Security at Islip is Fast, the Frontier counter is very friendly as long as you are not asking for free upgrades or free stuff that you should have paid for and the whole team was efficient. I last flew from Islip to Atlanta in December, 2025 and had trouble with my paperwork for my service dog. Queen Everett who is a Frontier employee was kind, helpful and gave me great customer service to clear up the problem and get me, my daughter and my service dog on the plane. Absolutely horrible. I tried to fly to Concord NC this morning. We had these flights booked for 4…read moremonths. We receive an email stating our 10:14AM flight was delayed due to maintenance issues. The new flight time is 12:47AM the next day, getting us in at 2:41AM... to be stranded at the airport with no way to rent our car because enterprise isn't open until 7AM. Who changes a flight to that time? Attempted to call their customer service line to speak to somebody because if you wanted to change to your flight online, you had to cancel the entire trip and rebook, you couldn't just rebook your one way. I had 173 people in line ahead of me when I called so I requested a callback. Nobody called me back. My friend called as well, 53 people ahead of her, no callback either. We were supposed to leave this morning. Absolutely terrible airline and customer service. Would never attempt to book them again.

I am now trying to use the credit, but they no longer fly to Wilmington, NC. They actually only have one destination from NY (my home) to Charlotte, NC which is 287 miles from my destination. I have requested a monetary refund from Avelo because they can no longer accommodate my needs since they no longer fly to my destination. I am a widow on a fixed income and that $335 is a big deal to me. A travel credit is worthless to me since there is only one destination available from my hometown.

The flight was delayed about 25 minutes which was no big deal. We boarded the plane and was happy because my daughter and I Got an extra seat in our row. As we were sitting on the plane, they made an announcement that it looked like we had two tires that needed to be changed. They informed us that it would take approximately 45 minutes for maintenance to arrive and then approximately another hour. They had a suite on the plane for about 15 or 20 minutes and then came back on the announcements and told us that we were going to have to do you board the plane and that we could leave or are belongings. At that point we actually had to stand online to get our boarding passes re-scanned to exit the point. We then were off the plane for about an hour when they made an announcement That this plane could not fly out this evening. They were flying in another plane which would arrive in about an hour and a half at that point. But that meant that we had to now get back on the plane and get our belongings and bring them off the plane we then had to wait until they called us to get back on the plane retrieve our items and then get back off the plane and then wait a couple of hours for the other plane to arrive. We once again stood on line for a placement and seats and boarded the plane once again. They did give each passenger a $100 credit for their troubles and once we finally took off at about 10pm, the crew members on the place were wonderful.

His flight did not end up getting cancelled but it was delayed 6 hours due to malfunctions with the plane he was supposed to be flying. This is unacceptable and I do NOT recommend using this airline if you want a smooth, fast and easy trip.

She even wished my husband a speedy recovery and I truly appreciated that! It is nice when the airlines work with you. I have never had a problem with this airline, and I have flown several times.

I had to call them. They had the wrong address for pick up in the system so it was good I called ahead. The taxi arrived LATE. The driver was very friendly. When I called for from airport week later dispatch again was awful. I was told they'd be there in 15 minutes had to call twice since they did not show. It took them close to an hour to show. With both calls it was very unclear, having to constantly say we have bad connection please repeat. If they don't fix issues with their dispatch service they will lose many customers.
