Parking can be iffy, sometimes I have to wait on the phone to talk to an employee, and the building was a little difficult to find the first time, but overall I'm very happy with how I'm treated here.

Their websites don't work they pixelate, they say my phone number is not valid, after all I've had the phone number for years why would it be valid?. You call and leave messages and no one returns your call and that is only if you can reach a person or a phone to leave a message. When you do call the billing office they start up by saying you have to wait 15 minutes several minutes later the wait time is 17 minutes a few minutes after that the wait time is 20 minutes the longer you wait the more your wait time increases. You see the only people whose time is important is theirs. They could care less about their patients. The actual doctors are great. But you can't reach them when you need them they make it impossible for you to talk to a human.

Then the new doc left. I had to find a doc accepting new patients. They couldn't schedule me to see a doc for 7 months. But they told me they would still fill my rx until I had my appointment. No problem. Then they came out with a new policy that I have to be an established patient and they could not fill my rx for 7 months. Now, I have to go explain myself and why I need my rx to Instacare or Connect Care. Horrible service IHC and Alta View! Given the rate they go through physicians and their stupid policies. They are horribly mis-managed. On to finding a new doc and place that gives a sh!t about their patients. Obviously they don't.

When I questioned the office about this additional charge, they explained that discussions about my monthly cycle and menopause symptoms were not considered part of the annual exam and thus incurred extra fees. According to them, an annual exam only covers a breast exam and a pap smear--nothing more. This was surprising to me, as my previous OB-GYN routinely discussed my monthly cycle and general health without additional charges. Most labs come back in a day and I'm notified immediately, this is super fast compared to a medical facility that I previously worked at. All of the Medical Assistants that I have had were excellent and caring. My only concern was the billing department not being up to date. The front office person told me I owed $30. which I had already paid 2 months prior, and it wasn't even for this office/doctor. She didn't believe me when I told her and gave me a dirty look. I felt this was very unprofessional of her and the next time I came in I had the proof with me. Going to a doctor shouldn't cause more anxiety but because I have had no other issues in over 30yrs I will not take any "stars" from my review. I have also gone to 2 other lady practitioners in this practice (Margaret and Jackie and they were wonderful also but avoid Dr. Bulaj as she is the worst doctor I've ever experienced in my life. I've been looking for a primary doctor for a while. Being from out of state I haven't really found a family physician doctor who also covers such a wide scope of practice. Dr Zhang is a certified and licensed injector as well! I love how tranquil the lobby is. Very cozy with a lot of Chinese cultural decor. Doctor Zhang was so kind and laid back. She was very easy to talk to and not judgmental at all when it came to topics of previous medication or overall health awareness. They are really great in terms of resources and knowledge. They are licensed and able to prescribe Suboxone for people who may have had previous issues or abuse from opiates.
