Stopped by to try it after a friend recommended the bakery. Plus, pictures on here made the food quite appetizing. I had the guava and carne pastelitos along with the super meng sandwich. Both of which were amazing The pastelitos tasted and looked like they were made in house which is hard to find nowadays in Miami. The super meng was huge, I'm a guy that loves huge portions especially when the food taste as good as this sandwich. When I tasted the sandwich, the first thing that came to mind was that this is a Cuban twist on a Philly cheesesteak, and it was executed perfectly. The staff was friendly, the bakery was clean and well kept and all the food was fresh. My one tiny complaint is that pastries are a tad expensive compared to what other places have them for but, it is understandable since they're made in house (I'm assuming). 10/10 read more

My daughter set up my new laptop today so I am able to make this review. I do not recall the date when I enjoyed the pastries from this bakery. All were very delicious! My husband and I tried many things, everything we loved. We are anticipating our next trip to get more pastries again. The service was outstanding and a clean environment. I want to write a sonnet about each item on the menu, but that probably wouldn't fit within one Yelp review. So, here we go: Sandwiches: They are all so massive. Seriously, it's like they're challenging me to finish the sandwich, and I'll never pass up a good challenge. My favorite is their croqueta preparada, which is basically a ham, papitas, and swiss cheese sandwich with their House croquetas (which are arguably the best croquetas they offer). Tip #1: Stuff two of their House croquetas in any sandwich by ordering four of them on the side! Bakery: Do you like pizza? Do you like pastelitos? 'Por que no los dos' it with their pizza pastelito, with layers of minced ham, cream cheese, and a thin layer of tomato sauce. This is actually a non-negotiable order here. Breakfast: I usually come here for breakfast, and I'm always torn between their omelette sandwich, which I get with ham, cheese, and papitas. Or a Completa, which is basically like a Cuban Grand Slam. I get mine with two sunny side up eggs, bacon, french fries, a tostada, and a cortadito (which is a sweetened espresso with milk) so I can dip my french fries and bacon in my egg yolk (nature's dipping sauce!). Tip #2: If you're not dipping your buttery tostada in your cortadito, you actually have never really had a real breakfast experience in Miami. Stopped by on my way to work as I was craving a tequeño. Breadman always pops up as the top bakery on Yelp so I had to give it a try. It was pretty packed, but it also is a small bakery. Probably best for ordering and taking on the go. The ladies working were very friendly and quick to attend everyone. I ordered a cafe con leche, a tequeño, and two croquetas de casa. Café con leche was the good, can never go wrong. The croquetas were thick and fluffy! I really liked them. I was just a little disappointed in the tequeño. It wasn't warm and the cheese didn't melt in my mouth like a perfect tequeño would :( I'll still make back though, they have more I would like to try. read more

This was my inaugural trip to Breadman and it surely won't be my last. I've been following Breadman on IG for months now and have been salivating over their modern twist on traditional Cuban pastries and sandwiches. We decided to stop for pastelitos and croquetas on the way out of town to have plenty of snacks for a road trip. We chose two ham croquetas for my picky toddler, which she promptly inhaled and a variety of pastelitos for the rest of us. We got a handful of the carne and maduro ones, a coconut one, guava and cheese, and the nutella one. All of them were AMAZING. The maduros are blended into the meat mixture and gives it such a unique and flavorful taste. More importantly, the prices are so reasonable. I cannot wait to go back and try the cold brew, sandwiches and other desserts. Breadman definitely knows how to put a fresh twist on standard pastries. read more

We got the ham and chicken croquettes, vanilla eclair, and cafe con leche. One was iced and one was not. The only bad part about them was that we wanted more! They were delicious and the iced one didn't get watered down like usual ice coffees do. You get a lot of croquettes for the price and the ham ones were especially our favorites. Breadman Never disappoints us....we are a regular to the Hialeah location but today we were down south and decided to stop in and try their other location, cafe con leche is still on point (which I need one everyday) we decided to try There new sandwiches my husband had the gordo melt and I had el salvaje WOW!!! Amazing!!! It's to die for the gordo melt is a sweet round bread with ropa vieja and mozarella cheese my husband ate it all and was very satisfied, mine was a bottom layer of fried mash potatoes with ropa vieja, mozarella cheese, papita juliana and they topped it with a house sauce which was so yummy. Desert is a must at breadman you can't come here and leave without having and I don't share at breadman lol so my husband had the 3 leche Nutella and it was so yummy it was moist and the flavor of Nutella was super good So now for my desert the girls convinced me to have a desert shake....what's that??? Well the make a shake from anything they have on there sweet display cooler...I had the Dulce de leche cake shake and I can't express how amazing this was I could taste the little piece of cake and Dulce de leche...so bottom line stop in and try them out I found out it's same owners so I'm assuming that's why service and food has always been amazing read more

I'm not sure how much my experience had to do with ordering online... my friend wanted an omelette sandwich with just ham, egg, and cheese and it says that it comes with one side. It wasn't really clear what all came with the omelette sandwich so in the special instructions, I added the note, and it required a side to be selected, so I chose bacon. What we actually got was an omelette with all kinds of stuff in it including chorizo and ingredients we didn't ask for, and the bacon was on there too (so much for the "side"). I had the ham, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich and it was alright, nothing to write home about. The ham croquetas were decent, as were the beef empanadas. With so many Cuban bakeries in the area, I can't say there is anything special about this one, unfortunately. My friend picked up the order so I didn't get to see what it was like on the inside. He said they spoke enough English to get by. Nice that it was open at 7:30 am on a Sunday when we ordered, but not nice that it was $30 down the drain for subpar food when we could have been more satisfied picking up McDonald's. read more

I just visited this bakery and the girl was very rude, they close at 4:00 pm on Sundays, I walked in at 3:57 to buy a guava pastelito and the girl approached me with an attitude to tell me they were closed, I asked if I could just buy a pastelito and she repeated, NO WE ARE CLOSED! My first time coming here, given pretty late in the day (5PM) and if you're from Miami, you know that the earlier you get to the pastelería, the better. However, I was very pleased to find a great selection of sweets and salty items alike, still available so late! I will say, if empanadas are your vice, you should come earlier in the day, as they were nearly cleaned out! I came here because I wanted to sit and video chat with a teacher outside of home (and that wasn't a Starbucks) and also grab some lunch. I was originally only going to get some pastries and coffee, but their sandwich menu ended up catching my eye, and I ended up getting a "El Gordo Melt", which comes with juicy Ropa Vieja, gooey melted mozzarella cheese, and potato stix (mini crispy fries) nestled between two soft buns of bread. Delicious! I also tried their made-in-house ham croqueta, which normally I don't take chances with at other cafes, but this one was super good! On top of that, I also got a cafe con leche just how I like it: dark (extra coffee) and extra sweet: perfection. As if that wasn't enough, I also ended up taking home some tres leches and a little flan, which my family ate up in 2 seconds. I'd love to return to try the interesting twists on their pastries: like the Nutella tres leches, or the Nutella tequeño! Think I found my new favorite pastelería! I now understand why the reviews of this place are so good. We picked up an assortment of pastelito's this morning and everything was absolutely delicious! Fortunately we were early enough to get some of the Pan de Seda and it was amazing! The Nutella y queso was also a big hit for our family. The Cuban bread was straight out of the oven, the fresh squeezed orange juice was amazing, and the colada was perfect! I had the other half of the sandwich the next day and added a bit of mayo & mustard and pressed it on my George Foreman. That made it way better. Nothing like melty cheese! My husband had the Frita. It was different, but tasty. How do I know? Because I stole a bite! It was topped with lettuce & tomato on a sweet bun. Oh, and for dessert (can't forget about that) I had a bread pudding which was delish and he had a Cuatro Leche that he thoroughly enjoyed. He also bought something, just because he liked the name.
