It's been years since Breadtalk was launched in the Philippines. My mom and I got our first bite in their SM North Edsa branch and we fell in love. Years later, whenever she's in town, we'd always get a box full of bread from Gateway and eat them all.
PROS: One word, FLOSS. There. Let it sink in, because that deliciousness needs some time for reflection. They're internationally known for their wonderful creation of a bun with shredded pork on top and a surprise filling inside. It's also internationally known that I could just eat that all day; Every pastry they have looks appetizing and you'd like to have it all, like those cheesy breads and pizza baguette. And those cakes! Almost too cute to eat.
CONS: There's the occasional line as you wait for your turn to get some bread using their white tongs and tray. And if you're unlucky, when your turn comes, they've ran out of whatever you were eyeing. Extra unlucky if they won't be baking any more batches.
TL;DR: Hoard them breads. Take a huge bite from your Floss. Hum Fergie's Glamorous "by the glamorous/Oh the flossy FLOSSSSYYY" read more
