It will be revitalized for the next two years. Many businesses have shuttered for good. This one and its sister business, Cafe on the Go, were still open when I was there. This store was still doing solid business. It's likely because folks wanted patties I wanted to reminisce. Staff were friendly despite a rather sombre last day. Both the cafe and bakery accepted cash and debit cards only. This place had hot foods, sandwiches, and more. Grabbing a beef patty will always be a fond memory for me. It's the perfect snack while waiting for your bus or train. It's bittersweet seeing businesses affected by the demolition.
