We received our very first loaf of bread from "Bread in the Box" on May 12, 2020. We chose the Monthly Specialty Bread and received a loaf of Banana Chocolate Chip bread for May. The bread was delicious and moist, and with the right flavor, smell, density and airiness. It was well seasoned and baked through. We finished the loaf in 1.5 days between the 3 of us because it was so good

Amazing baked goods. I found this gem on the Too Good To Go app and ordered a surprise bag. I got a WHOLE box of mini conchas, 2 shortbread cookies, and 4 Bolillo rolls. I am in HEAVEN!! The door was locked so I rang the bell and got my order immediately and it all smelled so yummy!! read more

We usually get this bread from Longmont dairy in our order and haven't been blown away. For the $6.50 price tag I would expect a loaf of banana bread to blow me away. These are very small loafs but are very dense. Sometimes we get good flavors but I would steer clear of the lemon bread if you love lemons because it just tasted like pound cake to me. Still a good thing to add to your list through Longmont to meet your minimum, but be careful of some of the specialty breads of the month. read more

We have purchased this bread from Longmont Dairy. The first loaf we got was ok but home made banana bread is is better. We then tried several different flavors but bread got worse - either over baked and burnt or under baked. Not much flavor They all sounded better than they tasted. No more of this bread for us. read more

Bread lovers can delight! We started eating bread from Bread in the Box about 2 months ago and order it through Longmont Dairy's home delivery. It is amazing bread! So far I have tried their banana and zucchini quick breads and their whole wheat honey sandwich bread. The quick breads truly taste like great, homemade quick bread. They are moist and have the perfect amount of banana flavor in the banana and spice in the zucchini. Neither has been too oily, which so many quick breads seem to be. They also have a perfect amount of sweetness--the taste of sweet doesn't dominate the flavor at all. The whole wheat honey has just a touch of honey and has a lighter texture than some wheat breads do and makes excellent toast and sandwiches. Their ingredients are pretty limited and I do NOT see any preservatives listed. If you use Longmont Dairy or live in the delivery area of the bakery, just give it a try! read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this service!! We have had a great experience with Bread In the Box. We've been having bread delivered for about a year, every other week. We love all of their bread choices (current faves are the country white and honey wheat) and the monthly seasonal options are always a fun treat. My favorites have been the lemon loaf and snickerdoodle bread, but seriously every loaf I've received has been amazing. I also love that the bread can come pre-sliced now!! I often find myself checking my bread box on off weeks in hopes that I'll find a new loaf. The website is also super user friendly and making changes to my orders is a snap!! Highly recommend!!! read more

Meet the Business Owner: Camby and Daniel H.

Camby has always had a passion for baking. Her baked goods have been sought after for many years. A friend gave us the idea to open a bakery but managing a store front 7 days a week didn't sound like fun. She then suggested to deliver the bread to our customers. So that is what we are doing. We opened our business in March of 2015. Our goal is to bring the best, freshest bread to directly to your door and skip it sitting on the shelf in the store!

I think I've tried every food delivery service out there and Sweetpea + Thyme is as good as it gets. Every single meal I've had from Lizzie & Jen's kitchen the past 6 months has been so tasty. Even when I'm not excited from something on the menu it ends up being incredibly good. The lowdown on how it works: The Friday before: - Lizzie sends an email w/ the menu for the following week (one choice per day: Monday-Thursday). She will also work with any dietary restrictions. - I reply to the email w/ the days we'll be getting food. We typically order for 3 nights/week, which we end up eating all week long (lunches included). - Lizzie emails heat up instructions that even those of us who can't make eggs can handle The day of: 4pm: Lizzie shows up with a bag full of amazing food 6:30-8:30pm: My husband and I negotiate with (and sometimes threaten) 3 children to go to bed 8:30pm: We're hungry and exhausted after a long day of work and negotiating with our children, but we spend a few min heating up the meal 8:40pm: We eat too much of an amazing, but somewhat healthy meal...and sing Lizzie & Jen praises. --- I often bring the leftovers to work and somehow they taste even better (if possible) for lunch the next day. My kids also often enjoy the leftovers for lunch and I've even had my son's teacher ask how I find time to work, take care of 3 kids and make him amazing home cooked lunches. Ha.

That evening, I was craving pho. Pho 92 came recommended and I was immediately drawn to the clear broth in the photos while researching Yelp for Vietnamese food. It was a Thursday evening when we arrived at Pho 92, and the restaurant was packed. It was loud, with staff bustling about and patrons enjoying their meals. The aroma of the pho broth was just as I had hoped for a busy restaurant. We waited approximately 10 min for a table. The staff were pretty efficient and looked to have a good system going for bussing tables. Hailing from CA, I am no stranger to good pho, and this place hit the spot. I'm so glad I decided to get the regular instead of the large, because wow those portion sizes were indeed huge. My husband made the "mistake" of ordering the combination vermicelli bowl, and it came packed with tender proteins and crispy egg rolls. That just meant for some delicious leftovers (that actually reheated perfectly). The pho broth was as clear as I had imagined from looking at other patrons' photos. It still had a good depth of flavor, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had been a long travel day for us, so I didn't want oily soup. (Sometimes I do enjoy rich, oilier pho broth, but not that night.) The pho came with a plethora of herbs, which I of course used all of. Be warned that their chili oil is very spicy, which I accidentally put too much of without first trying (oops). I generally don't go to the same spot twice during a trip, as I enjoy trying out different local businesses, but Pho 92 would have been a spot I'd return to again if we had had the time and if I had wanted pho again. I love having freshly baked bread delivered to my door. I always have to take an extra minute to savor the scent of fresh bread. Mmmm! Our regular order is usually the Multi-grained Honey Wheat and the Super 18 loaves but I have tried all the breads. The traditional white is too die for... so yummy. We have tried the monthly special breads as well, those are always delicious and a fun treat to add in once and a while. You can get your bread sliced or unsliced. Customer service has been fantastic. We never buy bread from the store any more and I don't have to worry about weird ingredients slipping their way into the bread. Can't recommend Bread in the Box enough. Love them. read more

I truly love this bread!!! They have many types of bread suitable for any palate out there, each is very very fresh, packed with a ton of flavor, and made with better ingredients for a healthier choice. I have highly recommended this Bread, and more importantly the Company, to numerous friends, family, and colleagues for a couple reason, primarily because their product speaks for itself with such great quality, but also this is a local establishment and there is nothing better than getting a great product at a reasonable price from someone in our own community. This bread is delicious. The customer service of this company is top notch. I also love that it is family owned. My husband and I had the opportunity to meet the family at a Castle Rock event and I thought it was awesome that they basically asked us what they could do to improve.
