An oasis of beer selections in a desert of craft beer opportunities in south Austin. Who knew when I stopped by they would have my favorite Kona Hawaiian beer that I've been looking for. They have a HUGE wine selection too and I for one will be back to see hat else they have. I'm so happy to have so many beers to chose from with out going somewhere else. read more

So I'm reviewing a gas station. So what. If you flatter me profusely every time I come in to buy wine, and don't judge me when that happens to occur twice in one day, and your gas also happens to be the cheapest in the area, you deserve mad props. I hate convenience stores / gas stations and everything about them as a general rule. I see them and think: pee. This place is going to smell of pee. And that prognostication almost always proves true. It's a talent, I know. I can also predict which queues will take the longest at the grocery store and the exact moment at which a show will come back on after a commercial break. It's cray. This place is new, clean and exactly the convenience you're looking for when you don't have time to run to the super market. It also does not smell of pee. Seriously, the two clerks there right now are awesome, they've always got a joke and a compliment for me and serve as an odd reminder that random niceties can really brighten someone's day. How weird is it to say that "when I leave this gas station, I'm usually smiling". It sounds creepy, I know. But the truth is that these gentlemen give great customer service and because of that, I choose this stop specifically over the others in the area expressly because I know I'll be treated well at the counter. That and the fact that their wine selection is phenomenal all things considered, their bathrooms are clean and they've got a kitchen. We frequent this market and love it. However, the management/ owner needs to know that staff is consistently not wearing masks, and it makes me really uncomfortable. Mask not over their nose or around their neck. Last night staff had masks completely off. Then the two clerks were standing and vaping in the doorway with masks around their neck. We are going to start going to the other gas station down the street for now. read more

Gas quality is terrible here. Had to drain my gas tank after filling up here. They found water in the tank! Also, the price displayed on items (especially adult beverages) rings up more than shown. They're trying to skim extra profit by misleading you. read more

I love their selection, but they have been so flippant about COVID. The staff refuses to wear masks. They consantly keep it below their nose and pull it down completely to talk with eachother. Pulling your mask up just to check me out and then pulling it down again as soon as you hand me the receipt defeats the purpose. They also refuse enforce the mask rules for their customers. I saw the clerks chatting it up with customers that came in with no mask at all. I love this place, but this is unacceptable and puts your customers at risk. read more

I have stopped in here on several occasions and always had really friendly service. Today I decided to go outside my comfort zone and order a gyros from the back of a gas station- and I am here to tell you it was REALLY GOOD! Meat from a rotisserie spit (not a freezer pack), fresh lettuce,tomato, onion, cream, and lovely feta crumbles. Traditional Greek pita bread is warmed on the stove for each order. The bread is light and fluffy and bears no resemblance to a tortilla. This is the best gyro I have had in south Austin. And yes, I've eaten at the food trailer on manchaca; this is way better. Yes - indeed I am reviewing a gas station for their breakfast tacos. First a brief overview on the gas station itself - for my area of South Austin this station generally has the lowest gas price per gallon. The mini mart is new, clean and the employees are very friendly. Now to the tacos - first when I see that a gas station sells breakfast tacos I drive straight past them. But they are different here. There is a kitchen in the back just for making the tacos. They are made fresh daily with a variety of different kinds. The tacos are a little over seasoned for my taste, but all in all worth stopping here for coffee and two tacos to get your morning going. read more

This station opened just recently so the gas prices may be too good to be true, but I'm enjoying the heck out of them for now! I stop by here almost every morning to grab my coffee & taco before work. Their coffee station is always up to par. I like the tv instructional video on different coffee ideas they have on for the customer all morning. Their tacos and salsa are great and the ladies who prep these are the nicest people. I live near the newest Bread basket location but drive an extra 2 miles here because this is by far the best one of them all. read more

This store is very close and convenient for me to make a beer run. However, I avoid it if possible because most of their craft beer is not labeled with a price. I refuse to buy something if I don't know how much it costs. Their beer prices seem to have crept upward since they opened, but so has the selection. It's by far the best in the area. Don't know if clerks were having a bad day but hey-it's 110 degrees for everyone. Bought a chilled bottle of Prosecca and ice cream, paid, gave change to change tray and dude said nothing, threw the change down-didn't ask if I wanted a bag and didn't say "I'm sorry, we don't have bags"-just ungrateful and unprofessional. I have been a faithful customer of this convenience store since they opened. The employees are always super friendly, they have just about anything you need in their inventory AND they have the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen in a gas station. The employees take pride in their jobs and they always give my kids a little treat when I bring them in. I love this store so much, I'm considering applying for a job there myself lol. I have nothing but good things to say about this corner store. They have a variety of grocery items as well as the typical things you would find at your average store. I even requested a specific product and they had it in stock a week later. The staff is super friendly and efficient every time I visit (several days a week).
