So many improvements here! Simon's Brea Mall has valet service located south of Nordstrom and Pottery Barn (across from North Italia). Kura sushi bar has a fresh new look (frontage). And just below is the "reimagined"'play place with an airy aesthetic and seats for parents to watch the progression of play. A long time local favorite that has returned is Williams Sonoma (cooking classes every Sunday) which just opened this April. Rivian also has found a home at the Brea Mall. Elevators are in place and working at west garage by Lifetime Gym--open and offers many amenities. Pools are really something to experience. Some newly opened restaurants are: Kalbi Social Club, North Italia, Pacific Catch (see specials menu). The Melt & Din Tai Fung are open. At our last visit, North Italia was at capacity. There is a waiting list for Din Tai Fung and reservations are recommended.

Whoa! It's been 9 years since my last review; time for an update! This is one of the few malls that's still thriving. After Sears closed, they tore it down and are now building a nice outdoor retail/dining area with some decent restaurants. I'm not sure why apartments taking over a mall parking lot are such a big deal, and not sure I would want to live that close to a major mall, but I assume they make money. The one they do is take up parking. Which is my only complaint. Parking here can be a pain. Whatever you do, never park in the parking garage next to Nordstrom's when it's busy. The cars backed up on the street can be insane, and the guys with the flags to control traffic seem to be there only to help pedestrians cross the road. The last time I tried to park there, we ended up on the very top, which was also full, and only got a spot because someone left. Parking behind the men's/houseware Macy's store used to be great, but then they locked those doors. During the holiday, parking is already bad enough, but with this expanded area, it's only going to get worse. Inside the mall, I do love the mix of stores. The food court has just enough variety to make most people happy. It's also a great mall for walking, especially if you end up parking far enough away from an entrance to earn some extra steps.

Always a great time at this mall. It has improved so much .I love the new stores and eateries. Service is always good and they have a nice variety of selection of shopping stores to choose from with great bargains

I really like Brea Mall. It's spacious, modern, and has a nice layout that's easy to walk around. The stores always seem well organized, and whenever I've asked about a particular item, the associates have been friendly and helpful with pointing me in the right direction. I also enjoy the food court area since there are a lot of dining options to choose from, and the whole area is usually kept pretty clean. The only downside for me is parking. This mall is almost always busy, so finding a good parking spot can sometimes take a little patience. Even with that, it's still one of the malls I enjoy visiting when I'm in the area.

Apparently a decade is plenty of time for a mall to reinvent itself, because Brea Mall felt almost completely new to me. I hadn't been here in more than ten years and was genuinely impressed by how many stores there are now. It feels like they have just about everything you could possibly be looking for, with enough variety to make wandering around half the fun. The layout is large and winding enough that it's easy to lose track of where you are, but not so enormous that a shopping trip turns into an endurance sport. Overall, it's a really solid mall with a great mix of stores, and after such a long absence, I'm glad I finally made my way back.

My dad decided to visit this mall on Mother's Day. It was crowded and the whole mall was renovated with an expansion of new restaurants, outdoor area, and modern retail stores. They even offer three popular boba tea selections like Chagee, Heytea, and The Alley. It's basically a rich people mall like Valley Fair in San Jose, but has free parking. There weren't a lot of seats for this big mall. They should add more benches to the outdoor grassy area and some shade. It's a really posh mall since their renovation. There's a bus stop located in front of Macy's parking lot, which you can travel around Orange County with the OC Bus and SGV with Foothill Transit. A bit of a five minute walk to the stop, but the buses are convenient.

Review 41/365 Day Challenge My local mall has definitely gotten a fresh new look. There are so many stores, eatery shops and cool vibes here now. Hey tea shop just opened up on 02.13.26 and CHAGEE Tea Shoo opened right before the Holidays 2025. When they did a face lift remodeling of Brea mall with demolishing Sears Department store and adding the new wing with the outdoor area. It definitely gave an updated modern atmosphere to the mall. the new Wing of Brea Mall. New Alo & Uniqlo Store is really big and a lot of selections. Associate are nice and informative when asking for a particular item i was looking for. Store is organized and nicely well set up. Color coordination. They sell work out clothes and it is on the higher end price. But quality looks very durable. Definitely has a lot of foot traffic. A lot of my friends are excited about this shop coming to our local mall. So glad to see My fav department store Nordstrom's is still here. Holiday time, Santa & Bunny photos available during their season. Food court has decent food such as Blaze, Lollicup, Ghengis Khan, Jamba Juice, Cinnabon & lots more. During the holidays, Nordstrom department has valet parking available. There is a Starbucks Kiosk in the center of the mall in front of the Elevator. Parking here at the mall is busy especially since currently under construction of a new parking along with upcoming apartments being built here. Lots of parking available with parking structure.

I like the Brea Mall. There's plenty of parking available all around the mall. It's a huge mall. I enjoy the decorations and fountains throughout the property. It seems well-maintained overall. I came here recently during the holidays and boy was it busy! It was super crowded and the lines were long. What do you expect during the holidays though? There's lots of store and the selection is good. I've always had decent service here. You can find good values if you look for sales and deals.

It's been awhile since I came to the Brea Mall, but it very nice now. They have revamped by adding so many stores and eateries!! They have stores now outside and building more restaurants next to it. I like their many's, Nordstroms, and of course my fav store Alo. They have a very good food court and they have a chucks arcade that reminds you of chucks cheese with but arcade. It's pretty busy during the holidays! very good Christmas shopping as well. I recommend shopping here for sure! -Marshay D.

Came here after lunch to get some steps in. They have done some additions to the mall that complement it. Additional store and restaurant on the outside. Looks very nice. I am pretty sure that's why it was so busy. Overall, I had a great time walking around.

Tons of different restaurants to eat at, though some spots are becoming a revolving door of change. A movie theater, super cool when they had the East side and West side both going. Improv across from the main street. Coffee shops to keep humans alive. Activity businesses like Pinot's and a Color Me Mine. They just opened a boot barn on the end closer to Imperial Highway. Plenty to enjoy, I haven't listed even a fraction of what is here. A new favorite for me is the Reunion Kitchen, awesome restaurant.. They are building an indoor family activity center right now, pretty stoked to see what comes of that. They decorate nicely for holidays. It is a small, clean, safe place to enjoy a solo, date, or family morning afternoon or evening. They recently built a third parking garage, clearly setting Brea up for a busy future. The parking garages are free, but there is valet parking on the north east corner behind Reunion/Yard House as well.

It ruins the whole atmosphere of being outside, and there is some nasty smells around the water sculpture, as well as the corner behind HomeGoods. It smells like cigarette smoke with sewage! It's always present, and I wish they would do something about it. It just ruins the presence. They have been doing construction here, so I wonder what the new establishments are going to be like. I hope they build more restaurants in the area because I love how local every thing is, and I would like to try a wider variety. EV parking here is my favorite, and I like that they have pickup parking for deliveries around the structures.

The look and layout make it enjoyable to walk around -- plenty of clean, open spaces and outdoor seating that give it a relaxed vibe, especially on a nice day. With a strong lineup of restaurants, cafes, and shops anchored by Whole Foods, it's easy to spend time there whether you're grabbing groceries, meeting friends for lunch, or just grabbing a coffee. What I personally like most is the variety of food and retail options and that it doesn't feel like just another strip mall -- it's got a little bit of atmosphere to it. Many of the eateries have good food, and the plaza feels more like a place to hang out, stroll, or make a whole afternoon out of your visit. The reason it's not a full 5 stars for me is parking and crowding. At peak times, the parking can get really tight, and sometimes spots fill up before you even get close to the shops. That can be annoying if you're just trying to pop in for something quick. Overall -- a pleasant, well‑designed place with good food and shopping options that's worth visiting, just be ready for a bit of parking hustle during busy hours.
