Can't wait to go back to miami and get lit and LIV! 10 out of 10!

Security guards going so slow. Drinks made so slow, too. Service so slow. Hate that the dancefloor is not that big and so many girls standing on the elevated platforms barely dancing. They never announced that 50 Cent would not show up, but still charged $120 a ticket? Crazy. This is for tickets before 2300 admission. Worst part of the Miami trip. Tooooo overpriced

There's an intense dynamic of action throughout this joint- upstairs and downstairs. There's professional performers on the center bar top. Walk to the back and there's another live performance complete with more dancers and singing with a dance floor at the stage. What's upstairs? There is DJ dancing - popular high energy music. The drinks are definitely expensive, but that is to be expected in South Beach. The only complaint is the bartenders I visited on the bottom floor to the left bar in the back and upstairs in the DJ room looked like they did not want to be there. Perhaps, this place is too wild for a continuous eight hour shift? Who knows. The jovial atmosphere in this place makes you forget quickly though. I think I stayed here until 2am dancing my ass off. I had a colorful evening and would definitely return! - maybe the dinner and show experience?

My sister was having a great time. Meanwhile, I was just trying to catch up to the plot. The venue is definitely an experience -- high energy, memorable, and not exactly what you expect if you walk in unaware. The atmosphere is over-the-top Miami in the best and most chaotic way. Not my typical night out, but I have to give credit where it's due: Eleven delivered exactly the kind of unforgettable experience Miami is known for.

Originally they had a list for women to enter free and we got the men $50 tickets. They then got rid of the free women list later and tickets had gone up at that point. We still wanted to go because back when we lived here, we really enjoyed this club. It's a fantastic space. I love their indoor space for dancing and outdoor space for chatting. The best venues have a great mix of both in my opinion. It was also great for our group because half of us danced inside and the other half talked outside. Getting in wasn't too much of a problem. Some of the girls in my party were also able to get in with white tennis shoes which was nice (they were still dressed up). There was a person at the front that kept making jokes about getting more money from us that I wasn't a fan of, but besides that, I really enjoyed our time here. It was a fun tech house set.

Alex our instructor was fun, engaging, and an intelligent instructor that broke the dances down for even beginners to follow easily. We first had bachata lesson at 8pm, followed by complimentary mojito and Cuban bites, then wrapped up with salsa lesson at 9:20pm. I wished salsa lesson was a full hour, followed by more fun salsa dancing with instructor dancing alongside (you know, cuz regular student folks won't keep dancing salsa on their own without pros' boosting presence) because afterwards everyone pretty much stopped dancing salsa after the last song after lesson ended. Then it was regular club time. Good vibe and we had fun. The wristband we got allowed free entry to the club downstairs so we could enjoy the cabaret performance and backstage live music band a bit too. Overall I would recommend Alex and Salsa Mia without any reservation for anyone with an open mind looking to have a good dancing time! Try it - don't be scared as there's no need to be! The bartender told us from 8-10p, drinks are half off, whoa! The hard rock was playing and the decor above the bar will make you laugh (and maybe reminisce). They had an art installation in the bar (so cool that they do this!) when we were there. We weren't quite sure what kind of music the DJ would play, first it was very hard rock and the crowds started coming so more popular songs were played. People were dancing, drinking and having a good time. A full range of music from NIN, Nirvana, Mariah Carey, Shakira, etc was heard all evening! You could put requests in and it was honestly a really fun night! They keep the bar clean, always removing empty glasses, napkins and constantly moving to clear the bar and small tables. They have a water station at the end of the bar and really make sure it's always full. This is why i'm totally shocked that they agree to play in this venue. I wouldn't even call it a sound system. I wouldn't even use the word 'system'. It's just sound, more specifically, NOISE. Noise bouncing off the cavernous walls with way too much reverb. You could hear the bass but the elements of each track got drowned-out completely. This place looks like it was formerly an old movie theater and the people who bought the building and decided to open a nightclub, didn't exactly hire the best sound guys. They just bought expensive speakers, woofers and amps...and rigged it somehow....completely not accounting for the physical space itself. I love Sasha and Digweed. But M2? Never again. Sorry guys.
