She really listened to what we wanted, shared great ideas, and helped pull everything together beautifully. The crew always showed up on time, kept things tidy, and kept us in the loop along the way. Anytime we had a question, they were quick to respond and happy to help. Kudos to Project Manager Chris and his team! Our kitchen looks amazing and works so much better for our everyday life, and the bathroom feels like a little retreat. We've already gotten tons of compliments! We'd absolutely recommend them to anyone thinking about a kitchen or bath remodel. Great work, great people, and results we truly love.

To construction- Rob, he was so helpful, caring, & dedicated to his craft. Meticulous & very detail oriented, friendly, & pleasant as well. To the electric & plumbing contractors- great work & willing to adjust to our needs. To Chris, who oversaw it all & helped with our seriously awkward fridge/room opening situation! They all function like a well oiled machine. So thankful we trusted our gut & went with this company. Thank you O'Hanlon a million times over for giving us the kitchen of our dreams!

When we moved in our lovely new home in 2003, I was particularly fond of the massive soaking tub. But as time wore on and trends changed, it wasn't as en Vogue. And as much as I love a good soak, it took way too much water to fill. What I never loved was the base quality shower "box" with the cheap sliding doors. I so wanted to bring my bathroom into the current era. Last fall (2019), we decided it was time...and that we deserved it. Metropolitan Bath and Tile was great from the in-home measurement (great guy) to the selection of custom cabinetry, sink, tub, tile, and fixtures with help from Wendy and Alex. Our installation team was professional, respectful, and made sure to ask for input and explain as they went along. When I recall their names, I'll add them. They did excellent work and deserve to me mentioned! Our only snag was the new soaking tub was back ordered from the manufacturer. The install team apologized and tried to keep us abreast of the ETA as best they could. It turned out to be longer than we wanted, a few weeks of not using our bathroom while waiting. But when it was placed in and the flooring finished, it was perfect. With a little interior decorating by yours truly bathroom looks like it belongs in a destination spa. Their work isn't inexpensive, but you pay for quality and peace of mind. Sorry it's taken so long to post a review. Thank you to the folks at Metropolitan...and as their ad states bathrooms --it's what they do, it's all they do!

My wife insisted on this company. I was against it because of the outrageous cost to just do a 32"…read moreshower stall. $12,000+. Ridiculous, and we had the tile. This will probably bother me the rest of my life. The job was done well but there are so many other companies that could have done the job for half the price. You are paying for sales people that hold your hand and a showroom to show you your options. Some people need this, I don't. My wife apparently did. My sister just got a whole bathroom remodel including all the walls removed down to the studs, new tub, glass door, ceramic floors and walls, double sink vanity and all fixtures. All for $8,000. Her job looks just as good for so much less. If you don't mind paying inflated prices, by all means hire this company.

Their customer service is a disgrace, and I am done with their filthy store (Timonium, MD) and…read morestoned/inept employees. I placed a three item order today - 3 distinct types of storage bins. 2 DIFFERENT 57 gal storage bins (different colors and one was supposed to have wheels) and 1 40 gal storage container. Because I am 58 and have arthritis, I placed a delivery order for these. It was also to save me time, as I am incredibly busy right now. The delivery came when I was in the shower. When I went to get it, they gave me two 57 gal containers without wheels, and no 40gal container. So I call customer service. They said I would have to drive down to store. So I go down there. First, I want to say that store is a dump - filthy and it reeks of cannabis in the back. Broken and returned items are on the shelves for sale. I have to double check everything I buy there. So, I had to load those huge containers into my little car where they barely fit and drive down there. I parked in a "Curb Side Pickup" spot because I could not possibly carry these across the parking lot (which is why I placed a delivery). The customer service counter was unreachable due to many huge carts with huge pieces of drywall, lumber, and other stuff. I don't know if someone was going to build an entire house, and then changed their mind, or the store just leaves returns there to pile up. I was actually concerned I would get injured trying to make my way through that obstacle course to the return desk. Then when I got there, I find out that they took it upon themselves to cancel the one 57 gal red and black container with wheels. I never got a call, text, email note or nothing to that effect. They just sent me what they felt like - 2 clear and yellow 57 gal bins and no 40 gal bin. When I asked why I was not informed about the cancelled bin, they said "Well, we try and notify the customer when we can, but we can't always". Why? They have my landline number, cell number, home address, and e-mail. I will tell you why - they didn't feel like it and they couldn't give a damn about their customers. And there was no explanation about why I never got the 40 gal storage container and an extra of the 57 gal yellow and clear container. So the guy tries to process the return, but then has to wait for some woman, who is on the phone. Then I find out I can either leave the 2 bins there and "when he can" he would process the return because the system would not let him process the return because "it was too soon". I do not trust this business anymore. There was no way I would let them have both my money and the bins, so I at 58 years old with arthritis had to carry them out to my car again, and I have to come back tomorrow. I should have known after the debacle with a dishwasher a couple of years back. I paid for the dishwasher, delivery, and removal. Two guys come and note a tiny bit of oxidation on the valve that supplies water to the dishwasher, and said they cannot install it because of that. But one guy also said, that for $200 cash to him, he could install it after his shift. That was in addition to the money I paid to Home Depot for delivery & installation. I hired a plumber who said the valve was fine and paid him to install the dishwasher. I already swore off buying any appliance or anything that required professional installation at that time. Now I swear off everything they sell. They take their customers for granted and feel like we owe them our business and our money. I will return one more time with these damn bins, and that will be it. They can pound sand.
