We first came here when the original covid shots in Broward were very limited. My husband was able to get an appointment in Dade at the time; and a girlfriend who is a nurse found an open appointment for me here. We liked the set up and the light "touch" of the pharmacist so much, that we came back for second shots and boosters. Being seniors with issues, we needed to go whole hog on whatever protection we could get -- especially after the death of my husband's brother and sister-in-law and the death of my first cousin from Covid. We are starting our round of fall shots, so decided as we were in the area to stop by for our flu shots. No waiting. We filled out and signed our consent forms. We are already in their computers, so all went efficiently. And our shots were pain free and fast. We will be back.

I rarely ever have to wait at the deli to get slices meats and cheeses. I try to nab my favorite BOGOs on the items that I can't get anywhere else, and most recently I got the spices I needed- in glass containers- with a BOGO spice deal. Win! I also like to look at their greenwise meat and seafood options. I've recently been grabbing their cuban rolls, which are like a shorter sub roll, that my kids really love. However, my last few experiences at this Publix Manalapan have not been very pleasant. The cashiers and bag people literally don't say a word to you, but keep on talking to each other. They obviously don't care about Good Customer Relations because I literally stood for 20 minutes today as my groceries were scanned and packed and the cashier did not even look at me one time. They used to ask if we had found everything. They used to say good morning. Not anymore. Oh, but she did find her voice after everything was bagged up and I was getting ready to leave to ask me if I wanted to contribute to whatever the latest Publix charity is.

The produce section is very cramped, and there are no overflow sections for the Aldi finds section, which shares an aisle with the baking supplies. But the staff is awesome, so friendly and kind, and the hot Aldi finds items don't seem to disappear on the first day. The parking is ok, with a couple of pull-up parking spots on one side. It's so convenient to get to from I-95, plus it is a fairly newer store with a standalone building. Busier on the weekends, of course. There are no self checkouts at this location, which I think is great! Some of my go-to's are the grass-fed ground beef and the organic bags of apples. I enjoy the Aldi brand for processed items due to their policies. For my kids lunches, we get the organic fruit gummies, the rice cakes, the banana chips, and the Aldi-brand laughing cow cheese. The frozen protein waffles are a hit. We get Aldi knockoff cereals (cornflakes, rice krispies, chex), and as a treat on occasion their lucky charms cereal. It took me a long time to enjoy shopping here after primarily shopping at Publix, but I like having limited selections of products, the affordability of the Aldi brands, the option of their natural line, the fun of the finds aisle, and not having a giant store to get lost in.

When I stopped in yesterday to buy a couple bottles of wine I had my dog with me. I was aggressively stopped by armed security and told I could not have my dog in the store I explained she was a service animal. He and the manager both denied me access. I have it all on video!

My family and I love to come here because of the big and free parking lot and the large selection available in each side of the market. We tend to pick up some of the prepared food each week since it's easy to heat up and they provide instructions on how to do so and it's always such a filling and delicious meal. All the workers in the store are available through out the store to provide any answers to questions on what available and even provide free samples if asked! I also will say the breads and pastries are delicious and definitely worth purchasing especially since it's much cheaper to buy there versus at one of the bakeries on the island.
