I needed a few things and dropped in at this Publix while out for a ride. This Publix was clean and organized. I was able to find everything that I needed quickly. What made my visit 5 stars? I have been living in Manalapan for 35 years and was here for the opening of this Publix many many years ago. Publix has always prided tself on its friendliness and good customer service. However, my last few experiences at this Publix Manalapan have not been very pleasant. The cashiers and bag people literally don't say a word to you, but keep on talking to each other. They obviously don't care about Good Customer Relations because I literally stood for 20 minutes today as my groceries were scanned and packed and the cashier did not even look at me one time. They used to ask if we had found everything. They used to say good morning. Not anymore. Oh, but she did find her voice after everything was bagged up and I was getting ready to leave to ask me if I wanted to contribute to whatever the latest Publix charity is. read more

Customer service! Marie is that her name is customer service. My father and I walked in the store. My father approached the desk both Marie and the other associate completely ignored both of us. never even said hi good morning how are you today or we will be right with you. Nothing. This is what you call customer service. I can only imagine how Marie really handles her position. I will continue to go to my Publix in Cumming, Georgia. read more

Two stars for the sandwich being good. Five employees standing behind the deli with the line 6 deep. Finally when someone complained and they asked for help the lady that came to help has an attitude with all the customers. Some people walked away. I was just glad to get my sandwich and get out of there. Every time I come here, it's hilarious to watch how much of an attitude the employees have. read more

Very updated/fairly new Publix within a half mile from the beach. The location itself is smaller than some other locations but gets the job done. This Publix is a good option if you are visiting and staying near the beach. You can stock up on some snacks or try the famous Publix subs while in FL. Also people who live near by have it good with this Publix because they don't have to drive far away for groceries. I had to get some flowers last minute and decided to stop here. Their flower section was limited but nicely arranged. Ended up getting some orchids. The check out process was quick and I was on my way. Side Note- Good plaza with restaurants and stores near this Publix. Very convenient if you need to do multiple stops but want to stick to one plaza. ~ read more

Oh good grief - 5 minutes to get lottery tickets with absolutely no one in line, no acknowledgment, but clerk was helping an employee..... Then cashier said $27.91 and I gave $ 27.96 which she counted out in front of me. 3 quarters, 2 dimes and a penny and then said .91 which I corrected her and said 96. She replied but it's only 91 - I told her I don't have a nickel so just give me back a nickel. She took the money and handed me the receipt. No nickel. Had to go to customer service and told them - you would think I asked for a $100 bill they way they discussed it and looked totally confused. I left. It's not the nickel but 3 people couldn't figure it out.... You can't make this stuff up.....ludicrous read more

One of the best Publix around. They are warm and welcoming and have everything you need. They are located in Plaza Del Mar shopping center along with a wonderful Brunch place, a Chico's, a shoe store, a pizza place and much more. It is lovely inside and clean and is very convenient. read more

I've been waiting and waiting and waiting some more for this Publix to open. Now I no longer need to leave the island for a grocery run. The grand opening was today 8/16/18. It's obviously super clean and fresh. I really like the layout in this store as everything is organized logically. All of the cold items are in the very back of the store against the wall. No more going to one side for a few cold items and then all the way down to the other side for a few more. The deli is also modern and nice in design. The days of the cafeteria style look have gone away. The deli wraps around and there are separate stations for cold cuts, subs and hot foods. They have two big televisions with the sandwich options listed. There is also a large cooler section with various grab and go items that I haven't seen in other Publix stores. The produce area has wider aisles and the products are at eye level, so it's much easier to see and grab what you are looking for quickly. The customer service was great today. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The only downside to me is their hours. They close at 9:00 PM everyday. That means I can't procrastinate and have to get my ass to the store earlier, or coerce Liliane into going instead of me. Keep up the good work Manalapan Publix! read more

This Publix is nice, clean and has very pleasant staff. My 2 stars is not because there's anything specifically to complain about with respect to employees or store atmosphere... it's because the selection is so limited. Nice deli, but I mainly went for Gatorade Zero, yogurt, Simply Cheetos Cruncy, shampoo+conditioner and some meal replacement bars. Let's just say I left with 1 yogurt for the next days breakfast instead of enough for the week because they didn't have the flavors of Chobani I wanted, one Gatorade instead of 7-10 (again, NONE of the flavors I wanted, so I reluctantly grabbed an orange on just for the next morning), no bars, no Cheetos and they only had my Not Your Mother's conditioner but not the shampoo.... so my trip wasn't even worth the gas it took to get there and the next day I had to make ANOTHER trip to another Publix to get what I needed. I'm a really loyal Publix shopper, from South Carolina as a kid & college student, to Savanna Georgia for grad school to my eventual move to SoFlo I've only Ever shopped at Publix (sometimes Trader Joe's or Whole Foods for things Publix just doesn't carry) but always loyal to Publix... I was really bummed out that pretty much everything I went to the store for wasn't there... not even a tag for the items. I'll still remain a Publix shopper, but not this Publix :( read more

This Publix is great. It's smaller and easy to get in and out of, is fairly new and the people who work there are terrific. Due to its smaller size the selection can be a little bit limited but the ease of shopping here more than makes up for it. read more

This is an outstanding Publix. It is immaculate the staff on every level are top notch. You are greeted periodically throughout the entire store by very professional staff. I was searching for something I stopped an employee today stocking a shelf he couldn't have been more helpful. His name was GUY. The world needs more people like GUY. Guy stopped what he was doing ... thought a moment and proceeded to take me to the proper aisle and handed me the product I was looking for under 2 minutes! Whoever hired GUY .... great choice.. He said anytime you need anything just ask for GUY... I know the location of pretty much everything ! As I said before the world needs more people like GUY. read more

I went to get a sub and ended up walking out. The lettuce was rotten and all the toppings were thrown around. There were banana peppers in the onions the lettuce was soggy and yellow. I was so disgusted I just left. I'm not sure who is running this publix but I'd fire who's in charge it was embarrassing and disgusting. read more

By and large I'm a big fan of Publix and shop at a number of Publix stores in the Palm Beach area and have always been impressed with how well run the stores are. Having said that, this particular store seems to have problems with some of the staff, a number of whom are just plain rude. This is particularly true of the deli department. The same holds true for some of the younger check out clerks, who I have directly observed being outright unkind and rude to elderly customers. Yesterday I ordered online deli meat for pick up. Ordered a pound of turkey. They prepared 1/2 a pound. No big deal, but when I asked for the order to be corrected the deli guy who processed my order made it clear that he was thought he was being inconvienced and was rude, rude, rude. Most of the staff at this store are friendly, competent and very helpful, but the ones who are not give me pause about shopping here. read more
