I ordered the **BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger**, and while the presentation wasn't the most impressive, it does come with an onion ring, which is a nice touch. It's not my favorite burger on the menu, but it's still very good. I'd give it an **8/10**. The **Monster Burger** is where it's at, though! This is easily a **9/10** and one of those burgers you really can't go wrong with. The portion size, quality, and price are all excellent, and I especially love that it comes with two different types of cheese. Definitely one of the best options here. We also ordered the **Southwestern Salad**, which was really good. I would recommend asking for extra dressing because it could definitely use a little more. Overall, I'd give the salad an **8/10**. The **fries are always a 10/10**. The side portion is huge and easily enough to share, which makes it an even better value. The drinks are good as well. The **service is always top-notch**. They treat you like family, and the food comes out quickly. I also like that the restaurant has both a traditional service side, where tipping is optional, and a self-service side where you find your own table and pick up your food, so tipping isn't necessary. The **ambiance is one of the best things about this place**. If you're a sports fan, you'll love it. There's tons of sports memorabilia throughout the restaurant and plenty of TVs showing different games. It's a great place to hang out, grab some food, and watch sports. Being right across the street from Fresno State is also a huge plus. The only real downside is the **parking**. They definitely need to find a way to increase the amount of parking because it can be difficult to find a spot. Overall, this is a great place with **good food, generous portions, reasonable prices, excellent service, and an unbeatable sports atmosphere**. Definitely worth checking out!

He lives in Fresno and knows where all the good spot to eat were. DHG is my kind of bar & grill. It's lively, with good food, lots of beer options, big screen TVs playing sport and filled with locals. I went with the ABC burger, which was fantastic. My team mate mentioned that was his go-to burger. As a matter of fact all three of us ordered the same burger. We also ordered french fries, onion rings and yeah, multiple pints of beer. Everything was great and I see why it is so popular. We all agreed this would be the location for our next team meeting. And now for the pics.

After waiting to get in it took 40 minutes to get our food if not longer. We got a few things 1. Fried chicken - it was good, crispy and juicy 2. Ribs - we hated these they were drenched in sauce. I would prefer sauces on the side. It ruined them and they were on the tough side. 3. Rice and gravy - enjoyed this 4. Spaghetti - it wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. Had a strange aftertaste 5. Spicy cabbage - it was not spicy it was sweet and gooey and it was not good 6. Cornbread - a bit burnt for our liking 7. Lemon pudding cake - this was decent but also overly sweet. By the time we left the staff warmed up to having people there. They also charged 2 dollars for water which I thought was not okay. Water should be free at any restaurant. We paid 6 dollars for koolaid as well which is very high but it was good. Our entire bill was 46 and I feel like for what we got it wasn't a good deal. The restrooms were disgusting. I am not sure if I would be back. I was really looking forward to this place but I'll stick with chef Paul's.

The BBQ was great, but what really stood out to me was the owner. He took a good 20 minutes to explain his methods, what goes into the process, and the passion he has for his craft. You can tell this isn't just a business to him; he genuinely cares about what he's putting out and the people who come to enjoy it. Great food, great conversation, and you can tell there's a lot of pride behind the BBQ. Plenty of places to eat outside and decent amount of seating inside. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Fresno. Check the days and times as they're not open 7-days a week. Don't want you to be disappointed.

Before I say anything about the food, the atmosphere was amazing. We were greeted even before hitting the door by the owner and the team at the smoker. This is a family business, and we definitely got the feeling that we were welcome. The food blew me away. I've been lucky enough to taste brisket at some of the best BBQ joints in Texas, and Mega is on par with any of them. The trip tip was tender and full of flavor, and the hot links nice and smoky. We were also able to try a house made jalapeno and Jack sausage that will blow your mind. Did I mention the sides? Brisket chili beans, Mac and cheese, and potato salad. Every single side dish was on point. I don't like my potato salad with a bunch of other stuff mixed in, and this one didn't miss. Hold up. Ever hear about Alabama sauce? Why hasn't anyone ever told me about. Alabama sauce? This concoction was delicious. A bbq sauce that's mayo based? Sign me up! You need to try it. Only thing better would've been a cold beer to wash it all down, bu then again, I probably wouldn't have left. Thanks again for the hospitality. We will definitely be back for the other half of the menu!

As a vegetarian, coming to a BBQ place is always an adventure, but this place did not disappoint! I enjoyed a Wedge Salad minus the bacon, with dressings on the side. It was crisp, fresh, and quite ample in size. A wedge is typically cut in fourth or thirds, but this was like the entire bottom half of a head of lettuce. Good times, with leftovers to take home. The croutons were scrumptious, and I loved the slivered radishes too. So, follow me here- ya gotta have bread, right? I took down an entire order of Texas Toast, all by my lonesome! It was that good! Did I want to offer it to others, sure...but did I, nope! I highly recommend it! Such great textures overall! To top it all off, we shared a strawberry pizza. It was absolutely delicious- size was superb- definitely shareable. My takeaway, the usual BBQ Meals are of course faves for many- but for me, my choices were perfect, there is surely something for everyone. Well done.

He's not a master pit master yet, but he's trying hard. He has a full line of smoked meat - brisket, tri-tip, pork, ribs, chicken and hot links. All meats are smoked on site except for the hot links, which are a standard grocery store item. If you need a barbecue joint in this area of town, try them out. Look hard.
