Not having a lot of experience planning events, I knew I was in the right hands the minute I called in. Their staff walked me through all the things I needed to be know to plan the event. They recognized some concerns I had picturing how it would all come together, so they invited me to their large showroom, conveniently located off the 401 to view the tents, tables and all accessories. Call them, you won't be disappointed.

The customer service was really good when I emailed asking which balloons to purchase for a balloon display I wanted to make. They responded the next business days with the links to all the balloons and accessories I needed. This made it much easier than going through their massive selection. They have a pick-up option if you want to save on the shipping cost. The only thing is that it's hard to find the warehouse. There should be more signage to help customers find the warehouse. You have to turn off of Aimco and then down the road a little bit, turn left, and drive to the back.

Both Google and Yelp had good reviews, which helped my decision as well. Flowers & Balloons is part of a convenience store. It looks a little junky so I wasn't sure how the arrangement would turn out. Arrangements start at $75 so I decided to go with the starting rate. After I paid, I was told that my order would be ready in two hours. I was thoroughly impressed as were the recipients of the flowers. Good for: flowers

When I arrived I wasn't even greeting or thanked for coming in. I saw his office as I walked in and he sat there and looked at me. I informed him I was here for a 12pm appointment he said his wife would be with me shortly. When his wife approached she didn't introduce herself, didn't shake hands. I showed her a picture of what I was looking for. She threw on a table cloth on a table and said "this is what it will look like". Seriously? I drove 30 minutes from Mississauga for you to throw a table cloth on? WOW. When I asked if she could show me some pictures of head tables they had done in the past she said "yeah you can go to our Facebook page". I asked if she could give me a detailed estimate of what I requested with taxes, delivery or any other charges. She claimed it was all in the email. A wedding is one of the most important and special days of your life. All vendors should care about the bride and grooms vision, care about details and make you feel special. I was so unimpressed when I left and it really made me feel not welcome, like it was just another job.

"Do you ask for discount when you buy bread and milk at a grocery store?" This RUDE PERSON gave me that attitude. Very well. I'm going to make sure no one I know goes to them for business.
