This company sells leather replicas of famous character costumes; they typically are the ones that…read morehold the official license for the costumes. That is what made me wish to purchase from them. First, and foremost the communication for this company is wonderful, very polite and prompt. If you have any hesitancy about sizing, you should call. The quality of this costume is amazing but unfortunately was not the size advertised and so I cannot wear it. It was determined that I should order Small B for my Wonder Woman costume. Please note they do not ask you for traditional measurements; I have worked as a costumer for theatrical productions and these are not asking for your natural waist/hips. When I received the costume it would not close all the way where the skirt attaches to the corset/bodice exposing a large gap of Velcro. This is the area that is supposed to fall 2 inches below the belly button. When I measured the circumference of this section it came up over 4" short of what was listed on the website in the size chart 33"-see picture) so of course it didn't fit! Because of this, the skirt panels also did not entirely cover my bottom half. I contacted the company with pictures -trying to explain the issue. There was also way to much room in the chest area, I am a small B and I knew with the size this was already going to be a bit too big up top. I tightened the strap as much as I could in the back. The owner, David said he did not understand (regarding the images and my concern) and asked me to call him. This was in December. It took several months for us to get in touch because east coast/west coast time difference and my work schedule (the cost of the call, long distance was $16). So he asked me to take my measurements again, 2 inches below the navel over the phone. I was bigger but this is several months later, mind you and I was bloated. Waist 28" at navel, he said I may have gained a bit more weight and said he would have recommend the "C" though according the the chart, 28" at the hip is an "B" and hip was 33"-also a B. C would have been way to large in the bust. As you can see from the pictures the outside circumference measures 28.5" meaning the inside circumference is even smaller! Hence the large gap. The inside circumference at the hip should be at least the 33" (as per the size chart) The size problem was before I gained weight (you can see the Christmas tree in the background). We determined the corset might be too long and he suggested an alteration but this would be extremely costly and the person in town (Las Vegas) I spoke to said it still wouldn't solve the problem. It's not that the corset is too long, it's just that the bottom hip portion is not large enough-no alteration will fix that unless I wear it higher on my waist (which would be why the corset seems too long); as I had tried to explain to David. He also suggested wearing shorts under the skirt; this is not something I have to do with my other costume/not the look I am going for-it shouldn't be apparent. I paid $500 and should not have to make alterations. Sadly, I did not realize that return policies are different than Canada than in the states. Trying to sell the costume.
