I just had the sweetest experience: I called at 8:45 PM asking if they had any cookies left before their 9 PM close, the owner didn't hesitate to help me--she was exceptionally kind even when I pulled up right before locking up. My husband, kids, and I are customers for life!

First off, service was great when I walked in on August 21, 2024. The owners were very nice too! These New York-style cookies are HUGE. Delicious. Served warm in a black box with gold lettering. Just like the Hobbs High colors. Go Eagles! I ordered a box of 6 which set me back at $22.37, but keep in mind these are large cookies - just like the ones at Crumbl or Cookie Plug in L.A. My daughters and I split each cookie into 4. We tried the following: Red velvet Oreo, Biscoff Explosion, Salted Caramel Reeses, Crave milk chocolate chip, Snickerdoodle Toast Crunch, & The Crookie. Hands down the best one was Biscoff Explosion. Every Friday, they release five new flavors. This week they have a raspberry lemonade cookie that sounds perfect for ending summer. Their website shows which flavors will be available: https://cravecookies.com/ Love this place because I do not like baking when it's over 100 degrees Fahrenheit as it has been the past few weeks. Ample parking. Cash & plastic accepted. Join their rewards program -- it's easy & free plus a cookie on Crave is involved!

I love it because they have a huge selection of candies from when I was a kid that cannot be found anywhere else. Candy cigarettes, astropops, what looks like jelly bellies in all colors (for themed parties), and a ton of others! Every where I turned, I automatically smiled because sweet memories came out of everywhere. They also have more popcorn flavors than I thought possible, fun drinks, a mexican candy section, and a bunch of salt water taffy flavors I have never tried before- the pickle was fun, and pretty good actually! They also have a refrigerated section that I did not even get to yet, but it wont be long until I know all about it! This is fun store with a bunch of flavors that are from now and years past which makes it perfect for families, parties, and friends. Im pretty sure I saw a facebook message after I went that said they have gummy pineapple rings. If ever you get the chance to try those, trust me, dont get very many. You WILL eat them ALL! The owner is super kind and helpful, so if you go, ask him about the pineapple rings. Then buy them all, cancel your plans for the weekend, and enjoy!

My oldest kiddo and I opted for iced white mocha coffees. It was delicious, but had so much ice. My youngest kiddo chose a strawberry matcha with cold foam cream. She wasn't crazy about it until I told her to stir it up a bit. It was okay to me. I guess she learned that she might not be a fan of matcha after all. Lol. The service was exceedingly friendly, but the drinks come out a bit on the slow side. None of the cons would stop me from coming here again. Plastic is accepted but there is an extra fee.

Scooter's Coffee delivers on speedy service and good lattes…read more I stopped here on the windy morning of May 19, 2026, with my daughter on our way to her doctor's appointment in Lubbock. This place is easy to find off the main street in the small town of Denver City, TX. The drive-thru was made more complicated than it needed to be. It makes you enter in front of the building then exit all the way around. Don't try to cut in where the order intercom is unless you're dying to mess up some concrete barriers. Service was friendly and fast. For $18.73, we enjoyed.... + medium iced Honeycomb latte (a bit too much ice for my liking) + small iced S'mores latte + Bacon & Gouda Omelet Bites

My Keurig is in storage at the moment, so I've been coming here. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the drinks are amazing. They have three sugar-free options, which is great for me and my husband, but I won't lie. I wish they had more but grateful they think of us, SF folks. Okay, this is where I get to confess... dun dun dunnn... I went twice yesterday. The first time in the morning for a tea in which I was greeted by Gloria (at least I think that was her name). She was an absolute treat to chat with. My son, age 3, likes to get in on the conversation, so he was yacking with her as well from the back seat. Fast forward, after running errands and on my way back home, I rolled back through the drive-thru, and my oldest son and I tried their SF Blended Carmelicious, which was rich and creamy. Then, to top it off, we were greeted by Beau, who was just as friendly as Gloria. So, if you're ever in Denver City or its surrounding areas, stop in for Scooter's.

It's a good thing I already knew what to expect to hear. Yes, I'll be using the mobile app. Now, how much coffee have you already had at just before 8:30 AM. The unhealthy breakfast of a Sausage Egg Biscuit with a slightly greasy hash brown and a medium iced vanilla coffee ($7.66) was fine. My issue was with the other youngster at the second drive-thru window. I could have easily just left since I had my meal, but she proceeded to tell me to wait then questioned her co-worker if I paid. Surely they have a better system or perhaps she was just a newbie... In all honesty, though, this location on the south side of Hobbs, NM, seems to be the best of the three.

Then our friend's dad who owned DD sponsored & coached our softball team when I was a kid. Then, after only a two months of my return as a resident to Hobbs in December 2022, Daylight closed their doors. Now under new ownership and in a brand new location in the North Central Plaza near Buffalo Wild Wings, Daylight is back in Hobbs America. If you want more frilly type donuts, you won't find them here. They offer the basic donuts that you can find at just about any ol' donut shop, however, I'm so glad that they taste like they used to when I was a kid. During the pandemic - and maybe it was because they knew they were going to shut down - their donuts started tasting too oily and a bit weird. Not so anymore! These donuts are light and fluffy and every sweet tooth's dream - very much on the sweet side! They just barely officially opened on Friday, June 27 2025, but they have already revised their opening hours and need to update the signage on their door. They are now closed on Sundays. Open the rest of the week from 4:30 AM until noon or are they sell out. Coffee & pigs-in-a-blanket are also available. Drive-thru is available. Welcome back to Hobbs, DD! They revived Jerry's grandmother Maude Pletcher's original recipe and "the family tradition of selling fried pies." There are currently numerous locations across Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and now Hobbs, NM. The Hobbs location is inside the brand new Swift Stop convenience store on the Lovington Highway. They have their on counter and glass cases on the north end of the building. These aren't pies in a tin pan. They're hand pies. So you can definitely eat them on the go. While I did not see any savory pies, they offer multiple flavors in the cream or sweet variety. They also have "no sugar added" options. And because the employees were no present when we were at the counter, we headed to the freezer section on the south end of the building. I opted for blackberry. My oldest daughter chose blueberry. My youngest gravitated towards vanilla. These are usually $3.99 fresh out of the oven or kept warm under the display, but I think because we got ours from the freezer they were $2 each. These beautifully prepared hand pies were perfectly cooked. Not greasy at all. For frozen pies, just stick them in the fridge the night before reheating. Cream pies won't go in the oven of course, but you could room temperature thaw them. I didn't do try that this time because pies tend to get soggy that way. For fruit pies, reheat them for 25-35 minutes at 350°F. My oven usually cooks everything too fast. Mine was ready at about 22 minutes. I can't wait to try pineapple pie next!
