We had to rip out some of our soffit to get them out, and in doing so left a big hole that squirrels and possum started getting into. So we wanted to fix that, as well as go around the entire house and caulk up any other little holes to prevent wasps from doing it again in the future, along with keeping other bugs out. I reached out to 10+ companies/contractors and quite a few wouldn't do it because it was too small of a project. Then only 2 of 5 of them came out the day they said they would. Of those two, only EMC understood exactly what I was asking for and even found a piece of rotting wood under a window that needed to be replaced (the other company said our siding looked great and didn't need any other repairs ). And when the quotes came in EMC was significantly less expensive despite doing more work, since the other company was only repairing the soffit while EMC repaired that, caulked areas all along the house that needed caulking, and replaced that piece of wood. After I paid the bill, they got me in their schedule quickly and kept me updated on any changes as the weather caused some delays. Once here, they got everything fixed in less than a day, painted and cleaned up, and gave reccs on what else needs updating soon. Overall they were extremely knowledgeable, did great work, easy to communicate with, and reasonably priced. Will definitely come back to them if we need help on our next project.

She promised that her crew would fix up any remaining touches, then was unresponsive when we told her there were a number of areas to clean up since they abandoned the job prematurely. 3. Her "business" (AKA "she") refuses to send invoices and accept debit or credit card payments because her bank holds her payments for 10 days, and she does not have funds to cover that period. That is not a customer issue, that is between her and her bank. 4. She abruptly decided to quit the job in one day. Then she pestered us about getting a cashier's check, using Venmo, Cash App, or whatever she could come up with, all of which do not make large transfers, nor were any of these set up as business accounts. My thoughts: 1. If you have been in business as long as you say you have, you should have your payment system organized, under control, and professionally set up. 2. Quitting a job in one day because you ran out of funds mid-way through, then not returning to fix the areas you botched, and not even responding to requests to cure your defects is incredibly unprofessional. The owner is rude, disorganized, unresponsive, and simply not a good person to work with. Her crew did a sub-par job as a result of her inability to manage funds properly. I had a roof replacement after it being damaged by hail. It was replaced and after several months during the rain season, the roof had a leak into my attic and it trickled down into my living room. I brought both parties out and ultimately they pointed fingers at each other for fault. I took pictures and video. They took their own pictures. I left a nice voicemail and the owner of Impero called me personally to apologize about the crappy work (I have pictures) of the seal job around an existing power box. He made comments that suggested his guys had some responsibility of the trashy work. I've made several attempts to coordinate both parties to get together and resolve this because both of them have been paid in full and I still have a leak. The owner hasn't responded to any of my texts since June of this year. It took a nasty email for another reaponse and now they're back to pointing fingera again and I have ZERO notice from eitber party. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If they make a mistake, they appear to put finished work on the back burner and don't care if my roof caves in.
