We were having our home built that was scheduled to be complete in February of 2020. This company…read moredid not follow through on their end and built our home with the wrong brick. This after they were informed by our realtor that the brick delivered was not the brick we had chosen. Rather than do their job and double check to make sure, the supervisor on site allowed the home to be built with the wrong brick. To compensate they offered to replace our trim paint with a color other than what we selected to match the brick we didn't select, and add 2000.00 in upgrades to the house when we already selected the interior upgrades we wanted (this compensation did not equate to the error they made). They refused to put additional sod in for the extra large lot and compensate with a privacy fence (which would equate to the error they made). Brick is NOT a minor mistake, it's a drastic error on their part that should not have occurred! Especially since they were forewarned. The buyer shouldn't be penalized or have to compromise for a builder's lack of ability to oversee a job and get it done right. Now they want our family to go through this process all over again with having another house built on a not so ideal lot (wanting us to initiate the termination of our contract to make it easier for them) & we don't trust this builder to get it done either way. They cut too many corners, don't own up to their mistakes, and are unapologetic to their buyers no matter how unfair of a situation their major errors place them in. What we thought would be our dream home has turned into months of excitement and anticipation for an unhappy ending. Both this company and their counterpart, John D. Bowen Construction have both deleted the concerns I addressed on their social media pages and blocked me from being able to post any further. They claimed to have not been the same company which in fact they are since both companies have the same exact addresses in their listings with the Better Business Bureau. They want me to take down all my reviews about our negative experience with their companies, but they don't want to fairly compensate a resolution for ordeal they created. Had they adequately done their job in a professional manner this would've never escalated to the point of me having to reach out publicly. Don't be disgruntled with the buyer, you have NO right to be! You're being paid to fulfill your contractual obligations. If you want to be upset with someone, be upset with the employees who work for your companies that didn't do the job as stated in the contract. They're the ones who caused your costly mistake as it's not difficult to check and check again. Don't expect the buyer to pay for your mistakes or be penalized as a result. This is unprofessional conduct by a business at it's finest.

He hung new drywall, taped, mudded, and left it with a clean level 5 finish. He also demoed parts of the exterior, installed new sheathing, and put up a vapor barrier--all done properly.
