What stands out most was Rick's accountability to the job and for the work of his crew. He was communicative, kept me informed throughout the job, and made absolutely sure any issues I had were addressed. Rick's team also tested every cable run with a Fluke tester and verified that each run was properly shielded and capable of 10 Gbps performance. They were also attentive to the smaller cosmetic detail requests, including cable color, outlet style, and the specific placement of wall jacks. I have attempted to contact Rick Ender regarding my payment, but my messages have gone unanswered. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that he has come to my other place of employment to get gas, so he has had opportunities to communicate with me, yet he has not provided me with a clear time or place to meet so I can receive the money I am owed. I left the company after being offered a better position, and since then, my interactions with Rick have been noticeably negative. In my experience, the company expects a high level of performance while offering relatively low pay of $17.25 per hour. The job itself also lacked basic resources and equipment that I expected a professional security company to provide. The contracts available were not particularly appealing, and there seemed to be ongoing staffing problems. Rick would complain about having to cover his own contracts because people didn't want to come to work. My biggest issue, however, is being owed wages and having difficulty getting a response about when I will actually be paid. Regardless of any disagreement over an employee leaving for another opportunity, employees should be paid for the work they have already completed. Based on my experience, I would recommend anyone considering working for this company to carefully consider these issues and make sure they understand the pay and employment arrangements before accepting a position.
