He told us that we should "split our exercises" and "don't train in such a big group" WHEN WE WERENT EVEN IN THE BIG GROUP, I only brought one friend and we were both using the rack. Overall, very rude, and a horrible experience, I would never recommend this gym to anyone.

However, perhaps because it is newer, Cassie Campbell is a little nicer. What I like about it is the giant glass walls that allow you to see outside. It really makes the place seem bigger and non-claustorphobic. The layout of the gym consists of all the workout equipment in the centre, and a track circling around, with the corners available for stretching exercises. Basically every piece of equipment one could need is here, and then some. The membership fees are reasonable. I bought a month pass which is only $40 if you are a student, otherwise its closer to $50. For a one time pass it's $7 for a student and closer to $10 if you are not a student. There are also a lot of other activities and classes since it's a community centre; however, I can only comment on the gym part since that's all I really used. If you are looking for a place to workout, I recommend at least trying out this gym, you might end up loving it. Warning, depending on which side you come from on Chinguacousy you may have to pull a U-Turn to get inside the parking lot lol. . . but bonus though, if you buy a pass to any Brampton city gym, you gain access to all their gyms.

Markham, where I live, also is a part of this region. I was finally eligible to book both my COVID-19 vaccination appointments. My options were to find a pharmacy that had vaccine appointments available, do a drive-thru shot clinic in Whitchurch-Stouffville, or come to a clinic set up at Trisan Centre. My options looked bleak at first. I was on the waiting list at three different pharmacies near me. All appointments at the drive-thru clinic in Whitchurch-Stouffville were booked. The clinic at Trisan Centre had lots of appointments available. I was so relieved! I booked both appointments online through York region's site and was good. I took half the day off from work to come here today. I was impressed by how organized and friendly all staff were. It was easy finding this place. I was first greeted by a woman who conducted triage with each car coming into the parking lot. I learned that there were two lineups: walk-ins and appointments. Since I fell into the appointments category, I was instructed to swing to the back left of the building and line up on the other side of the tent. The lineup that I saw speaking to the woman was the walk-in one. I headed into the lineup and waited. It was a gorgeous 20C outside. I had absorbed more vitamin D in line than I probably did all winter last year. While waiting, a female staff member asked me to fill out the King screening set of questions online. It was straightforward. When I finally got to the entrance, I spoke with a woman who found my name on her list after asking when my appointment was. She then asked me to walk through the doors. Another woman asked me to sanitize my hands. I then met up with a man who wanted to see my screening results. I was good. He pointed me over to a man who would take my health card information, ask a few more questions, and then gave me the nod to head inside the hockey arena that is now a vaccination clinic. It has been over a year since I have set foot in any hockey arena. It felt good. Trisan Centre is home to the Schomberg Cougars (minor hockey). The arena is pretty cool with plexiglass dividers in the seating areas. They may not make folks who are afraid of heights or something comfortable, but I liked the modern, open vibe that they gave. Everyone was nice and professional. I got to vaccine station 8 and had the nicest medical doctor, Wasan, who asked me some more screening questions. She then asked me which arm I wanted the vaccine and she did a wonderful job explaining everything to me as I got my shot. I sat in the observation area for fifteen minutes. I then headed to my car and headed home. I felt safe and great afterwards. Doors were open at the arena, so there was lots of ventilation. Hand sanitizer was everywhere. Chairs were constantly being sanitized. All precautions were being taken. It has been roughly seven hours since I had my shot. I don't have any soreness in my arm. I do have a dull, mild headache, which is a side effect and is nearly gone. I would love to check out a hockey game here when things are back to normal. In the meantime, Trisan Centre is a perfect vaccine clinic for York region. The drive was relaxing and I can finally say that I've been to Schomberg! (164)

The correct name of the place is "East Gwillimbury Sports Complex". I hope someone updates this…read more The complex is located in Sharon, which is part of East Gwillimbury. It's on the north site of Mt Albert just West of Woodbine. Two NHL-size rinks, one with a bunch of seats, the other with hardly any. In 2012, the complex has undergone a major reno and now feels fresh, bright, and modern. There is snack bar / coffee shop service Country Style coffee. It was really built as a true community centre. Hence there are MPR / meeting / banquet rooms that fit as many as 200 people for a business meeting or a familly party that can be rented for a reasonable amount. There is no free wifi there and cell phone reception is not the best either.

This is a bit of an older centre, but could still merit 4 stars since it has a few things going for…read moreit: a warm kiddie/family pool, squash courts, multipurpose rooms available to rent (and you can rent the pool itself for parties), and a few other things. But what bothers me about this place are some of the patrons, and the lack of action on behalf of staff. My son has been coming here for lessons a couple weeks now, and it's common to see several parents walking through the showers and onto the pool deck with outdoor shoes on. You can literally see dirty water form whenever someone does this, and that's going in the pool or what your showing amongst. It's sad that it's not common knowledge and practice for all people to avoid this, but the facility also has a responsibility to post signs and enforce these rules. Both times I've spoken with staff, they agree with me but never acknowledge that they will do something about it and try to pass responsibility. (I.e. "talk to someone else). It speaks to the culture of this particular centre, as there's other city run facilities which don't have this issue. Please Loafer's Lake: address this.

There are multiple parks and boating areas within the space they are each clearly labeled so its easy to meet up or give directions. I saw people swimming in the lake water for me its a no the waters arent that clear where people are allowed to swim and there was a lot of Canadian geese swimming in the area that people swim.
