**First Ride to Winter Bliss**…read more My first time snow tubing, and Chicopee Tube Park made it unforgettable. Visiting during the Christmas holidays added that perfect festive magic, with the crisp winter air, snow-dusted trees, and the kind of excitement that makes you feel like a kid again. The tubing lanes are wide, well-groomed, and just the right steepness to get your heart racing without feeling unsafe. I spent hours going down over and over, and every run delivered that perfect mix of thrill and laughter. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. The vibe at the park is cheerful and welcoming, with families, friends, and solo adventurers all sharing the same infectious energy. Hot drinks and cozy spots to rest in between rides made it easy to recharge before heading back up the lift. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be slightly more lifts or faster loading during peak holiday hours, as waits can build up when the park is busy. Still, the fun factor more than makes up for it. Chicopee Tube Park is a must-visit if you want a pure winter adventure, especially for first-timers looking to embrace the snow, laughter, and holiday spirit. I'll definitely be coming back next winter.

It's a pretty straightforward experience since during the winter, since they are simply a snow tubbing hill. It's a good-sized hill with clear lanes to go down. There's a moving belt that you stand on and bring your tube up with you to get up the hill. Beyond that, there's a surprisingly large chalet which seems like it could accommodate a larger ski hill. They also have snow machines which allows them to continue operating outside of normal snow levels, and that was certainly the case when I visited. I don't live in the area and had to drive a bit to get here, but it would be very convenient to anyone in the region since it's right in the middle of Kitchener off of the highway, and not having to go to a more remote area. It looks like in the the fair weather months they have a big zipline (or two?), and that could be a lot of fun as it was a pretty good length. They do everything they need to do to run a good tube park, so no complaints for me at all.

I came here not really knowing what to expect and I was very pleasantly surprised. The Round Table…read moreis a really unique place in Guelph (or really any city) with loads of table-top, board and card games to fit most preferences. It's a really great environment to try new games you might not otherwise have a chance to play. The 3 hours I spent there seemed to fly by. The owner/operators are very friendly and attentive. They've clearly poured a lot time and effort into making the aesthetics of the place a haven for geeks of all vices. The Arthurian theme permeates from the establishment title, to the faux stone wall interior and literal sword in the stone sitting in the center of the main room. Apparently a full kitchen with food and drinks is coming soon which is more than enough incentive to bring me back to Camelot. Personally, I'm hoping for an over-sized turkey leg and goblet of wine combo deal.

We missed our tee time but we joined a nice couple and played with them. Great way to practice and get a short game in. It's okay, not too challenging and kind of basic with not too many hazards and wasn't super interesting. I think that's the purpose just to get a quick practice. There are a couple of bigger courses here that my partner has played on and he said it was great. He would give the club 5 stars based on the bigger courses and facilities, but I'll give it 4 since I've only tried the academy course and it was just okay. The facilities are nice. For members, you can use the driving range and push carts for "free" well included in your membership rate. There's a locker room where you can take a shower, use their towels and get a stretch on and chill before your game. They also have a nice bistro with a lovely covered deck and live music on most Saturdays. Definitely wouldn't mind dining here if I'm in the area next time. I believe the bistro is for members only, but it looks like there is a non-member rate too.

The horses were kinda boring and there were no bisons. The whole horse area was kinda smelly (which is unsurprising haha) Checked out most of the trails: The creek one had way too many bugs so we turned back but it's was shady and quiet which was lovely. The lakeshore trail was very exposed to the sun which sucked but the scenery was lovely and there were a bunch of monarch butterflies.
