My family LOVED this place and I have seen the complaints about small enclosures but the animals are not always kept there, they are in the process of remodeling a second site that is much larger. These animals all seemed healthy and well cared for and we are major animal lovers in my family. I got our tickets off groupon and felt the price was great. We played mini golf and loved the artwork in there and we skipped the arcade and still spent 3 1/2 hours there with all the animals! I have a college age daughter who is majoring in Biology (to work with animals) and a teenage son and they LOVED IT!!! read more

Have taken the family many times. Friendly staff and many animals to see. I would recommend it if you're looking for an indoor activity.

You can't tell from the outside but it's got a lot to look at bigger than expected! Great friendly staff and a few of the animals they have are rescued! Loved seeing the tiger play in her pool with her ball! read more

The price from groupon was worth it. This is not a backyard animal zoo where animals roam free and unsupervised. These types of facilities are regulated and if not kept in line are shut down. We are animal lovers and what we noticed were caregivers who enjoyed their jobs and were taking care of the animals. Yes we would like to see bigger enclosures and hopefully that will happen. The animals are fed and get to relax and be admired. The dingos get pet and loved all day, they sure seemed happy to us. Can't wait to go next year!!! read more

I felt so bad for the poor animals here. Be prepared, when you walk in you will be hit with the stinky fish aroma that stays in your nose for days. The Anika's are in small enclosures/displays. The ones that you can pay extra to feed are aggressively after the food--when asked, the staff couldn't tell us how often the animals were fed. Made me wonder how they knew if the animals were getting all they were supposed to. You can pet a Dingo, feed small sharks, and pet stingrays. But honestly, afterwards it was a pretty danky place to visit. I would not recommend. We also got to play mini-golf there. It was set in a blacklit background with pirates everywhere and an occasional miserable looking real animal in an enclosure. read more

A little pricey. But my kids enjoyed everything. The mini golf, the aquarium was a lot of fun. Kids got to pet some animals that they never thought they would pet. Arcade was not much games but it was all free. My kids enjoyed it a lot. I woild recommend it for kids and adults. Me and my wife also enjoyed it. read more

They have a lot of cool reptiles. Many fish. They offer groupons and I had an employee act rude when we came back after they were closed for days. And our paper bracelet was removed like we should keep it on 3 days. A manager viewed the Groupon on my phone and all was good. Still. Don't like paying money and people arguing with me over what another employee told us. That said. There is a super sweet girl that works at the same desk. She will tell you about the mini golf you also payed for. Said guy won't. (We have been here 8 times I think) she told us about it two times. The other six the male did not. And we did not do it. The animals are cool. Especially if you like reptiles. You can pay $5 to feed stingrays. $5 sharks. $5 gators. We went in with the dingos a couple times too. Can't remember the cost. Might have been the same. They take cash for that stuff. Otherwise maybe you can go pay at the front register. I'd imagine they can swing that. Overall it's a cool place and not a bad price. Most of the employees are really nice. Fantastic even. Really I'd give it more stars if not for the heavy guy that works the front desk often. He has big time customer service issues and should find a new line of work. Who knows how many repeat customers he has prevented. read more

For the cost I did not think it was worth it. My little girl wanted to feed sharks. Well you don't really get to, and for $5 I did not think it was worth it. She was happy. But I would pass read more

Branson Wild World - Aquariums Near Me - Branson, Missouri

The enclosures were not big enough for the larger animals like the wolves and the large cat. I know it's not a zoo but I have been to animal sanctuaries before and the were bigger. The price was decent but I even hear people complaining about how the enclosures were not very nice. I wish I had gone to the drive through zoo. read more

The layout is not good at all and I was incredibly disappointed with the "aquarium" - it was more of a herpetarium. I wish we had known that there were far more snakes than fish. We would have spent our money elsewhere. Additionally, the fish tanks were cloudy and not well kept at all. The poor animals that were kept in this "zoo" had some of the poorest habitat conditions I have ever seen. We will definitely not be back. read more

For two adults and one child it was $72. They got an extra $3 from each of us to play mini golf, but after waking through the entire maze of exhibits there were way too many people not social distancing to go play put put. Some exhibits looked too small for the animals. My daughter even said it made her sad for them. We enjoyed seeing all the different species, but I can tell they are fed by people quite a bit, it looked like they were all begging for food at the glass. I think kids would really enjoy this. read more

This place was extremely sad. I wouldn't recommend anybody going here if they have a love for animals. Considering how the brochure look I figured it would be nice and clean. It wasn't. We paid $5 for my ten-year-old daughter to feed the sea turtle. We went back there I talked to the gentleman that was in charge of it and told her to put the the food between her fingers and the sea turtle will come up and eat it out of your fingers. Well that freaked her out and she didn't want to do it so my husband did. That sea turtle came up and damn near bit his finger off. Not the turtles fault at all. But the gentleman had told me before we got our food that he was just covering for somebody and was never back there. Luckily I got it all on video. I took the video up to the lady at front desk and showed the video to her of my husband getting his finger bit and she said the guy back there was supposed to put the food on a stick and the turtle would eat the food off of the stick. Really!!! Maybe they should do some better training. Luckily it wasn't my ten-year-old. We trusted that guy considering he worked there. read more

A couple friends and I checked this out over spring break, and were not impressed. The animals are in small enclosures with dirty water, and in OBVIOUS distress. At one point we heard the wolves howling and growling from across the aquarium and were actually worried about them getting out or something like that happening. The whole reason we went was because we heard that the singing dogs were really cool, but it was really $5 to go into a small cage with 8 dogs who ate the bottom of my jeans, and were continuously sprayed with water from the staff members. They do have a free arcade, however they are super old games and not a lot of fun to play, unless you pay extra for the newer games or attractions. Overall, the animals do not look healthy or happy, as we witnessed snakes in literal bus tubs and the alligators in enclosures that were as big as their bodies. This could be such a great aquarium (and zoo) but it's just not there yet. Also, if you buy the combo pass you'll have to drive 45 minutes to a separate location which is literally a wear-house in reed springs. The separate location zoo is even sketchier than the aquarium and is just not worth the money. If you go, just go to the aquarium, but neither location is really worth it, and you'd be better off driving an hour and going to the Dickerson park zoo or the Strafford one! read more

Where to start. It's a great place to just look at animals and fish and reptiles. Definitely better if you have kids. I don't recommend the aquarium on the boardwalk. This place does have a very different smell but you try to keep that many animals and make it smell better. Also, a lot of ppl said stuff abt the animals dying and not being happy well 3yrs later I went and they are doing just fine so I don't think they are dying. And also remember it is Branson so you can just build massive enclosure for all the animals. It's a great experience if you just wanna see animals and have a good time. Very hands on unlike the aquarium on the boardwalk. Overall they are great places. Just don't go and expect something super clean and smelling awesome cause it won't. Just have a open mind and ready to have fun and I think you will like it. Also you can go through it as many time as you want. Overall a great place. Just work on the smell. read more

Coming from an exotic owner, this place was poorly maintained for their animals. It was extremely sad to see most of the enclosures and tanks filthy. Most of the animals looked depressed and not taken care of at all. It would be a shame to have PETA come through and do a tour of the facility, because I can tell you right now this place is NOT up to code and needs to be either A. Ran by an individual that is well educated on their animals or B. Have the staff more attentive to the cleanliness of their animals enclosures. You can't expect your guests to have a good visit in the facility if the entire place is filthy and reeks of animal urine from lack of cleaning the enclosures as well as they should be done. This place needs to be overlooked for review of inspection or pushed to be closed until they are up to code. read more

This spot was not cheap. it is very humid and stinky inside. The wolves, dingos, and mountain lion enclosures are in humane in my opinion!! There was no fresh air for them or much room. skip this tourist spot!!! read more

This place made me feel horrible for the animals! The place was filthy! All the animals were lifeless... it seems like they have just given up. The wolves were cramped up in a small room... there's an electric eel that that is in a tank that he can't move in. The monkeys are in a tiny closet looking space... if you love animals avoid this place!! It's very expensive to see the mistreated animals! read more

Found a Groupon and decided to check it out. They had a nice selection of reptiles... snakes alligators, lizards, crocodiles. Good selection of fish too and random monkey, wolves and parrots. Free mini golf at the end so that gave it an extra star from me. But it's definitely not what I though it was going to be from the brochure I picked up at the store. read more

Efrain was amazing. He answered all my kids questions during our tour. We left with more wildlife knowledge than we had walking into wild world. Efrain gave us a little background about Wild World and what his role has been there. My daughter is 13 and has an interest in working with animals. Animals have always been her heart. This was absolutely an amazing experience for her and Efrain gave my daughter something more to think about in the world of animals. read more

This was a spot that I was really iffy on when I read the reviews but we visited Branson for my 6 year olds bday and he is a shark lover so we gave it a try. The staff were very helpful and nice we did not have one bad experience with any of them. The girl who ran the 5d ride was especially nice and fun! The arcade is ran down and most of the games didn't work but we didn't come for that aspect and it didn't cost extra so I wasn't worried about that and neither were my kids. All of the exhibits were clean and I did not see any animals who looked starved or harmed as some of the other reviews suggest. I will say that some of the animals that are rather large ie the sea turtle and the alligators I would say need larger areas as they need more room. Some of the animals that had areas in their tanks for water did look as though they needed their water replenished for these reasons I can't give it a 5star. The smell is exactly what you would expect it to smell like for a place that has an assortment of animals. We fed the sharks and the sea turtle and my kids loved doing that. The touch tank was pretty cool as well. We would visit again. read more

This place was like a big sad pet store. It was dimly lit and humid inside. The animals looked miserable. I felt bad for paying for a ticket b/c I supported these animals' sad life. The whole place was creepy. read more

Super disappointed with this place. I felt bad for having spent money to support the way they treat the animals. All of the reptiles and animals are kept in small and dirty habitats. It has water all over the floor and smells a bit like urine. There are many habitats that are empty and it definitely seems like maybe the animal died and they didn't bother to clean up afterwards. Branson has much more to offer than this establishment. Skip this one. read more

Good place to take the family. Enjoyed ourselves. If you have a chance to feed them. Do it's worth the experience. Lots to see. Staff very friendly and helpful. read more

Walked out crying. The wolves are crammed into a kennel, broke my heart. The tanks are dirty. It's over priced. Touch tanks have nothing.

Thisere are two locations for this business. The one out in west Branson is really depressing. It used to be Predator World and was quite good. This one is dirty and smelly. Lots of slow moving flies and mosquitoes. The lion looked toothless. There is no barrier but a short fence by the kangaroo. Just a sign warning it will bite. An ostrich did bite me when i was feeding it according to directions by zoo staff. A haunted house was really lame. Dark but not scary at all. I felt like turning the animals loose in a sanctuary so their lives would not be such misery. read more

Not at all what I was expecting. Like a big, dark fish or pet store and it's way over priced. While cost does include entry to the Wild Valley Adventure, that place is a dump too. Both places leave you wondering how they get away with keeping these animals in such small spaces. There is a neat stingray tank where you can get up close and personal with the stingrays but they make you pay extra to feed them. Don't waste your money and time when on a trip to Branson...take your family somewhere else. read more

Very interactive for kids. We were able to do so much! Kids loved it and fun for adults too! We recommend!

The wolf enclosure broke my heart not a way for them to live. They looked so lost and sad.

i highly recommend this wild world! this was the best day of my life, so fun and you get to feed animals and hold lemurs with us very awesome. reasonably priced !! read more

Absolutely horrible. $5 fee for anything other than walking through, and the walk-through fee is already $21. Tanks are dirty and not maintained very well, exhibits are too small for the amount of animals inside of the exhibit. People crowded back to back. They advertised being able to hold different types of reptiles and then you get there aaaaand you can't hold any of them. Waste of money and time. read more

The website is so much better than the actual attraction. Feeding and touching the sharks and stingrays are great. But the rest of it is a fail. The whole place smelled like dead fish. The "dingos" that aren't actually dingos look sickly and when you go into the room to let them, they don't even move when they are touched. The advertise holding them for pictures, but they tell you not to pick them up. The wolves are in a tiny fence and none of them look alive. Same with the cougar. Half of the animals they say they have on the website they don't actually have. The building is gross looking and the animals are just not properly taken care of. The staff wasn't able to answer any of our questions about the animals when asked either. read more

We were told to GET OUT after we paid our money (without a refund) because of my husbands service dog. They refused vet records showing that the dog has a clean bill of health. We were really excited to go until we were treated so RUDELY. There was nothing on their website nor on their building stating that service animals are not allowed. I would not recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to be treated horribly for no reason at all. Before anyone asks, the service dog was not acting out or anything we walked in to get our armbands since I paid online and after redeeming our vouchers was told to leave. l have never been treated so badly and not been given my money back immediately. read more

At first we thought this place was closed, but there were a lot of cars in the parking lot so we ventured in. The smell is something else and should have turned us back but animals do have an oder so we went on. It is sooo dark inside and now I know why, they don't clean it! Simple fix right? The amount of goo and dirt (hoping it was dirt) on everything was surprising! We turned on our phone light to read a sign and wish we hadn't :/ The workers are nice but I don't think any of them have any qualifications or education to be able to properly care for these animals. They are a bunch of teenagers that lean on the counter and chat rather than clean I'm guessing. Or feed the animals...there were several reptiles that were skin and bones and obviously malnourished. Sad to see so many mammals locked indoors. Would be really cool if it were an aquarium like it said. read more

it was a very fun experience in all but the conditions of the animals were awful. The mountain lion exhibit was just sad, no windows, just a small cube of space. The animals in general just didn't look very lively, i would say because of the small area they are given to roam. In my opinion i would say don't give your money to this place, supporting the treatment of these animals is just not okay. read more

None of the animals seemed happy, no enrichment, there's no way that places makes enough money to properly care for that many animals. There are super young people as "zookeepers" and had no proper credentials to care for animals. The guy breeds wolves at his house, dingos live in a tiny room. Rabbit, parrots, everything seemed miserable ! I hope this places goes out if business and the animals can be rescued omg read more

This place is so sad. Dimly lit, sparse enclosures. Every animal lived in an area that was way too small. Bunch of 18-20 year old kids working there. Didn't see a single person of authority. Aquarium was not well kept. Animals not taken care of. Some animals are in cages only twice their size. Many animals have scars on them.
