What we have found is that video production in particular involves so much more than just the right equipment. It is about coaching us so that we are comfortable talking on camera and interacting in a way that will give our clients a sense of what it will be to work with us. 3) Stephen delivers ahead of schedule every time. So far we have had two photo sessions and two video shoots. Each time he has delivered our rough drafts as soon as possible so that we have time to give feedback and get the final products by our deadlines. I wanted to do a surprise video for my Grandparents anniversary that past in July. I contacted Leo and told him what I wanted, how I wanted done, and when I needed it done by. On the day of our wedding, Ray was at our place bright and early, along with our photographer. He was able to work in conjunction with our photographer, to capture what they both needed, without being in our way. On the day of our wedding, there was so much to be done and so little time, so that was much appreciated. Ray came along to our outdoor photo shoot and again, collaborated with our photographer seamlessly. Throughout our ceremony and reception, he was everywhere. it was just so easy to work with Ray. Shortly after our wedding date, Ray and his partner came over again to show me a part of what they had thus far. I was very pleased with their work and the quality was beyond what I had expected. After just a few weeks, Ray emailed to let me know that our video was ready. We were so excited to see it! The first time we watched it, we couldn't stop laughing. Our wedding was quite comical and Ray's video did such a great job of showcasing that mood. Since then, we've had friends and family comment on that as well. The quality of the video, along with the quality of the sound (my husband is an audiophile) was above and beyond what we expected as well. He wanted to make sure he was capturing the moments that would make the final dvd fun and memorable. The resulting dvd was of very high quality and the shots taken were very nice. He was able to go to each table and have everyone say hi and take some artsy shots of the food/venue/guests as well. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this company to anyone because they are professional, polite, and willing to work within your budget (I ended up getting an unedited/raw footage version) and the end product is something you will surely enjoy! I'd consider their regular pricing as similar to what other videographers are going for so why should you choose these guys? Ray is very personable and interested in being as involved or as little involved as you want him to be in the videographing. He didn't get in the way of the performances but was still able to capture a nice angle. Hard to describe. haha. I was scared that the sound would be kind of horrible since it was all raw unedited footage and we had some singers/dancing going on, but the music didn't sound all static-y or muted like regular camcorders do. Since then, he's filmed two other weddings for people I know, and even though I wasn't even at those weddings, I still got really emotional watching their films. That's how good he is at telling the story of a wedding day. So when we finally had a date for our own wedding, Vinny was actually the first vendor I reached out to. I already knew that if there was one vendor I was willing to splurge on, it was going to be our videographer, because after the wedding is over, the video is one of the few things that lets you truly experience the day again. Vinny and his team captured our wedding weekend so beautifully. His edits are incredibly cinematic. I love the transitions, the drone shots, his signature ring shot, and especially the way he captures all of the little moments happening throughout the day. Your wedding goes by SO fast, and you can only be in one place at a time, so there were so many interactions and moments we either missed completely or didn't fully take in. Getting to see those afterward was one of my favorite parts of watching our films. And I really do mean films, because Vinny doesn't just send you a highlight reel and a bunch of footage. We received a 1-minute Instagram edit, a 10-minute feature film, a 2-hour documentary edit, AND all of the footage captured by his team. Each one gives us a different way to relive the wedding, and the amount of care and work that goes into putting everything together really shows. One of my favorite things is that the best friend whose wedding first introduced me to Vinny still watches her wedding video every year on her anniversary, now with her kids. I remember thinking about that when we booked him. I wanted something we'd actually want to watch again and again, not just footage we'd save somewhere and forget about. We absolutely love love love how our videos turned out.
