I debated whether I wanted a videographer for our wedding for quite a while. I didn't want to drop a ton of money on a short music video as a lot of other companies advertise because I preferred something less "cinematic"/was looking for more of a "documentary/authentic style" of the highlights and ceremony. Graham (Final Frame) was the perfect fit! He is very professional and readily available for any questions, etc. He has a quicker turnaround for the video which is a bonus, and I really liked that his presence was very subtle (doesn't feel like you're on a movie set with a ton of bulky equipment). He edited a wonderful video (documentary edit), and I feel like I really get to relive the wedding day, and I love that I get to re-watch all the speeches/special moments of us with our friends and family. We hired Graham for our videography in late 2019 for our June 2020 wedding, but then the pandemic hit and we had to postpone. Graham was incredibly supportive and flexible. Graham is very responsive and easy to work with. The day of our June 2021 wedding, Graham showed up on time and got right to work. You hardly even know he's there, which is exactly what we wanted from a videographer. He films "documentary style" and gets all the parts of the day that are such a blur to the bride and groom. My favorite thing about his style is the interviews he does with the bride and groom separately and the interviews he does with guests. I was the little girl who dreamed about having my wedding made into a music video and Graham did just that! My husband and I have watched our highlight reel a bajillion times and every time, we can't believe how well Graham captured the vibe of our wedding. We could not have found a more perfect person to capture our epic day! Trust me, I've looked at every videographer I could find in the Bay Area and every time I clicked on a video that started with panning over the venue into vows and slow music with people crying, I closed the tab because they all started to look the same. We wanted something different, something fun, something that didn't suck. Another thing that's different about Graham is his documentary edit which was about 2 hours long for our wedding. We hadn't originally planned to have video, but a couple of months before our wedding date we were persuaded by some friends who had recently gotten married that they were glad they sprung for it and that it would be worth the investment. So we began our search for Bay Area videographers that were in our price range and available for our date (it turns out there were several, apparently wedding videography is usually one of the last things couples book). But we also wanted someone we would be comfortable working with and whose work we really liked. We did a lot of research on tons of Bay Area videographers, contacted maybe half a dozen of them, and ended up speaking with three over the phone before we decided to go with Final Frame. Graham seemed the most detail-oriented and experienced, had shot at our venue before. We also really liked his work, and his stellar reviews won us over in the end. We are incredibly happy with the result and so glad we hired Graham! We ended up going with the documentary edit, which gave us 3 hours of beautifully shot and lightly edited high quality video to memorialize our wedding day. Beyond all of the basics (ceremony, first dance, speeches, etc) Graham also captured tons of special little moments between us, as well as with our families and friends, and even interviewed our wedding guests for the video. When searching for a videographer, I wanted a cool highlight reel of my wedding. But after hearing about Graham, we started watching some of his videos and really liked his style of shooting weddings. After meeting with Graham and learning more about his philosophies on shooting wedding videos, we decided to make the plunge and go with Graham. Overall, there aren't enough words to say that would do justice on how great it was to work with Graham. He was very quick to answer any e-mails or questions as the wedding approached. His communication and planning were spot on and was able to move around seamlessly in our crowded wedding. After a while, Graham did his job so well that we almost forgot that he was capturing every moment. As for the video itself, it captured everything great about our day. We went with the documentary edit, which gave us 4.5 hours of our 12+ hour day. Besides capturing the usual necessities of the wedding, Graham caught a ton of the little things that made it enjoyable to watch. For example: some interviews from our wedding guests, random candid moments of our guests, and even random people in the background doing the funniest things. Everything was in high quality video and sound....so high quality, Graham captured all my heavy breathing due to my nerves haha. With that said, the documentary edit may not be for everyone. We hired Graham for our wedding in April. I had been unsure whether I wanted a videographer or not. Then I saw a clip of his work on Facebook, I really like what I saw. My project team was requested to submit a 5-to-7-minute long video about our work process, including a 5-minute interview and some silent scenes of daily work. None of our team members know how to produce such a video. Other than a couple of interview questions, there was no script or preparation from my end. Graham came to our office as scheduled, set up his equipment, spent about 1 hour shooting the interview, then another hour while we were doing our design meeting. After the shooting, I did not give him much instruction other than that, as he sees fit, he can intersperse design meeting scenes in the interview because I thought the interview scenes can be boring to watch. I was totally amazed when the draft edit came back. Graham weaved the interviews and design meetings like a 60-minute report. He reorganized the footages from two interviewees and from the meeting so they became one coherent story. From his edits I can tell that he totally understood what we were talking about. I do not know what he did to the raw footage - but, our cloudy-day meeting looked quite cheerful and bright. His images are warm and well composed. He pays attention to small details that, from his lens, the images are real but clean. On top of that, Graham is quick in response. From the time I contacted him to finish the final video, it only took him one week. If we subtract the weekends and the three days of contract negotiation, he only had two days. My wife and I never thought we would be able to fit a videographer into our wedding budget. But when I came across Final Frame on Yelp the raw footage option seemed too good to pass up. Graham videotaped our May 2010 wedding at the Brazilian Room in Berkeley. The entire day was a blur. So we were chomping at the bit to get our video. About 5 weeks later we received our 2 HD quality wide screen format DVDs. The final product blew us away. We went with the raw footage option but you can tell Graham did a significant amount of editing to keep the video interesting. So we're watching video of our ceremony and we see this guy quickly walking by in the background with a video camera. WOA is that Graham?? And if it is who's videotaping our wedding? We had to rewind it 2 or 3 times but it was Graham!!! We didn't know it at the time, nor was it mentioned in our meeting, but he had a second stationary camera videotaping our event. Initially we were a little disappointed because we had people compose and read magnetic poetry for their meal and there was very little footage of this in the DVDs we received . BAM!!! once again Graham to the rescue. Though he was eating at the time his stationary camera caught it all and he sent us out a bonus DVD that we received within a week! It was priceless to be able to look back on the events of the day. To see everything that was going on behind the scenes. I was 20 minutes late getting there because we were taking photos before the ceremony. Needless to say my bride was a little perturbed. Thanks to the power video I discovered she was also late! I have only one thing to say with Graham's work for our wedding and that is "Incredible"! We finally downloaded our pre-edited footage and it was unbelievably stunning. First of all his use of the Canon C300 produced incredibly warm, rich natural, very filmic look to the day. The sound was incredible and the look of the footage felt as if I was floating around and observing all the incredible moments of the day. Kudos to his team for doing such a great pre-edit. There were no wasted moments. We had 2.5 hours of incredible memories. My husband and I picked Graham because we found that he was the type of Videographer that was not trying to sell you his most expensive package. Before meeting graham we have met with several vendors and most of the time they market the most expensive package. With graham his packages were reasonable and we picked the $1800 package because it gave us what we want and we can do what we want with the footage. During the planning process, he was very responsive in his emails and easy going. We did a skype conference the week of the wedding to go over our time line and key people. He was on time and what else can I say? He delivers what he promise. After the wedding he gave me an estimate time of arrival of the product which I like! He had many weddings booked during the summer and even though he got it to us later I like how he communicate to his clients about the delay. We are so grateful that Graham shot our wedding at the Brazilian Room in Berkeley, CA. Lucky for us, Graham is very familiar with the venue and the surrounding area since he has shot there many times before. He is professional and unobtrusive, allowing everyone to be themselves and for the genuine emotions of the day to emerge. It's amazing how much he was able to capture for just one person. Graham captured all the ceremony, toasts, dances, cake cutting in their entirety. It was great to re-watch all of it and relive the day from the perspective of the guests. Well, yelp, this was the one of the few times that I put my whole faith in you and you didn't fail me. Let me start of with... WE DIDN'T MEET GRAHAM KING UNTIL THE DAY OF OUR WEDDING. We knew that we wanted a videographer for our wedding day because it's different - videos capture all the sounds that photos simply just can't do. We wanted to hear everything - every word spoken, every voice captured on one of the important days of our lives. And we knew that the only way to do this is to find a great videographer who can record every little moment down. I love looking at wedding highlights on vimeo and youtube and I knew there was a certain style that would be perfect for my husband and I. We wanted a mixture of actual spoken words but also just music as background for different scenes. I came across Graham King at Final Frame through yelp. I was just searching for a videographer who had good reviews and when I looked through his wedding portfolio on his website and on vimeo account, I knew that Graham was going to do a great job capturing our wedding day. First off - he's a ONE MAN, STAND ALONE DO IT ALL kind of guy. He literally just has one camera and himself. And guess what - that's ALL you need. We didn't meet Graham at all - he replied quickly to my inquiry, we had a few email exchanges and had one phone call to go over logistics. Paid the deposit and just checked off "find videographer" on our list of things to do. Looking back, it seems kind of silly to just trust someone that you haven't even got to meet in person and just hand them the deposit expecting that they will show up on your wedding day and hope it all works out. But we were lucky because Graham King is reliable and trustworthy - 11 months later, he showed up at our door right on the dot. He was with us all the way at four locations (my parents' house, my in law's house, the ceremony location and the reception location) for 12 hours. The most important thing is that you can tell Graham really cares about his work. At the end of our reception when it was time for dancing, my husband and I were still going table to table toasting and he came up to us to say "I have to leave in like 5 minutes, but I really want to capture you two dancing on the dance floor with your family and friends for the video!" and we are SO glad that he did because when we watched the clips later, we were reliving that moment on the dance floor with our family and friends. My (new) hubby and I just received our documentary edit from Graham of our wedding and we could not be happier with the results! He is a one man show and during our wedding we barely noticed he was even there! You can hear on some parts of the video when the groomsmen say "oh shoot, forgot Graham was there! We better behave!". First off, I just want to say that finding a good quality videographer that actually knows what he's doing technically and artistically is very hard to find. As a profesional video producer and editor, it was very difficult trusting and finding someone--knowing I can shoot and do the exact same thing for half the price. But after 20 or so videographers, Graham's work stood out to me. He keeps the shots clean, simple and nails it on exposure. He shot my wedding with the Canon C300 and I cannot be any happier with the footage. Exposure is KEY. It was well lit, sharp and beautifully exposed, unlike the other videographers that claim they know how to shoot and get away with crappy and grainy footage! Be smart guys, KNOW that exposure is KEY. It doesn't matter how fancy or cinematic the shot looks, if you can't get the right exposure you're wasting your money. So keep that in mind. My husband and I got married in Novato back in October 2018 and hired Graham to document our special day. We were lucky to have worked with an amazing team of vendors--everybody was wonderful! With that said, one thing that I must say about Graham is that he was THE most on-time vendor out of all. He is also very professional and knowledgeable about filming weddings. The day was extremely busy, but I did not have to worry about Graham because he'd communicated with the DJ beforehand and was familiar with the venue. It was such a relief to know that we can just enjoy the day and trust our videographer to document the important moments. The process: Not only was he professional, but he was also very punctual. I visited his website and sent an email to inquire about his services. I received a response the very next morning to set up an in-person meeting at his home office. We had the option to do a phone interview, but my husband and I wanted to meet him in person to get a better sense of his personality and style. When we arrived at his home, we were happy to find that he's also a family man. He was prepared for the meeting and walked us through the process. He talked about the timeline, lighting, sound, etc. We decided to hire him right then and he emailed us a contract. We paid a 50% deposit as a retainer and to save the date, then the balance on the day-of. We were promised a delivery date exactly 2 months after the wedding and he sent follow-up emails after that to assure us that it will arrive by December. He sent us instructions on how to download the video properly and made it super easy! The product: We are so glad that we hired Graham! We asked for drone coverage and he delivered that! We LOVED the "interviews". If you are thinking of hiring him and he asks if you want him to conduct interviews with the wedding guests during the cocktail hour, do it! You won't regret it! We had no idea who he interviewed and what they said. When we got the video, we were laughing and crying at the responses. (Some of our guests even sang to us!) In addition to that, my mother-in-law fell during the Mother and Son dance. We asked if he could possibly edit that out in the video and transition it seamlessly. We knew that it would add extra work, but he did it without hesitation. If you are worried about the sound, don't be. I've been to a lot of outdoor ceremonies where you can barely hear the bride and groom when they speak. On top of that, you hear a lot of interference with the microphone. That was not the case with our video even though our ceremony was outdoors and it was very windy that day. The sound was amazingly clear! Graham was the one who clipped the microphone onto my husband's lapel and it was enough for it to amplify the sound for both him and I during the readings. His equipment was superb. My father-in-law teaches Audio/Visual (for concerts) at UC Davis and when he watched the video, he was impressed with the sound. Graham definitely has a can-do attitude and will make things happen. This review is long overdue! (Sorry, Graham). Graham covered our wedding in May this year, and while we hadn't originally planned a video, I'm so happy we decided to secure his services for the big day. Watching the video and looking back, there were so many wonderful memories he captured that my and husband wouldn't have been able to take in all by ourselves. Graham was wonderful to work with. He got along great with our photographers, and was totally incognito throughout the day. He is a total professional and very talented - his edits to the end result are simply beautiful. Graham King is a genius behind the videocam. I got married in June 2013 at Chateau St. Jean in Sonoma, and while planning, hiring a videographer was an afterthought. Once I realized I needed a videographer (after talking to enough brides - and they were all 100% right), I scrambled to find anyone in my budget. Thank goodness I came across Graham. Thank you Yelpers! Graham was graceful behind the scenes, worked seamlessly with our photographers, was responsive and hard working. And the final product (we got the raw footage option) knocked our socks off. Gorgeous shots, amazing audio & super easy to pare down into a highlight reel with iMovie.
