My husband and I got married in Novato back in October 2018 and hired Graham to document our special day. We were lucky to have worked with an amazing team of vendors--everybody was wonderful! With that said, one thing that I must say about Graham is that he was THE most on-time vendor out of all. He is also very professional and knowledgeable about filming weddings. The day was extremely busy, but I did not have to worry about Graham because he'd communicated with the DJ beforehand and was familiar with the venue. It was such a relief to know that we can just enjoy the day and trust our videographer to document the important moments. The process: Not only was he professional, but he was also very punctual. I visited his website and sent an email to inquire about his services. I received a response the very next morning to set up an in-person meeting at his home office. We had the option to do a phone interview, but my husband and I wanted to meet him in person to get a better sense of his personality and style. When we arrived at his home, we were happy to find that he's also a family man. He was prepared for the meeting and walked us through the process. He talked about the timeline, lighting, sound, etc. We decided to hire him right then and he emailed us a contract. We paid a 50% deposit as a retainer and to save the date, then the balance on the day-of. We were promised a delivery date exactly 2 months after the wedding and he sent follow-up emails after that to assure us that it will arrive by December. He sent us instructions on how to download the video properly and made it super easy! The product: We are so glad that we hired Graham! We asked for drone coverage and he delivered that! We LOVED the "interviews". If you are thinking of hiring him and he asks if you want him to conduct interviews with the wedding guests during the cocktail hour, do it! You won't regret it! We had no idea who he interviewed and what they said. When we got the video, we were laughing and crying at the responses. (Some of our guests even sang to us!) In addition to that, my mother-in-law fell during the Mother and Son dance. We asked if he could possibly edit that out in the video and transition it seamlessly. We knew that it would add extra work, but he did it without hesitation. If you are worried about the sound, don't be. I've been to a lot of outdoor ceremonies where you can barely hear the bride and groom when they speak. On top of that, you hear a lot of interference with the microphone. That was not the case with our video even though our ceremony was outdoors and it was very windy that day. The sound was amazingly clear! Graham was the one who clipped the microphone onto my husband's lapel and it was enough for it to amplify the sound for both him and I during the readings. His equipment was superb. My father-in-law teaches Audio/Visual (for concerts) at UC Davis and when he watched the video, he was impressed with the sound. Graham definitely has a can-do attitude and will make things happen. We were looking for a videographer who shot videos that captured the entire day, and not just short clips put together. After some searching on the internet, we found Graham. He invited us to his home to talk and go look over his work. He was exactly what we wanted. We were even more satisfied and impressed when he saw him working in person. He is a one-man show, but was able to capture all of the great moments in our wedding. We received our video quickly and love it so much! He met with us in advance to identify the best filming set-up. On the day of the shoot, he did an excellent job of capturing the action without being at all intrusive in the proceedings. Graham is very professional and does really good work, at the quality level of videographers who charge a lot more. Even our unedited raw footage looked awesome, and we were really happy with the highlights video. He recommended a song for the highlights video that fit much better than the songs we selected. My only complaint is that it took longer than 8 weeks, but to make up for the delay, Graham didn't charge us for the extra DVDs we requested for our parents. Graham shot my wedding up in Napa in early Sept 2009 and did a great job. We hired him because we wanted raw footage only, HD quality, and affordability. And we got so much for what we paid! Videography was the last vendor we booked for our July wedding. It wasn't a priority and thought we could live without it, but are so glad we went with our gut. Graham was the only videographer we considered and it all worked out perfectly. Before our wedding, we met to just go over simple details Much of our correspondence was via email. I wasn't quite sure what to expect and didn't know what questions to ask, but it all worked out because Graham seriously makes it EASY. We had nothing to worry about. Graham is a very professional and talented journalistic videographer! I first met Graham when we worked together at a TV station in Oakland about 15 years ago, so I already knew he knows what he's doing and can provide quality work. My (now) husband is also very keen on photography and videography, so when he loved Graham's online portfolio as much as I did, we asked Graham some questions and selected him to be our videographer instantly! Fortunately, he was available for our wedding date in June 2017, so we booked him a year in advance :) He was very professional and straight forward in the booking process and the next steps. Fast forward to about a month before our wedding, Graham was on point in following up with us on what we wanted him to capture on our big day, if we wanted him to interview and record our guests, the wedding day timeline, and the contact info of our DJ, whom he privately contacted to ensure that the ceremony audio was recorded and that the mics were set up. Additionally, he gave us encouraging words and shared his excitement, which was very sweet. On the day of, he arrived at the hotel promptly, where my bridesmaids and I were getting our hair and makeup done, along with where we did some wedding games before the first look. He also worked well with my photographer and photographer's assistant, whom were there concurrently, along with my bridesmaids. He joined us for a bit when we had photoshoot outside of John's Ice Cream in Berkeley, then briefly on our walk to Cal campus. To make the best use of his 8 hours with us, he offered to have a break between our pre-wedding photo shoot and the ceremony/reception, which we appreciated! Graham is amazing! Before the wedding: We reached out to Graham through his website and exchanged a few quick emails. Graham suggested for us to have a call to talk thru how I envisioned my wedding day and what we wanted in my video. It was really easy to talk to Graham and he was very patient in answering ALL my questions! I haven't even seen my wedding video yet, as my wedding was just a few weeks ago! But I had to share my amazing experience with Graham. He was so easy to work with, he worked flawlessly with my photographer, and he provided all day coverage. The second I watched some of his videos, I knew he was the perfect guy to film our wedding. And I was right. Every time I turned around he was in a different place, shooting different angles, getting all of the action. But he was also very unobtrusive - he fit in and you didn't notice him that much - never in the way or in your face. I had to convince my fiance to hire a videographer, and even without seeing the footage, after our experience with Graham, he said it was the best money we spend on the wedding! Not sure what I am going to add (people, look at the reviews below. After reading those, you should be running to hire Graham and FFS), but here goes: Graham shot my wedding reception in June 2011 at a hotel in San Jose (around 250 guests). ** The price: incredibly fair for what you get. There may be cheaper videographers, but for the quality, length, detail, final product, no chance you are getting a better value than with Final Frame. ** The product: Graham delivered such a professional, well shot video. It was funny and charming, and I could not think of 1 single thing missing from it that I wanted in it. ** The guy: Graham is super nice, friendly, easy to work with. Only knock I can think of, if I had to be picky, is that he can be a bit slow on emails, but then again, I tend to reply instantaneously and often expect the same. ** The timing: wedding in mid June. It makes for a better quality film when your videographer is non-invasive, guests like him, and he himself looks like he is very happy to be there. We were impressed Graham's work in shooting a friend's wedding and were ecstatic when we found he was available for our wedding day. All of the footage was clean, well-lit and steady. And he did an amazing job isolating the wind noise from the audio so that everything could be heard. Graham did a fantastic job capturing all the parts of the wedding that we weren't there to see. The best parts were the interviews he managed to coax out of family and friends. Last night I met up with a close girlfriend who is recently engaged. Being a newlywed myself, we started talking wedding planning process and she asked what my one piece of advice would be. So I told her, without question to invest in a great videographer. After 9 months of hard work, the big day arrived and it was everything we had imagined and so much more. Graham is incredible! I hired him to shoot a few business videos for me - a main introduction to my business, and some short product highlights. I couldn't believe the quality of the video - I've tried to do this myself, so I can appreciate what a big difference it makes! I initially felt awkward watching myself talk on video - but once Graham started doing his magic, I was thrilled! The music and cutaways he did were SO professional. By the end of it, I wanted to buy my own products. :-P Plus, the turnaround time was amazing. The entire thing was done in four hours, editing and all - and the videos were waiting in my email inbox by the time I got home. We had been searching for a videographer for a couple months when we came across Graham at Final Frame Studios. After watching his documentary edits online, we realized it was exactly what we were looking for. Graham did an excellent job capturing the moments we wanted to remember most about our wedding day.
