Even if you were lucky to get an appt., the chances of seeing someone that wasn't a doctor was slim. Luckily, Prairie Pediatrics is nearby and seems to have better availability. The best part is that you always see Dr. Auster. She is kind, compassionate, and truly loves what she does. We are so grateful for her expertise and care and highly recommend anyone who is looking for a pediatrician. Just trust me and give her a chance. Your children cannot be in better care!

Unfortunately the office policies directed by the owner of the company may cause my wife her job. Our 18 month daughter was given a diagnosis of hand foot and mouth from a medical assistant via phone consultation. We were told to keep our daughter out of daycare until the blisters had scabbed over, which took 8 days. This direction was provided by the Medical Assistant in the form of an unofficial letter. My wife relied on Colorado FAMLI insurance to cover the week off of work required to care for our daughter while she allowed the illness to run its course. Now when my wife is trying to complete the claim with CO FAMLI coverage they are asking for a different letter from Premier Pediatrics and they are refusing to provide one.l covering the entire recovery time. As it was rudely indicated by Krystal at Premier 7/9 at 4:40 pm, it turns out the director Dr. Campbell doesn't see hand foot and mouth as requiring more than 2-3 days of recovery. Now my wife is on notice at work because of incomplete information provided by the office staff and Medical Assistant in the original letter provided. This could cause my wife to be terminated from her job.

And he channels his ideas and recommendations within the value boundaries of his patients without compromising his medical analyses or his solutions. Beyond medicine, he also advises on lifestyle changes that a patient can make to enhance their health. As a result, I have improved on a variety of personal health metrics ranging from my Ac1 score to my inflammation levels to even my heart parameters. He has great bedside manner and explains the "what's and why's" which is very helpful to us as new parents (especially for my husband). We have also seen Jordan, PA-C and his nurse Megan who were amazing and got us through our first ear infection. They both called to check on us over a holiday weekend and answered questions we had about additional problems that arose from the antibiotics. We felt supported and knew our baby was in great hands. I have to fire Colorado Kids Pediatrics. My son has had iron deficiency anemia for *three years*…read moreand they never wondered why it wasn't getting better, even after oral supplementation. He's a super compliant kid, too - he took the pills. I was the one who had to ask for a hematology referral because they didn't ask themselves why an otherwise healthy BOY (not menstruating) would be iron deficient. He also had an elevated liver enzyme lab in February. There was no recommendation for follow up, so again, I had to have them order a repeat test to see if there was a trend. It took *6 phone calls* for them to put the order in correctly. The lab resulted with another elevated ALT. This is a meaningful indicator that he could have NAFLD, a totally treatable liver condition...if it's recognized. You bet your bottom I'm not going to follow up with Colorado Kids Pediatrics. I'd just have to tell them what the next steps are and what labs to put in. I'm so mad; why aren't they able to do their job? If I wasn't a provider myself, he wouldn't be getting appropriate treatment for his iron deficiency and the elevated ALT would have gone unnoticed.

I am extremely disappointed with the care my child received at this office. My baby had a…read morepersistent cough for six weeks that progressively got worse. I brought her in THREE separate times because I knew something wasn't right. Each time, my concerns were dismissed and I was told to just use Tylenol, a humidifier, saline drops, and suction. I followed all of those instructions consistently, and my baby did not improve, in fact she got worse. Yesterday, her condition escalated to the point where she was very drowsy and had a fever of 103°F. I had no choice but to rush her to the ER. There, they immediately took the situation seriously, performed an X-ray, and diagnosed her with pneumonia. This is incredibly frustrating and upsetting because this could have been caught earlier if the pediatrician had listened to me and taken my concerns seriously. Instead, my child's condition worsened to the point of needing emergency care and additional testing. No parent should feel dismissed when advocating for their sick child. I will not be returning to this office and would not recommend it to others based on my experience.

We managed to get in here for quickly when my son's pediatric clinic closed unexpectedly. The clinic is quite new and very modern and clean. The administrative staff were a little frosty, but the nurse we saw was kind and caring. We're very happy to have SCL Health as a reliable backup now that our pediatrician has ghosted us all.
