I called this dentist office to get a 2nd opinion under my insurance who is contracted with this office. After taking down all my information they informed me that I would have to SWITCH from my current dentist to their office in order to get the 2nd opinion or pay for it out of pocket. I assured them I did not have to do this. They also required tests, x-rays, etc "to give an adequate opinion". I called my insurance who called them. What do you know, I did NOT have to switch to them and I do NOT have to have more x-rays done. However, miraculously, when my insurance called them they no longer had openings (due to covid, what a crock) for another patient and so declined to take me. What a scam dentist office to try to drum up new business by making someone switch to them. They contract with insurance to make money but don't want to play by the insurance rules. Took almost an hour of my time dealing with these clowns. I would NEVER go to this dentist! read more
