Maybe I came on an off day but I thought the food and drinks were awful. We sat outside and I think they were definitely short staffed everyone working seemed so frazzled and busy, but they were still friendly (most of them). I ordered the "starting 5 BLT" from the NY Liberty menu and it was awful. Sloppy and not in a good way. No sauce, bacon full of fat and the bun was way too thick for such a small piece of chicken. When I was done with the sandwich, there was a bunch of bun still left on my plate from what had broken off as I was eating. I upgraded to onion rings and they were disgusting. They were served in a pool of brown grease, tasted in grease and just awful. 2 others at the table tried them and agreed how bad they were and they were served with some watery white sauce. I sent them back for fries which were good. Drinks were not very good but cheap. Again, maybe I came on an off day but I don't think I'd return.

Everything about this neighborhood queer ally space is notable. Friendly service with the best drag shows and karaoke in Brooklyn. The food is delicious but that tops off the great vibes. Worthy of becoming a regular. Giardia the Parasite and Matzah Belle Soup with Ivory Snow for Ru Paul Finale was packed energy high.

This was maybe my second time at Branded Saloon and the service is always amazing! I can only describe the vibe as "Trader Joe's". The staff go out of their way to accommodate, everyone's upbeat and it's dog friendly. They offered my friend's dog water & they were giving out compliments/could tell loved dogs. Now, the steak and eggs was delicious. No notes- super filling and yummy. The French 75 was good as well and they offered us a complimentary spiked cider when I couldn't decide between the two. I love when the staff are just happy to make you happy so my friend date continued on Splendidly. Now, the venue itself has a wooden, cabin style feel. inside is super quirky with drag queen photos, upstairs and downstairs area, and rainbow flags. A great safe space.

Patrick and Veronica was our servers and host for NYE and let me tell you, THEIR SERVICES WAS IMPECCABLE!! We got here before the crowd and still, they will passed by our booth to asked if we needed anything. The food: Wings were delicious, not dry and super crunchy. Patrick told us that the owner made the food this fine New Year's Eve and let me tell you, those wings hit the spot. Fries were THICCC and well seasoned. As you can see the pictures I have attached to this review, a hefty portion to fill your carbs needs to you know...DRINK MORE!! Their prices is pretty affordable around these neighborhoods and I'm definitely coming back here when I visit NYC. Love the music, giving up a club feel and great vibes. Theres dance floor downstairs and in the back of the place. We sat in the front where the booth is and music is still popping. Thank you Patrick and Veronica!! Y'all the best and thank you for having us ! Until next time, keep it up and we'll see you soon!

Really fun drink spot with a wacky and bright, colorful vibe that you just do not expect walking in! They turned a very dark and rustic aesthetic place into a vibrant brunch bar with a variety of tasty options as well as amazing music, drag shows, and karaoke! I came by for a few drinks today and had an absolute blast. The staff was friendly and attentive and so fast to get us our orders! I cannot wait to come back for brunch very soon and try out their food!

Grabbed food and drink here after a reading at unnameable books. Server was great. Loved the brussels sprouts. Don't understand why we were charged for ice.

The service was 100% impeccable. We would not have stopped accepting Patrick's showmanship. All Staff were friendly, accommodating, and completely pleasant on a rainy summer Saturday afternoon. Frozen and frozen pina colleagues must orders.

This spot is down the block from my favorite tea restaurant, and the first time I stopped by, I was just killing time. Best decision ever! The staff is enthusiastic, friendly, funny, and just a pleasure to be around. I went around Halloween, and the place was nicely decorated, giving a cool holiday vibe. The drinks are beyond excellent! Tasty with a nice punch and seasonal: I was able to get a nice hot cocktail on a cold, rainy day. Sidenote, why is it so hard to get hot drinks at other pubs all of a sudden? In addition to great drinks, they also have a nice menu with tasty dishes, including dessert. I definitely plan to be a regular!

I stumbled on this gem, funnily enough as I was waiting for a Tea party reservation down the street on a rainy day. We just popped in to get out of the rain. What a find! I cannot rave enough about the waitstaff! So funny! So welcoming! So knowledgeable about the menu. Honestly it felt like I was hanging with a friend! The food is amazing and the drinks are to die for! I was actually surprised at how diverse a food and drink menu they have. The restrooms are clean and spacious. What else do you need to know? Belly up to the bar!

Unfortunately this place fell very flat. Leading with what we liked: Their mocktail offerings were good, promising a 0.0% ABV which is hard to come across when mocktails are offered. They serve oysters, which adds to that aphrodisiac experience of the oh so 'wow this is a former brothel!'. The bartenders and servers were fast and very sociable with the more sociable customers. The immediate entrance is very tight, and it was uncomfortable navigating the space. We expected there'd be more seating in the back, which there was, but it was limited and not offered to us until we asked for it. We honestly had no clue where it would be and only asked because of how this place was advertised. While it was comfy once we made our way back there, it was reminiscent of a lounge style bar space that almost any bar could replicate with the right room and budget. We didn't feel as though this hit the spot and were let down by this experience. I'm not sure if I can judge the menu of drinks/ foods as expensive, but we left hungry bc we couldn't justify some of the prices. In addition, I've seen a lot of complaints about the volume of the music: it's definitely loud at the front but a lot lower in that back lounge space. It's as loud as any bar's music level would be, but truth be told we were expecting music that matched the vibe of what was advertised and yes, at a lower volume.

The stars finally aligned this winter and I had the opportunity to try it out. The vibes are perfect. Fog and bubbles, sea noises and all of the art go together seemlessly. Drinks were great. We had three and left suitably sloshed for the night with no aftereffects. We didn't have too many bites but the food was very good for a bar. I'm excited to go back and I hope we have just as much luck getting in next time.

All the drinks keep with the tropical, fruity taste with a hint of spice. They are also broken up into categories (dry land = no alcohol, shallows = average amount of alcohol, and abyss (larger amounts of alcohol). The abyss section has some cocktails that are limited to two per customer. They have some bar bites like fried green tomatoes, shrimp toast, broiled oysters, ricotta, dumplings, sliders. I had the French fries with kimchi ranch, which were underwhelming. Bartenders were cool and kept the drinks coming. I got in immediately without an issue or a wait, but it was right after a snowstorm. I've seen some people struggle to get in or have a long wait.

I've been to this cocktail bar regrettably only twice even though I live (or rather lived upcoming…read moresoon) around the corner. It's classy but not too fancy and has enough space but doesn't get too loud. They have a nice happy hour menu from Tuesday-Friday from 5 to 7 as well as all day on Sundays which has very decent prices such as an $8 old fashioned among other things (see the photo.) the bartenders I've had before have been friendly with some good recommendations. Outside of their wide selection of cocktails which run the gamut of liquors, they have a nice wine selection, a handful of craft beers, and a very small food selection. The first time I was here, I had one drink which was the excellent Star of The Ice Snow for $17 with Iwai 45 whiskey, brie-washed Carpano Antica, Fernet Branca, barrel-aged orange bitters, and sassafras bitters. It had a a bit of bitterness, some sweetness, some spice, and some light mint from the fernet and was a pleasant complex drink and was certainly worth it from the price. The second time I was here was just this evening where I had two drinks. I first went with something that I was thinking of getting the first time which is their outstanding Vivian Darkbloom for $15 with Union mezcal, lime, pineapple, charcoal, Velvet Falernum, and lime bitters. The drink has mild citrusy sweetness as well a bit of smoke from the mezcal and is probably my favorite drink I've had here though the other drink I had the first time gives it stiff competition. I asked the bartender what he recommends and after a small discussion, he said either The Bell Witch (which is a gin and chartreuse cocktail with a strong herbal flavor) or what I went with. Said drink was the Under a Cosmic Cloak for $16 with rhubarb infused rum, Trois Rivieres rum, Smith & Cross rum, yerba mate, lime, grapefruit, and whey. The bartender said that it wouldn't be overly sweet as the rum was milk washed and this was indeed the case with just a mild sweetness and some fruitiness. There was a light herbal flavor otherwise presumably from the mate as well as a light citrus note and overall, it was good though definitely the least complex of the drinks I've tried and probably my least favorite but was definitely not a bad drink. The drinks here are reasonably priced for the quality, the bartenders are friendly, and it is classy but not overbearingly so. I can see why it's popular and I wish I stopped in more.

Natural wine bars seem to be all the hype lately and it brings me so much joy because these wines are so much easier on my body (no hangover, less heartburn, etc.). I could honestly say the wine selection here can go head-to-head with four horseman (iykyk) but the food is a skip for me. The space is pretty small so it's good for date nights but not big groups & you will most likely feel like you're in the conversation of your neighbor.
