Great Food and service at this establishment. We got there as it opened at 1100, so it was nice being the first customers the door. Had great selections to choose from as you look at the menu. There were 4 of us that ate yesterday. Buffalo Yard Bird sandwich with fries, great chicken sandwich and great fries. Yard in a Bowl was freed chicken breast with tomato, cheese, hard boiled egg with your choice of dressing, this is what the ladies had for lunch. There was more than enough could have been split up into two meals for sure out of each bowl. I had the Steak Burger- thinly sliced ribeye with grilled onions topped with provolone and fries. Tasted great and was able to finish it all. Also had Black Cherry soda which was great and a good change from Coke products. Many options for floats and Milk shakes with your meal. If you leave here hungry there is a problem. Food was excellent and plentiful. you have got to stop at his restaurant if you are anywhere near Hillsboro, TX. We ordered through their website and I got the confirmation email that said they got the order and it would be ready at a certain time. We arrive at the 'certain' time and they tell us 'oh our system was down we just got the order'. I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce tomato and mayo-see photo, missing mayo and one pathetic tomato. Really??? I ordered my husbands burger (the bbq burger ) with no onions. And even wrote in the comments 'no onions'. His burger came with onions.... Really had higher hopes for this place. Wife and I have always loved the Branded Burger. First discovered them when we lived in Waxahachie. Ate there often. Now I run by this one 5 days a week and I had to stop in. Inside it's small, at this location. It's super cute tho, old town flare with a lot of nostalgic pictures of old town Hillsboro as well as other old items on the wall. It's definitely country deco, but it's done well. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We got the Mushroom Swiss burger and the Jelly Belly Burger. mmmm. So good. Stopped at the Branded Burger, on West Elm Street, Hillsboro, TX today on our way back from Port Arthur, TX. Had one of THE Best burgers ever! And the french fries are out of this world too! I ordered the "plain Jane" burger, no onion, but with mayo and it was so good - hard to just say 'SO GOOD' - best burger I've had in such a long time! Wife had chicken strips and fries and she stated these were great! This place could be and should be hopping! The hold back is service. Server Cameria Ne is less than horrible. She's working behind the order counter and totally has the personality of a stump. Doesn't great you and then when you can get her to take an order she halfway listens. Don't go to this location! The management is terrible. We were missing a sandwich on a large order and I called and spoke to someone and explained the situation. I was told no problem, and they would make it. My nurse went up there and the manager yelled at her saying that she "doesn't make mistakes" and made the nurse pay for the sandwich again. We have the receipt but that didn't matter to her. I called the store after my employee got back and told me what happened. I asked to speak to the manager, was told the manager wasn't there today. I told her someone just came in and spoke to the manager and was then hung up on. The hostility and rudeness the management and workers treat customers with is unacceptable. When branded burger first came into town I was skeptical. We have a variety of places that sell decent burgers but after my first trip here I was SOLD. The food here is magnificent! I even met the owner on my first visit! Downstairs you go to the counter to order like usual but they also have an upstairs for dining! The upstairs is filled with tvs with lots of sports watching! My wife and I visited this establishment on Tuesday evening 8/12/25 about 7:30pm, upon entering the establishment there was no one at the register, the nice gentleman man leaned out from the kitchen and informed us that someone would be right with us, after about 4-5 minutes the young lady comes from down the hall and I noticed she sat her phone down as if she had been on her phone, while we were waiting my wife had grabbed the plastic cups to go ahead and get our drinks as we have been in here several times. The young lady that we could barely hear stated that the internet was down and only could take cash, I said that was fine, she then asked to take our order, my wife started to order to only be stopped by the young lady so she could reorganize the cups first as she stated that it was driving her crazy, we were then allowed to order our food. Our bill was 36 dollars and change for 2 burgers, 1 fry, 1 onion ring, 2 drinks . I paid with a $50 dollar bill, the young lady gave me back like $32 dollars and change, I could not do that to her or the restaurant as a Christian man, I told her and she took the money back and redid my change! My wife and I found a booth on the end and took our seat, the cook did a quick and speedy job and got our food done promptly only to have the girl walk up and literally with no exaggeration throw our trays on the table and walk off. I was appalled to say the least, I seen the look on my wife's face as she was as well. We agreed to just go ahead and get our food to go, she walked up and asked the lady for to go boxes while I walked outside to make a phone call to try to reach a manager as it was that bad as I was walking out my wife had asked the girl was everything OK as everybody has a bad day, she got the to go boxes from the gentleman cooking, and then basically threw them on the counter in front of my wife. I then called the Midlothian store and the gentleman at that store informed me that they really have nothing to do with the Hilsboro store, but took my name and number and reached out to his manager. I was informed upon a return phone call from the nice gentleman at Midlothian that I would have a phone call from the manager of the Hilsboro store within the next 24 hours. It is now Saturday evening and I have yet to ever receive a phone call. needless to say I am leaving this review and I will never step foot back in this establishment and I also recommend that nobody else does if this is the kind of way they wanna treat the public that they depend on. read more

We walked into an old building with all the charm of boots having climbed the stairs for passed 50 years to a like 5 wide screen TVs, windows overlooking the square and Chris the bartender mixing some good looking drinks. Such a fun, tasty place to stop for a bite! The fried jalapeños were the chefs kiss. Crispy and not too spicy, but with a subtle heat that builds. The Hollywood burger was absolutely delicious. And my kids (who are not burger lovers) were super excited to see chicken tenders and mini corn dogs on the menu. We also got some cheese fries which were obviously good since they're loaded with cheese and bacon (and the fry seasoning is on point).
