They were all prompt with being there on time which they get credit for because I appreciate that. One contractor came in at $6000 another contractor at $5000 and one more at $8500. The funny thing is, they were quoting me anywhere between six and eight Trees. The guy that quoted me on six, I pointed out two others and said what about those and he had never even noticed them. Ryan comes out shows me that there are 12 trees that really need to come down and explain why then he pointed out that my oak tree needed two branches removed in order for the oak tree to remain healthy. They would just take care of that while they were up on the lift. Also, one of the biggest trees in the front yard he said they would grind the stump down after cutting the tree so that my yard would remain looking nice. All this for $6000!!!!!!!!!! Ryan was prompt. His crew was respectful and very polite. What also impressed me was the open line of communication with Ryan. After the big snowstorm in March 2026, they were out there working while the warm weather was melting the snow pretty quickly - Ryan actually video called me to show me how saturated the yard was and explained why they would need to quit working. I appreciated them, not damaging the yard and having the courtesy to call and explain everything to me. The following weekend his men where out there, raking up sticks and then used a very powerful blower to add the finishing touches to my yard and patios. I can't say enough about Ryan and his team but they get five stars from me HANDS DOWN ANGEL AVINA

We had used this tree service 3 years prior and it was a great experience. We felt confident we had made a good choice. The quote for the cherry removal and pruning of trees around the perimeter of the house was $2600, then it was lowered to $2200. We also had 2 huge pine trees that we were contemplating removing and the quote for 2 pines, cherry tree and pruning was $3500. We've had trees removed several times and the price seemed reasonable. But I wanted an additional estimate. I held off on committing to the work. On Sunday I received a text and Armando stating he would do all the work for $3000, awesome price- we agreed to the work. It rained Monday so we scheduled Tuesday am. The crew showed up an hour early. Not a big deal. They were at our home for approximately 7 hours. My husband and I would go out periodically to check the work and see how it was going. It was going well. Several times there was loud booms of falling limbs, branches, trees and that was expected because it can be loud. We paid the son an additional $400 to grind the stumps and that went well, I asked for the mulch to be left behind and I was pleased because I could mulch around the garden, shrubs and other trees. The son was very nice, professional and helpful. As it started to storm and thunder there was a rush to be done with the work, my husband and I did a walkthrough around the perimeter of our house and there was a big branch that was not removed that was part of the quote. Equipment needed to be used that was already put away and I am getting text messages at this point that the work was done and to remit payment. As it started to rain heavily the workers waited in their trucks to complete the work. The rain slowed and a worker climbed a tree and branch was removed. Payment had been made. They finished and left. As it was raining I walked around noticed the sloppiness, and mess all around. I understand- it was raining, it was a long day, it was hot and muggy. But then take pride in your work if you are expecting a posted review. Or just take pride because it's your job. And are seeking referrals too. The work was very careless, dirty, messy and unprofessional after I assessed the overall work. I cleaned my street in the rain, limbs, branches, pine all over. Filled the green bin. The shed wall was bent, it could be broken, the retaining wall corner concrete was shifted and I don't know how that could happen, it is extremely heavy, and how can we place the block back?!?! there are holes that are deep in the lawn, and mud, dirt, limbs, branches EVERYWHERE in the backyard, patio and walkway. Broken pavers, and pots. I'll be spending hours cleaning the mess. Maybe this is exactly what $3000 got us, where I thought it was a good price and Armando thought this mess left behind is what we deserved. I really think this is accurate. I also thought who is in charge when the business owner comes and goes for 7 hrs?!?! Who is making sure the work is getting done, where is the accountability?!?! and no one made sure the customer was satisfied. Armando's last text message was to provide payment to the son- is the business owner who provided the initial quote so busy he doesn't think payment should be remitted to him at the time of completion to be sure the customer is satisfied?!?! I let Armando know my concerns, I was ignored. That's fine. It's a tell all. Other reviewers stated the exact same thing. We are flexible people, and we weren't treated kindly today nor was there respect for our home. I expected minor catastrophes but this was all a bit too much. It's getting harder to find people you can trust, have a good work ethic and care even for a simple tree removal job.

Their pricing was clearly the best of several bids. The trees were all in tight quarters and had to be roped out. They were particularly careful protecting certain areas with important plants or smaller trees. There was minimal damage and less than would be expected for a job of this size. The salesman and project manager were often on site during the work, but the 6 man crew was more than capable on their own. They had the necessary equipment to move quickly and efficiently. After the log truck came a few days later they came back to clean up the mess. If you have major tree work to do you should get a proposal from Tree Time before you decide. ZERO STARS: A Nightmare Experience with Deuces Tree Service & Removal…read more Hiring Deuces Tree Service & Removal has been, without question, the worst contractor experience I have ever had. The level of broken promises, unprofessionalism, and resulting damage is unacceptable. We hired Deuces for a primary tree removal project ( 2 large trees with add on of 3 smaller trees), which the owner personally assured us he would complete himself within two days, starting in July 2025 (July 21, 2025). We paid a required $2,000 upfront as requested. A Cascade of Failures and Deceptive Practices Illegal Operation & Hapeville Fine: The contractor failed to obtain the required city permit from Hapeville before beginning work, resulting in a fine being issued directly to Deuces for operating illegally. Subcontractor Deception: after taking our payment, the owner broke his promise and sent an unknown subcontractor to our property without any notification or consent, and the subcontractor started cutting down the wrong tree, and damaged our home, gutters and knocked down exterior light. Catastrophic Property Damage: The subcontractor caused serious damage to our home, including knocking a light fixture down from the house, and shockingly, started cutting down the wrong tree, which is now dying, and a larger tree is leaning closer to the house than before. Insurance Denial: The owner explicitly assured me he carried insurance to cover any potential damage. Now that damage has occurred, he denies ever making this statement. Major Project Abandonment: The primary tree removal project we hired and paid for was never completed. The small amount of work performed on three smaller trees was not the main job and is certainly not worth the $2,000 advance payment. Unprofessional Conduct Throughout this ordeal, the conduct has been consistently unprofessional. The tone of some of the text messages has been hostile and stressful. Conclusion Due to the property damage, the major project left unfinished, the contractor's lies regarding insurance coverage would cover damage if any, and the illegal operation resulting in a fine from Hapeville, I do not feel comfortable allowing this company back on our property for any reason. I strongly advise anyone considering Deuces Tree Service & Removal to look elsewhere. This company is unprofessional, dishonest, and fails to deliver on its contracted obligations when something goes wrong.
