I've used these guys twice now, a few years apart. First time we needed some very large branches from an old leaning pecan tree hanging into our yard trimmed to keep the tree from leaning further, or possibly falling. They were doing work at my neighbor's house, who put me in contact. We scheduled the work and they came out on time and got the work done that morning at a great price. Yesterday, we had a very large branch settle onto our roof, still hanging on to the tree, causing a safety concern to the street and sidewalk next to our house if it should fall. City required me to get it fixed ASAP. Called Stevie and he came right over, gave me a good price and his team got it fixed within an hour per what we discussed. Stevy came out when he said he would and gave immediate quote for removing a BUNCH of trees that had grown up around pond, you could not even see it. Price was very reasonable and his crew came out with in the time period he stated. They were amazing in how they got right to work and the team work they displayed was amazing to watch. Ground was muddy and after removing all the trees Chris was a artist with bobcat the way he smoothed out the ground. Great crew to work with and I highly recommend. While here a neighbor asked for a quote to compare to one he had already gotten from another company and immediately hired AC tree service to come back and do his work. read more

I had 7 tree companies give me an estimate to remove 11 trees. They ranged from $1,750 to $2,200. Not only were they the least expensive, but their price included stump grinding, haul off, and clean up. I live in the woods, so I don't have much grass. The ground is covered mostly in pine needles and dead leaves. When they cleaned up, they even picked up all the stupid pine needles too. I was so ecstatic. My yard never looked so good! I didn't have any issues with them leaving trash or destroying anything on or around my house. I would definitely use them again. Stevie and his crew have always done a great job for us and at a great price. When Hurricane Irma dropped 2 trees on our home they met us at our house in the dark with flashlights and cleaned it up and tarped the house the next day. We have used them numerous times and wouldn't dream of using anyone else! read more

AC Tree Removal - deserves another star !! On Monday, July 2, 2018 Steve and his crew showed up promptly to remove 5 trees on my property, one of which was a Magnolia tree over 15' tall; it took minutes for Cody to cut down. Not only were they knowledgeable in their craft, but professional, neat and the price was the best around; I compared to three other companies. I ended up adding a few extras to the job while they were there and AC Tree was so accommodating to all of my requests and were extremely reasonable in pricing my "add-ons". I deducted stars because I needed tree work done and figured that since they were the best price the 1st time I had used them for trimming that they'd still be the second time around when I need tree removal. Their quote was $2100, a second company was $1600 and a 3rd was $1200. Clearly overpriced on tree removal but trimming was the lowest of the three companies. I contacted and paid AC Tree to cut down and grind 2 large trees in the front of my yard. While they cut down the trees, they did not completely grind one stump down. I called and texted Shelley multiple times and asked when Stevie would come back out and complete the job. First, Shelley said that they only grind down 6 inches below the ground; anything lower than that would be an additional fee. I explained to her that the stump was clearly not 6 inches. I then sent pictures of the stump and sent them to Shelley. This was when the empty promises began. I was given different excuses why they hadn't contacted me, and different days Stevie would come by and finish the job, but they never came back. My husband and I will now have to spend more money to get someone else to grind the stump down so we can move forward with the next step to lay sod. Not only did AC Tree not complete the job, but they were also very dismissive. If only they would keep their word and do the job they were paid to do, I would not feel the need to write such a negative review. I just wanted them to correct what was left undone. All of this dismissive behavior and attitude is unfair and unacceptable. I will be contacting our attorney to sue the company for breach of contract. All of this aggravation could be avoided if they would just do the right thing. read more

AC Tree Service had the best quote of 5 companies I contacted. They were at my home exactly when they said. The owner explained how the everything was going to be done and verified the trees to be cut. The crew got to work immediately, I was very impressed by the teamwork they demonstrated and how they communicated with each other with all the noise of chainsaws and chippers going on. They went above and beyond what was originally agreed and filled areas of my yard that had nothing to do with the job I hired them for. The owner even asked me if I would mind if he cut down a dead tree (not part of the agreement) and didn't even charge me for it. AC Trees will destroy your yard and make life miserable! About two years ago, AC Trees did a job for me which included the disposal of a tree and its stump. The guys asked if it was okay to come back after the holiday weekend and NEVER returned. They left their trash( water bottles, etc.), a huge mess and took my grass with them! I have been without a grassy backyard since then. Not only did they let a limb hit my garage rood, but it crushed an attic vent that they of course DID NOT repair! I am enraged and feel so silly I did not come down on them and blast their name on EVERY review site. People like this, give America a bad name and ensure distrust among other tree service companies.
