I could not have been more happier with going to Scott's, from the first phone call with Bradley and working with Carson, they provided nothing short than some of the best customer service I have come across in a very long time. The staffs willingness to take my vehicle in within the week to perform the task was just awesome, you rarely get that anywhere here in Phoenix, and so that alone told me a lot, because an inspection fee is typically not much but it requires time, so for them to drop what they were doing and perform what was needed AND to the detail in how they reported their findings was world class and utilizing current technologies to illustrate the checklist of items needing inspected, was awesome! I wanted to fly to Greeley to ensure the X5 upon sight and feel was the car for me, but instead of just going to the dealership first I had to thank the staff and meet Bradley and Carson, and that I did, and they were true to their service over the phone, two very nice people and class acts all the way. Alex didn't have most of the pieces and tried to piece it together with crap they had laying around the shop. The axles he supplied were both damaged, the transmission wasn't the one that was initially with the engine, wrong shifter linkage and didn't even have to ecu nor correct engine harness. Alex promised he would drop off the ecu and mounts and after 3 weeks I still haven't heard from him. This shop is a joke, avoid at all cost and don't buy engine swaps from them. Shame on them for running a shop and won't stand behind their word

I had to take the motor back out of the car and take it completely apart again to find that the head was absolutely butchered. The intake and exhaust valves where lose, the decking was off, valve job was crooked, and the threads were taped crooked. On top of that the motor had rust in the bottom of the piston walls and an oil sprayer was broken off. The bearing are completely trashed from 30 minuets of run time. They won't respond to my email about it so I will be taking them to court. I you or anyone you know has a car or motor over there I would go grab your shit and run from that place. read less

Females beware. I…read morewalked into Discount Tire to get a simple nail removed from my tire. That's it. A nail. Not a new car. Not a full tire makeover. Instead, the associate immediately informed me I needed all four new tires. When I calmly explained that my tires still had plenty of tread, he confidently told me I was wrong. Apparently, my eyes and basic understanding of tire tread were no match for his sales pitch. I told him I was not interested in spending $1,200 for a full set and seemed visibly annoyed with me. So instead of removing the nail (the actual reason I was there), I left. Took my vehicle to a competitor and guess what?!? They removed the nail without theatrics and confirmed my tires are perfectly fine. Later had my oil changed at the dealership, and they also confirmed my tires are good. Funny how that works. I came in for a repair and got a sales lecture instead. If you're a woman walking in alone, be prepared to advocate for yourself OR just save yourself the headache and go somewhere that listens!!

I have taken my vehicles to Brakes Plus for years, and the staff and service just keep getting better each visit! I have no doubt I am a valued customer. Mike and Jessica have been so awesome and helpful to me and always go above and beyond to explain work that needs to be done and help me prioritize repairs. They are honest and upfront with me and have been so understanding of my stress and anxiety over vehicle repairs. I trust them, and I don't throw that word around randomly! Anytime there was an issue or something under warranty (because things happen and people aren't perfect) they make sure to get it fixed right away. They always manage to get me in me quickly, even when they are swamped! I leave feeling taken care of and know my family is safe on the road. Getting a ride to or from work is no problem, and they do it happily and are good company during the ride! They even treat my teenagers with the same amount of respect as anyone else when they take our vehicles in. Mike helped me again today, took his time explaining the work and cost to me, showed me my old parts, and even helped me with some last minute things on my car I forgot to mention when I brought it in. Above and beyond! This was all right before closing time and he wasn't trying to rush me out the door. I just can't say enough good things about that guy! Thank you so much, Brakes Plus! Greg Took my 2014 Dodge Charger in for and engine warning light. They ran a check and I showed an engine misfire. they then dug deeper and found that one of my fuel injectors was not functioning up to par, low pressure. They recommended it should be changed out; but they noticed that my car was still under factory warranty. So they gave me the option of them replacing it, witch would cost me; or me taking it into a Dodge dealer and having it replaced under warranty, no cost to me. This saved me money, plus the diagnostics was free as well. Good thing I stopped here, they were not money hungry and helped me save my money. Not all places would have done that. I will be back in the future. read more

I brought my car to BG Auto / Loveland and feel that I was scammed. My dealer had mentioned that I…read moreneeded to replace the rear brakes, so I called BG Auto to ask for another estimate. They told me I needed to bring the car in for an inspection, which I did. They said they perform a full inspection, and after a few hours, they gave me a report stating that, in addition to the rear brakes, it was "urgently needed" with a red exclamation icon to replace the water pump/alternator belts. The person at the front desk, XXXX was very impatient to have me decide whether I would ask them a service or not at the spot. They attached a photo and claimed the belts had cracks and damage, but the photo was unclear. Since I don't know much about cars, I agreed to the replacement. After the service was completed and I paid, I noticed the receipt said "serpentine belts replaced," which alarmed me because I had replaced the serpentine belt just the previous month. I didn't realize that the water pump belt is referred to as the serpentine belt. I went back to question them, and XXXX at the shop showed me the old belts. Of course they looked almost new (one completely IS new) and had no visible cracks or damage. I told him, "You replaced the belt that I had just replaced last month." XXXX responded by just saying, "Sorry, it looked damaged," but did not provide a satisfactory explanation. After this experience, I had my battery--which they had diagnosed as "weak"--checked at another shop. The technician there told me the battery was fine and did not need to be replaced. This experience felt like a complete rip-off. I will not return to this shop. If you are not knowledgeable about cars, be very very cautious, and always ask for another opinion at another shop(s). Based on my experience, they may recommend unnecessary repairs.
