definitely do not go here. I wish I had read the reviews before I went. Went to get my brakes inspected after Jiffy Lube said I pads, guy called back with a $900 quote for $300 of parts and what would probably be 20 minutes of work. I said no thank you, and to get the car. A week later, I went to do the job myself and found that multiple studs on my right side had been stripped and snapped off. They literally had no idea how to use an impact . The lugs were on the studs. Absolute amateur mistake.. This is take a lot more time to now replace the entire wheelhouse. DO NOT GO HERE! Most of their employees do not know what they're doing. Went to go get an inspection. Needed brakes and roders replaced. They charged about $100 more than everywhere else. We ended up not going with them because we know how to replace them ourselves (we just didn't feel like doing the work ourselves). Don't get me wrong, I know that you're paying for services and I understand supporting businesses. But when I can get the brakes and roders myself for around $300 and change them within a hour or two, I am not going to pay over $900 for this place to replace them. IN ADDITION, when going to replace my roders and breaks we found out that they stripped MULTIPLE studs and lug nuts. Even when knowing they stripped and cracked studs they still sent us on our way. AND we know that they know they did wrong by us because we went back up there and they knew exactly which ones were messed up without us saying anything. They replaced the studs and lug nuts that were damaged and put my front roders/brakes on. When we got back home to do the back two we checked behind them. After checking, they broke more studs and stripped more lug nuts AND put my roder on wrong. On top of that now I'm missing two screws that screw my roder plate down. Overall this place needs to hire better people! I'd give them a zero if it would let me. read more

Dre was a great help when I took my car in. He was very straightforward with what needed to be done to keep my car going. Got all four brakes replaced fairly quickly and done right. When my car wouldn't start after I went down the road to Walmart he took time out of his day to come help me diagnose the issue. Thanks to his help I'm back on the road with no problems. My classic Silverado pick up truck with 200,000 miles had a brake problem. I assumed that it was a need for brake pads and shoes. However, these folks found that it was merely my Master cylinder that was worn and that needed replacement. They told me that my brake pads were in good shape and didn't need to be replaced. I give them high marks for that, since they could have easily replaced them. When I thanked him for finding the problem, they told me they never replace parts that are not necessary. They appeared to be very professional about their work. I'll be returning when I need additional brake work. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!! This is a real review from a real customer. The "4 Wheel Special At $179" is just puffing, see if YOU get that price. My wife took her GMC Terrain to have brakes repaired. They determined the rear brakes needed rotor and pads....ok. THEY WANTED $479 FOR REAR BRAKES ONLY. I have the exact same car and have never paid more than $250 per axle (all included), and that was from the car dealership! The parts cost no more that $100. You can look them up yourself on google. I should have known better going to this place.....it was empty, just one other customer. I guess others knew better than me. There is nothing complicated about brakes, and almost everybody knows somebody that will do them for $60-$120 per axle for labor (parts not included). I had a strange noise coming from my 2003 Ford F-250. I stopped by the shop with no appointment. Dre, immediately was able to troubleshoot the problem. We got the parts and he stayed past normal closing time to complete this job. This above and beyond courtesy saved me having to leave my vehicle in the shop for the entire weekend. The service was great! I've had my brakes replaced at the Broad River location, who did a good job too, but this location was closer to suit my needs. When I called, on a Monday, the manager said to bracing it in and that they'd have a look. I took to the store today (a Tuesday) at 9:30 in the AM and was greeted by friend maintenance staff. It took upwards of an hour to complete the job, but the resurfacing of the rear drums (on my Jeep) was needed, plus lubing or the springs and what have you. I didn't mind, as the work was a warranty request and being my brakes, I wanted it done right. Well, the e-break and the overall breaking action of the car is what I'd compare to off the lot performance. I have assured them that I will return to that location and plan on it. I would make one request for a coffee bar though. The refreshments ran lean, but that's easy to remedy. As I said, good service is hard to find. Went in for brakes back in October. Got the call that the brakes were completed. Had work done there before with great satisfaction. Arrived with my husband to pick up our car and was greeted by a manger. He went on to explain that our van had somehow fallen off the lift. There was a huge ugly gash in the drivers door and two other smaller places down the body. He assured us they would take care of the damage but would like to keep it out of insurance. We were to go to the body shop of our choice and return with an estimate. It is December 30 and we have still not had our van repaired. No word from BFL about their intentions at this point. I arrived at 8am and was immediately greeted at the front desk. My Jeep was pulled into the bay and within a few minutes, the problem was identified. In about 1 1/2 hours, my Jeep had new front and rear premium brake pads, new hardware, calipers serviced, resurfaced rotors and got a brake fluid exchange for less than $300...along with endless miles warranty!! I originally called prior to getting there as I was told looking at and possibly diagnosing and relieving the problem was likely that day... I get there and they tell me I should not have come being as they are way too busy and nothing can be done today. Completely wasted my time, highly recommend going anywhere but here. I heard a squeeling when I braked at a drive through and assumed I needed brakes fixed. When I walked in at 1010 Dutch Fork Rd, I was greeted immediately. The man behind the desk said it would take about 15 to 25 minutes to do a proper inspection, so I had a sandwich across the street (Coyote Grill). When the same man came into the restaurant and came over to me, I thought I would just be telling him to go ahead with the repairs. Instead he gave me an honest report that my brakes were not in need of repair right now. What? It is great to see such honesty in business!! Went in for a brake job because I heard grinding in the rear of my new to me Grand Cherokee prepared to buy the premium package to make sure it was done right. Jake the Manager called me within 30 minutes (I left the car for the day) to advise that there was nothing wrong with my brakes and they had 75% life left. After insisting that something was wrong, he personally drove the car and said everything was fine, again nothing needed. When I returned to pick up my car Jake was out but an associate assisted me. He was just as receptive and professional as Jake. He actually did the inspection and said that it appeared a rock or piece of debris had found its way into the brakes and could have caused the noise. He did a quick buff and said that may have fixed it, but brakes are good-no charge. This is a first class honest operation with exemplary integrity. I chose this place because of similar reviews.
