I won't be going to this location ever again. The change of managers and staff really has taken a down turn. I got an oil change with them a little while back that left me needing a completely new engine. Which was replaced by them, free of charge. So I do have to at least give them credit for that. But then I continued to have issues after getting the vehicle back. So I took it back to Brake Masters. They ran all their tests and "couldn't find anything wrong." Well come to find out, they put an engine in that was on its last limb. So of course I was going to have issues. Really disappointing to say the least. I just don't trust this location fully and wouldn't recommend going here. Peace of mind is of most priority and I just wouldn't have any peace of mind taking my vehicles to them. read more

I had a road service person break off my wheel studs trying to get my flat tire off; I went to Brake Masters to get new studs and lug nuts. The wait time was under an hour; and had me back on the road. They also gave me a veteran discount which is much appreciated for us retirees. Shout out to Ernesto thanks for helping me out! Dropped my car off for an oil change with an appointment at 12:30 and they said it would be done in an 1 hr. I thought I was giving them a cushion by calling in. It's 3:00 and they have touched it. All I received was excuses when I called in to check on it, and I was asked who checked me in. Does that really matter? Really frustrating situation. read more

The question from Yelp on this review is "Oh no! What could improve?" My answer is customer service. My first two visits here I was really pleased with the service, very professional and supportive, and reasonable prices. Ever since then I have received disrespectful and rude supper where there their front desk people just curse and are non caring for the service of my vehicle. For example I asked for the factory scheduled maintenance of my vehicle the last three times I have been here n each time they respond with "what are you talking about?" I point to the sign in their lobby (see attached picture) and then they respond with some sort of excuse of how that's not really a thing. I understand it's mostly an inspection of the vehicle, but they should understand what services they provide. Then after finally figuring out what I want, the charges came out to $1,400.00 for my service which seemed like nickel and dime-ing based on their explanation. Even after the fact that I was willing to pay this insane amount for maintenance on my car, they still we're unprofessional making innuendo jokes about the service and down playing how long it took for the service (4 hrs). They are extremely unprofessional and provide unacceptable excuses for their inability to provide quality service. I have come here several times for multiple vehicles, but within the last year quality has deteriorated and will never come back again. read more

Called in for an appointment and Was quoted 1 hour to do a wheel alignment- walked across to have lunch at timbers came back and my vehicle had not moved- go inside and ask how much longer and the tech says it is being pulled in. Took my Corvette in for an oil change. Great Service from the front desk to the mechanic who worked on my car. Loved the fact that it was service just under one hour. Taking the car to the Chevrolet Dealership costs about $100.00 more and the wait time is at least a 2 hour wait. Thank you, Brake Masters, for exceptional service. SCAMMERS AND LIARS!!!! I let them know I had a battery light that would come on once in a while and they told me they tested it and I need a WHOLE NEW ALTERNATOR. I believed them because my car does have 75k miles but then I look at the receipt where they tested my alternator and battery and it was dated in 2016. Discount tire snapped a wheel stud on my car and sent me here to get it fixed they were paying for the repair BM is 500 feet from discount and i went there immediately after DT..they said it would bexa fewvhour beforw they could get to it so i left it..when I called to see if it was ready they said no we just got the wheel bearing off and that it had to be replaced and it would be done in an hour...I asked why no one informed me of doing a wheel bearing he said it had to be done as part of the wheel stud replacement..I said I would not have authorized them to do it and would have taken it to honda he said sorry..when I picked it up I asked what brand of bearing was used he said Dorman and it had a lifetime warranty when i asked for a receipt to show what they had done they would not give me one BIG red flag..immediately upon leaving I could hear the NEW bearing making noise the next week I took it to the dealer for an oil change and asked them to look at the bearing...they said the bearing had not been replaced but was damaged and needed replacement it made zero noise prior to BM saying they replaced it with a new one..so no I don't recommend this place read more

My first time using the shop was for install for rear brake pads and an alignment. When arriving at the counter, I spoke with Adam about the repairs. The next day, their master tech (Rich) calls me saying that he replaced the brake pads and was ready to do the alignment. The he stated that he ended up doing the rear axle seals as well. He did not call me beforehand about doing the repairs. Sure the job got done, but just because they wanted more money from me. No reason to do repairs that I didn't ask for. When picking up the vehicle, my alignment was way off! My rear wheel was sticking halfway out of the fender while the other side was fine. I asked Adam about that issues and stated because I refused another repair that Rich suggested, it's causing my alignment to be off. Adam then stated that they couldn't help me. I went to ARROW Alignment after this and they were able to fix the issue that this shop caused. That was 9/30/23. Fast forward to 6/17/24 I approached the counter where I spoke to Adam again about repairs. This time I specifically asked to fix the front axle seals due to leakage. I also stated that I hear clunking noise when in 4wd. They noted this down and kept my vehicle overnight to diagnose. The next day they call me and the mechanic, Terry was working on my vehicle. He showed me the rear axle shaft was damaged and needed to be replaced. I asked him for a quote but he told me to speak to Adam. When speaking with Terry, I had also asked about a quote for the front axle seals to get replaced because nothing was done on that issue yet. He also then stated he hasn't looked at it and if I needed a quote, go to the front desk. Mind you, this was the first repair I stated that needed to be done. I then spoke to Adam about ALL the repairs and stated I needed a quote. He then charges me an axle shaft replacement and two axle seals plus labor for over $1000. I'm thinking great everything will get done. They kept my vehicle for 3 days and then called me when it was "done." When picking up the vehicle, the front axle seal is still leaking because they didn't touch it. They replaced the rear axle shaft and only the rear axle seals (that they already replaced in 9/30/2023) Overall: I've been disappointed by this shop due to the customer service, pricing, and repairs that I did and didn't ask for. If you need to go to a shop for alignment, brake repairs or front end repairs, save yourself some time and money and go to a different shop. read more

The quality of the Work is poor. It is not worth the value that they charge. My brakes squeal when I back up. I spoke with another mechanic, and they explained that they did not wipe off or wash off the disks when they changed my brakes. I did not pay over $400 to hear my brakes squeal every time I back out. As I was walking to my car one of the mechanics told me not to press down on my brakes too hard for some reason he explained, and I had never been told that before. They also damaged my key when I received my key back. It was extremely loose when I popped it out to start my car. I just had an eerie feeling as I was leaving that place that day, they kept my car a lot longer than the time they had claimed they were going to need to service my car. I was there at least 3 1/2 to 4 hours waiting across the street at Starbucks. Last when I press down on my brakes during a rainy day my car does not stop immediately, it's like the brakes lock up for a second or two because when I push down the brake skips as I press into stop, but it does not stop until Neil I glide forward a few more inches then the brake stops the car. This has only happened in the rain. This was just recently during our rainy day here in Vegas, so no I do not recommend these guys to fix brakes. I will take my car where I bought my car for them to look at this situation and remedy it but every place is not a good place for something's so important and costly. Take your car somewhere where you will get the service that you deserve for your money. read more
