Really solid variety of products. Braid ' Beauty Salon in the back. Great service from the young ladies the multiple time I've been there. Great vibes with reasonable prices. Worth your support!

BeautyBeez is beautiful! I can't remember the last time I stepped into a beauty supply (as well as salon) store that had so much space, great displays and good deals. I was greeted immediately and offered assistance. I came in for one product that between the two super personable ladies on duty was found in just a few seconds. I had wanted to stop in a few months ago before March hit like a storm and forced all of us to lay low, but was glad I was able to shop in person. They have all the haircare needs and essentials especially for textured hair. BeautyBeez has some beautiful wings and hair pieces that I know my sister and mom would love to scope out. They have great products for women as well as men. BB has salon stations toward the back of the store in rooms away from the sales floor and they even sell some good skin care products as well. B-Beez has killer displays, a clean layout and a vibrant and fresh energy that will make you wonder why you haven't stopped by sooner. Definitely a diamond in the slightly rough store of a find with good deals!

I found BeautyBeez while browsing on yelp and I am so glad I did. I was running errands after work (car wash, fill up gas tank, buy groceries) and I knew I wanted to wash my hair that night. I quickly remembered that my comb attachment for my blow dryer was missing a few teeth so I needed to pick up a new one. I was now headed home at this point and I decided to find a neighboring beauty supply store. I came across beautybeez and I noticed it said it was minority-owned AND women-owned so I was insanely intrigued. OMG walking into the space I was immediately blown away by the aesthetic. I was an inviting space and wasn't cluttered at all like your typical beauty supply store. I didn't get this warehouse vibe, but a space that I could explore and essentially hangout. What I thought was super neat was that they had the cutest wig suites where you can go in and relax while you try on different wigs. Not everyone wants to walk around with wig caps out on the store floor so that was pretty cool. They also have the cutest instagrammable wall with the company name which is super smart considering we are in the social media bubble and you document everything. There is a licensed esthetician on location that offers threading, waxing, facial services so I will be back to try those out. Very cute inviting space with a ton of street parking. I've found my new beauty supply location.

I am from the OC, but I work in the Los Angeles area, and I was surprised to find an all Black beauty establishment in the valley! My goodness, so I had to come out and try this place for myself. I booked a braiding appointment with Jordan, who is lovely, and sweet, and she let me work on my laptop while braiding my hair. I was amazed by how many colors, extensions, wigs, products the shop had, and the ladies were so knowledgeable about hair types and had a healthy host of reccs for all kinds of people that came into the shop that day. Super cool that it doubles as both a hair salon and a hair supply store. Jordan made my braids look awesome, and would certainly visit the shop and her again for my next hair-do when I'm back in town!

I came here last Monday to get box braids for the first time. My appointment was with Kay whom I had never met before coming to my appointment. I was really nervous at first, because I had never gotten box braids before. I am so happy I did it! From the initial phone call to BeautyBeez ; the staff was extremely helpful, professional, and very nice. They answered all questions I had and helped me choose the perfect color for my hair. Kay was professional, clean, and did my hair in record fast time (but it still came out amazing) I don't know if I will ever return to my normal state of Hair after getting these braids. I am receiving compliments left and right and feeling really confident with my hair. Thank you Beauty Beez for existing and providing me with an EXCELLENT experience.

I LOVEEEEE BeautyBeez! Everyone is so friendly and their style bar is AMAZING! I've been going to Jess for over a year now after a recent breakout, and she got my skin right! She also does my waxes and is so bomb! The vibe is amazing! I drive over 20 minutes to come and will continue to keep coming! Love supporting my black community

How long does your hair have to be to get box braids?

I don't think that matters because they add the synthetic hair. My hair is pretty thick and when I got them done they still added hair. I'm not a professional though, but I know girls with shorter thinner hair than me that get box braids done… Read more

After saying "I wish I had pink hair" over and over again for a few months, I decided to just do it last week. I called NoHo Hair on Wednesday and they scheduled me an appointment for the next morning at 10:00 am and invited me in that day for a consult. I was really pleased by their ability to fit me in at the last minute and their willingness to consult ahead of time. Everyone on the staff was very welcoming, offering my friend and I water and coffee when we came in. Minerva was my stylist and in the consult she recognized that I have very thin and fine hair and explained to me that she wanted to use a type of bleach that was less strong and would cause less damage. I appreciated her honesty and the fact that she explained to me what specifically she needed to do and the risks involved. In the past I was told that it wasn't possible to get the color I wanted in one session because of my hair but Minerva told me she could do it by using the right formula. She quoted me $250-$350 for the whole process. When I came for my appointment the next day, Minerva told me she had been doing research on how to achieve the look I wanted with my hair type. Ultimately, the appointment lasted around 6 hours, which was longer than I expected, but she talked me through the whole process and I trusted her fully. When the pink dye came out and she started styling my hair I couldn't stop smiling. It was perfect and worth the wait! The only complaint I have was that the final price was $420 which was more money than I expected to pay from the quote, but I understand that my hair needed extra bleach and time than she initially expected, and to me it's worth it for the hair I got in the end. $420 was for the bleach, pink dye, wash, dry, style, and haircut. I've received so many compliments and feel amazing every time I step outside. I think the pink we picked out really suits my skin tone! I'm posting a screenshot of the reference photo, my starting hair color, the day of result, and a picture from today (a week and one wash later). Thank you Minerva!

No heat protectant was put on my hair whatsoever and my ends were left crunchy, dry, and frizzy. I am due for a haircut soon but my ends were absolutely not this fried when I arrived. I was never asked what I wanted as far as styling beyond that I wanted the bouncy blowout. I arrived with my bangs clearly down and styled, but they were completely ignored. He just tried to smooth my bangs into the rest of my hair at the last second as a last resort leaving my hair very strangely parted and my cowlick just dangling there. I was at such a loss for words I just paid and left because I was on the verge of tears looking at the top of my head and my ends. The people were very nice I just couldn't believe they let me leave looking like that. I should have said something but I was just so confused and at a loss. Definitely don't come here if you have any sort of bangs or cowlicks of any kind and if you do please request they put heat protectant on your hair To update based off of the owner's reply: 1. I did leave through the back door as recommended, so my hair never came in contact with any moisture. I walked out through the back into the parking structure area. The photos I took are on the drive home and my hair had come into zero contact with any sort of water or moisture. 2. The condition of my ends is in no way just frizz from moisture in the air. I've since then washed and styled my hair multiple times and my ends are completely fried, which is not the condition my hair was in before the blowout. My ends were soft and relatively healthy. 3. As far as leaving without saying anything, that IS my fault. I'm generally too shy to say anything or express concerns after receiving a service. But even a restyle would not have saved the damage to my hair. However, my plan WAS to communicate how I wanted my hair to be styled. I even had reference images ready to show my bangs. Not only was I never asked how I would like my hair to be styled other than the original question (straight blowout or bouncy blowout), not a single word was spoken to me during the service and the person blowing out my hair had their headphones in and was talking on the phone with someone. That's not exactly a situation where I'm comfortable expressing how I would like my hair done. I was sat in the chair and my blowout began immediately as my stylist had headphones in and was on a call with someone, with no opportunity to express how I would like it styled. Overall, I'm willing to admit that I should've asked for a restyle on my bangs/front area. That is my fault for being too shy to say anything and just pretending that I loved it and that everything was fine. But I DID leave through the back door as recommended, my ends are fried (not just frizzy from moisture), and the behavior of the stylist (no questions asked, silence, headphones in, and on a phone call) didn't make me feel comfortable to express how I wanted my hair styled in the first place. I'm not expecting any refund as I know the no refunds policy and I'm aware that I could've and should've said something at least about the bangs. But to act as if I didn't listen to your advice when someone LITERALLY let myself and my partner out of the back door straight to the parking structure and that the damage to my hair is just frizz is really upsetting.

Something simple, not too intricate. I have curly hair and I just needed layers because my hair had grown to one length and I told her I still wanted the thickness and fullness with my layers. When she was finished with my hair it was soooo incredibly short I gasped. I was so internally frazzled that I almost forgot my cellphone, keys and almost walked out with the drape that was on me. I just wanted to run out of there as fast as I could. When I swiftly walked to my car with my head down I jumped in my car and the water gates exploded. Words cannot express how distraught I was. I canceled everything that day. I even draped a coat over my head to walk from the parking lot to my door so no one would see it. I was already a mess. My hair looked nothing like the photos I showed Kaylie I wanted my hair to look like. If she couldn't do it she could have made me aware of this so I may find another stylist.
