You couldn't ask for more for a bed and breakfast. private bathroom in each room and an adequate continental breakfast. We had the entire venue to ourselves, and were given permission to "make it our home." The event planning portion of our stay could not have been easier. JoAnn was professional and made us really feel like we were in good hands. All our worries were put to rest and she had answers for all of our questions. We are in no doubt that no matter what happens, our day will go off without a hitch. The wedding venue is all inclusive and priced VERY competitively. It is so nice to be able to just make 4 payments and show up on our wedding day knowing that everything from the DJ to the decorating is done.

The EMCEE needs to reduce the amount of corny jokes. We are here for the bride and groom, not you...sorry, not sorry. The plastic bags on the lights on the patio are super tacky. The use of real linens is very nice but I wish that had included linen napkins too (perhaps a client choice?)

The owners' hospitality was above and beyond, especialy kind and gracious to allow my nephew to be a 7 year old boy. The beds were like sleeping in a cloud and the breakfast meal each day was delicious, served family style in the main dining room so we could enjoy being together. They were also the hosts for the wedding reception and did a spectacular job preparing for and hosting this event. We had a more intimate, private ceremony that we set-up ourselves and Edward & Cynzia both did not hesitate to give us an extra hand. We were surrounded by so much love, talent, support, & beauty that our stay here at the Gillen House has become one of our fondest memories. Edward & Cynzia are crazy talented and creative !! The reason I canceled is because I googled the B&B and it showed permanently closed (see photo). The owner basically called me a liar (computer do not lie, duh) and kept my money.
