The workout was tough but effective and the trainer was engaged and coached on proper form and was motivating. I would go back but not for the 10 credits on class pass that it cost. It wasn't worth that much to me but I suggest you go check it out for yourself and be your own judge.

You get 8 workout sessions (each 1 hour long), meal plan and home workouts for $125. In this particular program you could choose between a 5am or 7pm session on Tuesday's and Thursday's. The evening option is great for me as I cannot do mornings - at all - ever - nope. On my first day I wanted to walk out during the warm up - it was so hard. Six laps around the building and 10 bur-pees in between each lap. The other boot camp attendees help cheer you on and support you. We did some partner work and individual stuff and always hit abs. Every time I am satisfied that I received a great workout, super sweaty and sore as all get out the next day. If I can end up with half the body that trainer/owner, Britney, does I will be over the moon. I cannot wait until her next 21 day challenge with a PM option. Highly recommend - she also does $15 drop in's on most classes if you call/text her ahead of time and payment is easy because she takes PayPal. Call her today! :D

July we were told that new management was coming that following Monday. I show up Monday no one there lights off doors locked. No explanation try reaching out to D1 no response for about 2-3 weeks. Finally we get a call stating that their new management and they will be starting class back up and that we would have the weeks missed added to the end of the contract. Well everything was fine until December 12 when I get a text message telling me classes were canceled. I called and spoke with Corey and he stated that the facility was going to be closing for renovations. I already knew something was up. The space is small what more can they do to it. Well, he told me that we will be getting an email from corporate about what going on and that we will be getting refunds. I did receive an email from corporate that Sunday night telling me another lie about what they're doing and how they plan to reopen in 6 weeks but that we were going to be getting a refund by the end of the week. That was December 15 and today is Jan 16 and I still have yet to receive anything from D1. I have sent emails with no response. I called the Frisco location which is were Corey from Firewheel D1 went to. He told me that refunds had been refunded, but after talking to some the other clients that also attended D1 Firewheel they have not yet received their refund either. I've reached out to corporate no response the number for corporate on the website for immediate assistance goes straight to voicemail. I really thought highly of D1 the trainers were all great. But, the owners they don't care about us. They only care about lining their pockets.

Overall, I'm a fan of Camp Gladiator. My primary instructor is phenomenal, energetic,…read moreinspirational, and challenges you to the best of your ability. My two favorite alternative instructors are the best. Incredible people. I do have one gripe that stopped me short of rating. On two occasions I registered for one of the "challenges." The challenge itself was no problem at all and I enjoyed it. However, receiving the prize which was a T-Shirt became a bit of a hassle for one and a big let down for the most recent challenge "Goal Getter Challenge" back in January. Upon successfully completing the challenge, I followed the remaining step to confirm which was featured in an email and in the CG app. I've confirmed the completion on Jan 17, well ahead of the deadline of Mar 19 along with confirming it multiple times weekly after Jan 17th. I periodically checked my email to for a delivery notification along with checking my mailbox. Til this day, I did not receive any notification nor the T-Shirt that was promised upon completing the challenge. I spoke with a representative on July 14 about the issue. I was told that they didn't have any in stock whereas the deadline passed. I asked about a refund or store credit and the representative told me the challenge was non-refundable nor there was any chance of getting store credit. I told the representative I didn't receive any notification about any delays of the T-Shirt being delivered and explained to her why I am being subjected to being penalized on the account of an issue that occurred on CGs end. She countered by saying an email was sent out to campers to confirm the delay. Based on the details she provided, it was sent out in on of the weekly email updates months ago. At this point, I knew I wasn't going to get compensated. She did offer a coupon but I refused it. However, I did check every weekly email I received and not one of those emails contained any information about the delay of the "Goal Getter" Challenge" T-Shirt. I do not delete any of my emails (yahoo) so I know none were deleted. In other words, she told a lie. One of Camp Gladiator core values include "Integrity." Although I was disappointed about the situation, I'm extra disappointed that I was lied to about the email notification that was allegedly sent out to all campers. If I am wrong, I will recant that part of my statement. Other than that one discrepancy, Camp Gladiator is pretty cool.
