Both my Units are way past their lifespan. Derrick was able to come home to inspect it the same day. He arrived on time, didn't rush in diagnosing the issue at all. I really liked how he did step-by-step diagnosis keeping me well informed of what he is doing and how what's the next step. Any regular guy could've easily said that it's an old unit, just replace it. But after going above and beyond on diagnosis, Derrick was able to establish that we can still use one of the units for another season but that won't last long. He fixed one unit and didn't rob me for it. I felt that the price was reasonable. I loved his honesty and would certainly go again to him for all of my hvac needs. We had previously taken the time to move everything out of the way to provide complete access to the ductwork and make things easier for the tech. Why are we disappointed? - the dust level in our house is much, much worse than prior to service being preformed - upon checking I saw a large amount of debris in the bottom of our ducting - the technician reinstalled a register grill upside down because the duct tin needed tacked up out of the way and he apparently didn't want to bother taking time to do it correctly. - I had to ask about the condition of our ducts prior to the cleaning before he would show me just a one single before photo. I have to wonder if it was actually a photo of our ducting. - I got a negative vibe from the technician from the outset. His demeanor was less than friendly and he didn't talk much. My impression was that he wanted to get in and out as quickly as possible. I felt he was a very poor representative of this company. The work was completed quickly and I can't help but feel we received a "rush job". The dust in our house is much worse than ever and this experience was a complete waste of our $725. We feel like we've been ripped off. Per your response to my review above - Yes it's true that it's been a year since the service was performed. I've been meaning to send a review since last winter. However, because I'm a procrastinator and I sincerely don't like to complain doesn't change anything about my honest, but blunt, statements. That, exceedingly noticeable, contrasting strip was reinstalled up, instead of down, where it's hidden by the carpet nap. (I can send you a photo.) I saw how the tin interfered with the reinstallation and I had to mess around and tack it up out of the way. So I believe the technician didn't want to deal with it and put on upside down instead of, at least, notifying me. And I suggest you speak to your technicians about how they represent your establishment. On the whole, our experience points to some sort of problem with your company. Where that problem lies is up for debate. I initially read all the good reviews regarding your company. I expected at least adequate work to be performed. What we got was, at best, unacceptable. You can speak about all the positive things about your company and your personnel, all I know is what we experienced. Instead of denying everything I said perhaps you should consider it objectively and take it for what it's worth.

Before the work was completed, I had to leave my residence to coach a soccer game, which I clearly communicated to the technician. Shortly after leaving, the technician finished the job and sent over the invoice. As I was actively driving, I informed him that I would process and fulfill the payment as soon as I could safely pull over. Despite my assurance that payment was forthcoming, the technician refused to leave my property and proceeded to undo and pull all of the completed work. During this interaction, his behavior was extremely aggressive and intimidating toward my wife and three-year-old child, who were home alone. The situation escalated to the point where my wife felt unsafe and was forced to press the panic alarm to contact the police. This behavior is entirely unprofessional, hostile, and unacceptable. I request an immediate review of this incident by management and expect a prompt follow-up regarding how this matter will be addressed.

You all led me to this small, local business and you were spot-on, so I am paying it forward by adding my review! My family had our pipes freeze in the winter storm this Christmas. Friday, it was the cold water pipe, which took seven hours of work to unfreeze. We thought we were in the clear and counted our blessings as we kept the cold water running overnight Friday -- only to discover Saturday around noon that the hot water pipe was now frozen solid. Twelve straight hours of effort with hair dryers, space heaters, boiling water pots, heating pad wraps and everything else we could think of did not work and we went to sleep Christmas Eve defeated, wondering how we were hosting the rest of my family on Christmas with no hot water, dishwasher, etc. (Our efforts did eventually pay off with the hot water coming on at 8 a.m. Christmas morning and no pipes bursting. So grateful.) During this nightmare I called a number of plumbers who list themselves as emergency 24/7 plumbers, but only Gary from Brickhaas called back. He called during the span of time that I thought everything was under control, but I asked if we could be booked for later in the week to unclog a bathroom drain I've had a problem with lately. Glad I booked them as, after the pipes thawed, the under sink drain was leaking slightly so Dominic was able to take a look at both of these things today. He called with a 20-minute heads up on his arrival, efficiently took care of the clogged sink and an aerator that was limiting water flow, installed a new kitchen sink trap assembly (which he said I could honestly take or leave; I appreciated the honesty but opted to replace for my own peace of mind), and offered solid advice about what we might do if plans to better insulate those water pipes in the future didn't work out re: rerouting the pipes from their current, poor location. He was highly knowledgeable, didn't hard sell anything and I absolutely got his card as I'll be calling them for future plumbing needs. Yelp comes through, as usual!
