Fate brought me here on Saturday. After coming up empty in finding a bottle (or container) of Lubriderm while doing the grocery shopping at the local Stop & Shop, Your Host took a gamble with his cracked, dry hands and headed over to Rite-Aid, since it wasn't terribly out-of-the-way. After a short scan of finding the aisle where said product was located, a friendly associate, Edie, helped me out and to my pleasant surprise there was a bargain to be had...a 2-for-1 on Lubriderm...yay! (It goes without saying that Your Host likes a bargain!). Edie told me that this location is the best Rite-Aid in the area. Hmm, at first Your Host thought that was an embellishment, but, darlings, as it turned out, it wound up being true. She told me that in order to get this deal, I'd have to sign up in the Rite-Aid plan...which is FREE! These bargains just get better and better!!! So...Your Host signs up, gets the 2-for-1 deal on Lubriderm, with the reminder that I have just shopped at the Best Rite-Aid in the Area! Score! Seriously though, Edie was successfully able to get Your Host's state of vexation reversed...as I left the place with a chuckle and a smile... Of course, until I decided to grab a soft drink at the Burger King next door...after a 20-minute wait in the drive-thru. I digress...sorry. Not being able to walk or anything, I knew I had to rent her a wheelchair for doctor appts and going to the toy store. To my surprise, this pharmacy near me offers wheelchair rentals as well as other medical & mobility supplies and equipment. I called ahead of time to inquire about the companion chair vs. the lightweight wheelchair. When I arrived, both wheelchair were brought out to me and all the staff there were so friendly & nice. Michael especially, the one who explained and showed me how to use a wheelchair bc I'm completely clueless was extremely helpful. I opted for the companion one and couldn't be happier. It's very lightweight and fits perfectly in my trunk. It's going to be my daughter's best friend for the next 3 months or so until she heals & can walk again. Highly recommend this pharmacy for all your healthcare needs!

Lately having issues with pharmacy prescriptions. the automated system said a rx, I'm required to take to keep a steady level in my system, was ready. I called first and found it was not ready and they did not have any. When I say I called i went through a drawn out automated system and got called back. I was then told to call around to find it myself. I asked that they do this and advised I knew they had a central service for these issues. Placed on hold then told they had one of the three boxes in my rx and would have it ready. They did, great. I called a week later to find out when to expect the other two and was told I'd have to wait until March to refill again as they changed the rx without any LICENCED practitioner approval. They had the medication in stock now and said if they still did in March would fill it then. They again argued with me, didn't give me the courtesy of listening and told me to call the insurance company myself to see if they would ok filling the rest of the rx. Their automated system is a mess and states I have rxs ready for pu for drugs I haven't taken in years. They offer zero customer service anymore. I gave two stars as I still appreciate the store and vaccine services. I need to find better. I always wonder how someone older than I manages this type of disservice. It's sad.
