What a horrible experience with a male pharmacist! I have gone to the Manasquan cvs for almost 20 years and since they moved they have a few more pharmacists working there. One of them called me this evening and was so rude and unhelpful I have never had an experience with anyone there like that in 20 years of being a customer. He was so rude! This pharmacy should be shut down .The customer service is a disgrace. There is an issue every time. They are the opposite of helpful.

Horrible counter service. Cashier complained that I used cash. Cash is the US currency and should not be called dirty, plus she complained that it takes her too long to make change. Then she dropped the money all over the counter for me to pick up. If she doesn't want to do transactions she should find another job. I also mentioned that the greeting card section was severely under stocked and she ignored the feedback saying "not my problem". This is not the first time I have had dealings with this woman. Should not be the face of CVS. Figured it's time to speak up. Store has gone downhill since expanding. read more

Does anyone really enjoy going to this CVS? The pharmacy here is a train wreck. Terse, rude, patronizing. It's like complete agony trying to fill a prescription for my kids. And when you explore the retail, it's like double the price of Amazon! Big new space, but half empty. And the grocery store is silly. Super expensive. The ACME was run down but a lot more reasonable. Better off shopping and filling prescriptions in Wall or Point Pleasant. read more

I have had nothing but positive experiences with the pharmacy at CVS Manasquan. Both Darlene & Helena go above and beyond to help with everything. I have a large family, and we are there often. These professionals are exceptional with their elderly customers. They go above and beyond to help in any way they can. Avoid the pharmacy at all costs. I made an appointment online for a flu shot. First, they made me wait inside for 30 minutes and then turned me away since the pharmacist did not have enough time to honor my appointment. Also, they could not enter my insurance card properly in their system when I entered it online prior to the appointment and presented it at the desk. read more

This is the worst pharmacy starting with the woman who is the pharmacist to the nurse they have giving flu shots to the counter help. NO ONE is friendly, no one is helpful....they always act as if they are just so busy to help you...down right rude. forget calling on the phone you will never get a response. We live across the street from the pharmacy and drove to the next town to get a flu shot because they are so rude and will not go out of their way to help. Pharmacy can't fill prescriptions timely...you get a text saying ready for pick up and you get there and they say they don't have it ready or don't event have in stock. I was forced by insurance to accept this CVS as a provider and have had nothing but issues on EVERY RX order. My little son was sick and they said they didn't have the steroid in stock after a text that said it was ready for pick up and waiting in the store for an hour....but then suddenly they had it after I said this is ridiculous...ect ect ... not sure how it "appeared"! One time I had to travel to another store 20 minutes away for a common topical cream for my daughters foot after waiting at The store for over an hour AND after a text message told me it was ready for pick up. I have many other similar mundane stories. The point is the pharmacy incompetent. They also don't answer the phone and the man I spoke with tonight at the cash register after holding for 30 minutes for the pharmacy was really unprofessional. ...he said "good luck to you I have customers to help"...huh?? I said help me and Walk back to the pharmacy and put Someone on the phone. My husband was just there trying to pick a script that was AGAIN supposed to be ready. I switched pharmacies. I will now have to travel a little bit further but won't have to deal with this incompetence. read more

I went to CVS to get my daughter her first covid shot today and Helina was amazing. She was kind, courteous, gave us good information and was very prepared. She not only completed the shot wonderfully but she acted fast and professionally when my daughter fainted. I can't say enough about her kind demeanor--- she was fabulous. read more
