Contacted Bradbury after receiving a quote from another company for some additions in the garage and other corrective work. Bradbury's quote was less than the other company and Abel took care of all our concerns today in one trip. Abel was very honest, professional and thorough in his explanations on what needed to be done and what didn't need to be done based on the other company's recommendations. I paid $99 for the service to detect where the pipe leakage was and fix it. The agent not only did not find the leakage he was about to leave without doing a water pressure test. Only because I was in contact with another plumber I learned about this test and asked him to do it. He did a pressure gage test but no dye test for the bathroom and put all his confidence in another company, Entrusted, and their thermal camera. Unfortunately that company was just as confused. I must say that neither company earned my trust and in my continued search for someone who knows what they are doing I am having another plumber inspect this morning. This plumbing company was too busy to try to get me on their membership, and maintenance program and sell me other services, to do the job they were here to do. I don't recommend this company. P.S. Upon arrival and in the first 5 minutes this new plumber found a crack in my sprinkler system. Quite an obvious one. Which tells me this company didn't even look at that. SMH read more

Just an awful experience from start to finish dealing with this company. I rarely write reviews -- in fact, this is the first time I've ever written one -- but I felt compelled to do so. In January 2025, we had an exterior pipe burst and one of their technicians came out to repair it, charging over $600. Four months later, the same pipe burst again (in the middle of summer). Another technician came out, fixed it, and stated that the previous technician had done a poor job. Yesterday, the same pipe burst for a third time. A different technician came out and said the repair was not covered under warranty and wanted to charge another $600 to redo the same work yet again. Because we had no water and two toddlers at home, I had no choice but to pay $150 (for a $5 part) just to temporarily plug the leak. On top of this, I had them come out twice to diagnose an issue with my water filtration system. I was charged a total of $300, and unsurprisingly, the system is still not working. I just spoke with the manager, James, who offered a nonsensical explanation insisting the work was done correctly. Hiring "professionals," paying significant money, and repeatedly having the same unresolved issues is unacceptable. Paying for work that fails repeatedly and does not resolve the problem borders on theft. I will be sharing this experience across all forums and channels I am part of. As a final note, I requested to speak with one of the owners, assuming they would care about their company's reputation, and I am still waiting to hear back. read more

Bradbury Brothers installed two AC units for us in 2015. At that time we were having a lot of issues and our goal was to limit outages and limit frequent costly repairs. To address the issue, Bradbury suggested a Daikin unit because they have a 10 year warranty. They also suggested we join their Members Club which we incorrectly understood would cover their visits during the warranty. We drank the Cool aid and even left very positive reviews immediately after the install. To make a long story short, our annual maintenance costs went through the roof after having the units installed. On top of the membership which costs $370/year, Bradbury suggests condenser cleanings every few years for over $600/unit and installing high quality capicitors which cost several hundred dollars and have a short life. Turns out the warranty was a joke. For example, we had a gas valve go out and was quoted $500 to replace it and repalacing a control board under warranty was $300. There are too many fixes to list but most took well under an hour which leads me to believe that their hourly rate is between $500 and $1000 per hour! To top it off the Daikin units are so complicated that many other companies will not even service them. We did have other companies do some of the warranty work but were stuck with Bradbury for most repairs. Resolution, one of the units finally failed and could not be repaired so we had both units replaced last week. I have never been so happy to have something fail six months after the warranty ended. I was talked into a VIP membership thinking it would save me money. boy was I wrong!!! everything includes an added expense or upgrade in addition to your "discounted" price as a member. Prices are absolutely criminal!!!!! they take zero accountability when they make mistakes and make no effort to make it right. you will never get your money back. expect the technician to walk in with an iPad to sell you on stuff you don't need before even assessing the problem or what you called them for. we've used them for electrical work, HVAC and plumbing and they're just trained to sell and charge you the most money possible. stay away!!!! read more

this company has been doing tuneups on my HVAC for a few years. Every time they came out they found something new I needed to add or put on my unit- completely focused on an upsell. this time, I got a second opinion from American pro hvac. First time I actually understood my hvac bypass configuration and why there was so much condensation in plenum box that has caused corrosion. They advised dumping the cold bypass into front of house where I told them I had a 5-8 degree temp differential vs rolling back through unit. never once has Bradbury had that conversation. AP is a licensed on trane so I decided to upgrade to a new unit and fix the ducting which has everything operating as it should now. they also put surge protection on the AC and the furnace at no added charge. I don't trust Bradbury and will immediately be cancelling my service with them - I no longer need it and will go to American pro for service go forward. read more

Terrible experience. Flooded our house and managed to take zero responsibility while blaming everyone but their own plumber. Todd, the owner, only gave excuses and refused any responsibility, despite the fact we had never had a leak and it only occurred while his guys were there. We purchasked a new AC/Furnace from Bradbury Brothers in May 2025! We had not tried the furnace until this we! When we turned it on it did not work! We called Bradbury Brothers immediatel! They responded right away! They were able to figure out the problem and fix it! They also brought a whole new unite with them in case they could not resolve the issue! My first experience with Bradbury Brothers was great back in June. The tech came out and saw my AC needed to be defrost before he can properly diagnose the issue. He came back the next day and was able to fix the issue. He say my system is running great otherwise. I thought I would get the same great experience this time but it was far from it. The tech that came out this time automatically told me that I needed a new AC unit without waiting on my AC to get defrosted. He wanted to send someone else to come out and give me a quote on a new unit. I called the office back to let them know I wanted another tech to come out after my AC has been defrosted to diagnose the problem. When the tech came out he wanted to charge me another fee to diagnose the issue. I was not charged twice last time. If they can't diagnose the problem due to Ac being frozen the office should tell the customers to turn off their AC system before they come out so they can do the diagnostic test the first time. I have an air conditioning unit, for my upstairs, that I purchased from Bradbury Brothers Cooling, Heating, & Plumbing 18 months ago. I recently received a signal on the thermostat saying no power. Looked at the thermostat, checked the breaker, checked all fuses and all appeared to be working well. I finally called Bradbury Brothers to come and look at the unit that they had installed. They were timely coming to the property. Once at the property, they were here for approximately 3 hours looking at several different aspects of the air conditioning and heating unit. Unit was still under warranty at this time. After all the time spent reviewing the system was told that the wires to the thermostat which were not replaced at the time of installation were the cause for the unit not working. Was reassured that there was nothing else that was wrong with the unit and everything else appeared to be working well. I was quoted a price of $375 to replace approximately 10 feet of thermostat cable which cost $23 for 50 feet at Home Depot. The Bradbury tech, who came to my house, told me the wire and labor to fix this problem he diagnosed, was not covered under warranty, as Bradbury Brothers had not replaced this wire when they installed the new $8,000 unit. This is a 15-minute job at best to rewire. I paid the service fee of $99 for them coming out to review our system. Instead of paying the $375 fee, I went to Home Depot and bought the thermostat cable and replaced it myself. The unit still did not start working. I went and looked at a couple of the wires to see what may be causing the problem. I had specifically asked if there was a problem with the water sensors that may be disconnecting the unit and not providing power to the thermostat. I was told that these were working fine. I ended up disconnecting the safe T inspection SS 1 device that is used to sense water in an abnormal position in the unit and turn off power to prevent water damage. All of a sudden, I had everything corrected and the unit fired up and started cooling again. Ended up looking at this particular device, which cost $35 on Amazon. Ordered the part and will reinstall myself. This is somewhat frustrating that someone who is considered an AC/heating specialist cannot diagnose a $30 problem that can be fixed within 15 minutes at a reasonable price. It is more upsetting that I paid $99 for someone to waste 4 hours of my time because I had a wait around all day long for the tech's arrival at my property. We needed to have our a/c unit replaced for the downstairs of our house 12 months ago and used Carl's Quality Cooling and Heating based out of Conroe, TX. They are a small family-run A/C company with nearly 80 years in the A/C business. They are prompt, professional, and don't take advantage of the customer. Furthermore, they know what they are doing! Based on my negative experience with Bradbury Brothers yesterday, I will never recommend Bradbury Brothers to anyone. However, I do highly recommend Carl's Quality Cooling and Heating for whenever a new unit is needed as well as any repairs needed on current units. read more

I canceled our monthly subscription today. We only got the subscription because we were told we'd be priority if we needed AC repairs. We called on Sunday and were told they wouldn't be coming out like they had told us when we signed up for the subscription. The technician came out after we finally got electricity back on since Beryl hit Monday. He tried to replace the entire compressor. My husband told him to just replace whatever part we needed. The guy quoted $3400 for a blower. We had $1000 that had accrued in our account so our bill was $2400. We just wanted it fixed, which the technician did. I then called another company to ask how much a blower on our unit would cost. He quoted $1200-1400. This was the last straw with this company. They send techs to our house quarterly and try to up-sale us on every little thing. One tech will say one thing is wrong and then the next that comes out says something totally different. Their prices are not reasonable considering there are other companies that offer the same service for a better price. The reason I'm giving them two stars is because their techs are pretty nice and the guy who installed our blower did it correctly. Prices are definitely a one star and beyond ridiculous even for The Woodlands up-charge we're use to paying. I will not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I've been a Bradbury Brothers customer for 11 years. They have offered good service, but they charge a premium price. They come out twice a year for routine maintenance on my HVAC system. This week the technician came out for what is usually about a one-hour service call on our heating system. He was here for 3 hours and I am unsure what he did. He was in the attic most of the time and I could not hear him moving around. He was on his phone for some of the time. When he got through, he told me everything was working fine and then tried to upsell me over $2K worth of services. Some of the services have never been mentioned in 11 years of routine calls, like adding a condensate drain blow-out valve. I asked if they could update the quote on a replacement HVAC system, which I had received a year ago, and was informed that a technician would have to come out to requote. The house hasn't changed so I'm unsure why I need a visit, other than to try to sell me a system. Their last quote was 20% higher than other companies in the area. Since they've been acquired my sense is they are more interested in upselling than in servicing. I will not be using them in the future. They have lost my trust. read more

UPDATE: Bradbury Brothers sent out a field supervisor to our home who checked everything a third time and gave us a detailed breakdown of the diagnosis. He was very nice and apologized for all the back and forth and mishaps during the other two visits. I feel like they did go above and beyond to make this right and it's very appreciated. Wanted to have our AC units checked and a "tune up" so I chatted via FB Messenger with Bradbury Brothers. My husband called them the next day and we got a same day appointment which we were very happy about. The technician arrived, both our units were working we just wanted a tune up and possibly add free-on to the units, and he checked both units. During his check he fried our board and the upstairs unit completely wouldn't work because of the fried board. He said he called the office and let them know and when they got a replacement board he would come back and fix it. A little while later we received the call that they had a new board for us and he was coming back out. He arrived to fix the board and came downstairs and told us he had "more bad news" and that somehow during all this he messed up our Nest unit on the wall and it would need to be replaced. He said in his 15+ years of experience he has never had so many mess ups..... He said the office would have to get us a new Nest unit and they would be in touch. He put a temporary unit on the wall upstairs that was literally hanging off the wall, but I guess at least we had working AC (even though we had working AC before they even came...) On top of all the mess ups (fried board and not working Nest unit) he didn't even add the FreeOn to the units and said he would do it when they came back out to fix/replace the Nest unit. That was the whole point of us calling them out and we didn't even get that done. When he left that day (Friday) he said his diagnosis was the upstairs unit needed free-on, we had a leak and we really should replace/update the whole unit. He said the office would get with us to discuss a quote if we wanted to take the replacement route. We never received a quote or information regarding this. This was all on a Friday and he was here until about 4:45 pm and we hadn't heard anything about the Nest unit so my husband called Saturday before noon. The person he spoke to said they tried reaching l yesterday at 2:30 pm but we never received a call plus the technician was still here during that time. She said everybody was at lunch right now but she would talk to dispatch and get back to us. Monday they called and said our window was from noon to 4:00 pm for a tech to come back out. They arrived towards the end of the window with a different technician this time. He replaced the Nest unit and said he heard we might need more free on so he would check and we would go from there. He went and checked and came and told me we didn't need any free on and everything looked good. I told him the other technician said we did and he said "the pressure and readings were probably different since it was cooler outside on Friday." and then he had me sign his iPad and he left. So after paying $160 for the two "tune ups" we have two conflicting stories/diagnoses from two different technicians with no solid answers. Feels like we threw money away. I was looking to establish a relationship with a new HVAC company as my current provider is retiring in the near future. I decided to give Bradbury Bothers a chance by using their "$69 Annual Tuneup Special". My current A/C is 3 years old and has performed without issue since installed. The Heater portion is original and 20 years old but has performed without issue as well. The technician was very professional and seemed knowledgeable of his craft. His evaluation noted that the A/C condenser needed minor cleaning & the Heater Blower Motor needed a Major cleaning. He quoted $380 for the A/C Condenser cleaning & $820 for the Blower Motor cleaning. I reluctantly agreed & accept full responsibility for my POOR decision. Both jobs including the initial inspection totaled 6 hours which equates to $200 AN HOUR FOR LABOR, as no parts were needed. His report noted that the A/C was in excellent condition & functioning properly. Within 36 hours the 3 year old A/C Condenser, that had never had an issue, quit running. I reported the issue & the dispatcher informed me that it would be an ADDITIONAL $99 for a Service Tech to come back out. A different Service Tech came out and determined that the "Capacitor", on the Compressor, that was just unassembled and cleaned, had gone out and it would cost $300 to replace. He then offered an upgraded capacitor with a "Soft Start" to eliminate surging for $750. At that point I called my previous HVAC Provider. He came out and replaced the capacitor for $175. When I informed him of the cost for the cleanings, he just laughed and shook his head. LESSON LEARNED. After the initial visit I received a phone call from Bradbury Brothers to rate my experience. When the young lady asked if I would use them again, I replied not without comparison shopping of fees & pricing. Her response was "You don't get the best service for the lowest price" and she proceeded to trash talk all other HVAC companies. Pretty arrogant response on her part. As a retired Quality Assurance / Customer Service Manager for a Fortune 500 company the past 35 years, I can say trashing your competition is never the proper response. They overpromise and under deliver! Waste of money and I am canceling my membership. I was supposed to have scheduled maintenance and they called in the evening, after not showing up and making me wait all day, to say they needed to reschedule. They did NOT show on the day they rescheduled for either. The customer service ladies were not helpful. They can schedule another day and sound clueless and uninterested. Perhaps they put all the effort into getting new customers when something breaks but ongoing customer service is terrible! read more

We recently used this business for a leaky plumbing situation that was deemed too dire for a DIY moment. We called another local competitor and sadly, they were not able to come out till the following business day. We placed a second call to Bradbury and "lo and behold," our knight in shining armor to save the day! They came out the same day (KUDOS!), but charged a flat fee of $49 to come out and "just look" at the issue, which is DISAPPOINTING (but I wouldn't doubt that it is probably a standard industry practice, that said, I still don't like it). The repair was a SUCCESS, but cost me nearly $250 for the repair. STICKER SHOCK! The Repair Person said I needed to replace a part (not sure if i truly believed him, but I was stuck and at his mercy) and he used this opportunity to inform me about their "priority member program," that if I joined, the part would be cheaper. I only got the highlights and then my eyes just glazed over as I was thinking to myself by how poor timing this sales pitch was...a membership program? Seriously? Not going to lie, this was a major turnoff. Truthfully, as much as I wanted to pay less for the equipment and installation, I did not want to become a member and pay however much per month for membership services ($10?) that I do not routinely need every month. So, I paid full price and made a mental note. Overall the service was not bad...it was GREAT! I was in a pinch and they answered my call. But the cost for that service, and along with questionable equipment repairs leaves much to be pondered & desired. Pretty sure they will not be my first call next time (maybe second/third) when there are other competing business that offer the same services for more cost effective options. IMO. read more

Very disappointed. The customer service is good, but they lie!!! I had them come out for an air conditioning repair yesterday. They diagnosed it, but were not able to get the parts until the following day. They called today saying the parts are not available anywhere locally, the earliest they can service me is tomorrow. I've been without air conditioning for almost two days and I have young children. It was so bad, that even with 5 large fans running full blast it was still too hot and we stayed in a hotel for the night. They wanted to get me to sign up for a $14.00 per month deal to become a priority member and get 20% off...so basically I'm not a priority until I pay this... Called a different company to come out, and guess what... the parts are available locally from Carrier, and he will be here in a few minutes to install the parts that we need today because the parts are avaible and they are 500.00 cheaper than Bradbury Brothers . I don't appreciate being lied to and I do not recommend Bradbury Brothers. read more

I had them install two ceiling fans, one wall remote and one hand held remote. They did not check to see if the frequencies in the two rooms were different. They were the same and the wall switched turned on off both fans and lights and the hand held also turned off both fans and lights. When I called them to fix their error, they wanted another $221 to come out. They did not warranty their work. I will never use them again. Called this company to check my ac. It was running continually. A service tech came out and charged me two hundred dollars. He said that the system specifically the air handler needed to be replaced. I just finished with another air conditioning company. They told me the only problem was I needed Freon. He charged me $100.00. Had a great experience with Bradbury Brothers. The furnace went out on our rented townhome as soon as the weather hit freezing. They were able to come out, get a quote to fix or replace the unit, and get a new furnace installed within 3 days. The lead installer was on time, very respectful of our property, got it done in a timely fashion and cleaned up on the way out. We were able to come and go as they installed it through our the day. Very over-priced. I made the mistake of signing up for their monthly "comfort program" and then had a hard time getting out of it when I realized how over-priced they were compared to most other heating and air conditioning companies. By joining the program, it's 20% off your estimates, but they are waaaay over priced. When I tried to cancel the program, they told me I had to keep it for 6 months. So, 6 months later, I tried to cancel it, and it took over a month of phone calls and emails to finally get released. Don't use this company read more
