    Flooded carpet

    Terrible experience. Flooded our house and managed to take zero responsibility while blaming everyone but their own plumber. Todd, the owner, only gave excuses and refused any responsibility, despite the fact we had never had a leak and it only occurred while his guys were there. I was still charged for service and now dealing with over $10,000 in damages. .

    This the part that went bad

    I have an air conditioning unit, for my upstairs, that I purchased from Bradbury Brothers Cooling, Heating, & Plumbing 18 months ago. I recently received a signal on the thermostat saying no power. Looked at the thermostat, checked the breaker, checked all fuses and all appeared to be working well. I finally called Bradbury Brothers to come and look at the unit that they had installed. They were timely coming to the property. Once at the property, they were here for approximately 3 hours looking at several different aspects of the air conditioning and heating unit. Unit was still under warranty at this time. After all the time spent reviewing the system was told that the wires to the thermostat which were not replaced at the time of installation were the cause for the unit not working. Was reassured that there was nothing else that was wrong with the unit and everything else appeared to be working well. I was quoted a price of $375 to replace approximately 10 feet of thermostat cable which cost $23 for 50 feet at Home Depot. The Bradbury tech, who came to my house, told me the wire and labor to fix this problem he diagnosed, was not covered under warranty, as Bradbury Brothers had not replaced this wire when they installed the new $8,000 unit. This is a 15-minute job at best to rewire. I paid the service fee of $99 for them coming out to review our system. Instead of paying the $375 fee, I went to Home Depot and bought the thermostat cable and replaced it myself. The unit still did not start working. I went and looked at a couple of the wires to see what may be causing the problem. I had specifically asked if there was a problem with the water sensors that may be disconnecting the unit and not providing power to the thermostat. I was told that these were working fine. I ended up disconnecting the safe T inspection SS 1 device that is used to sense water in an abnormal position in the unit and turn off power to prevent water damage. All of a sudden, I had everything corrected and the unit fired up and started cooling again. Ended up looking at this particular device, which cost $35 on Amazon. Ordered the part and will reinstall myself. This is somewhat frustrating that someone who is considered an AC/heating specialist cannot diagnose a $30 problem that can be fixed within 15 minutes at a reasonable price. It is more upsetting that I paid $99 for someone to waste 4 hours of my time because I had a wait around all day long for the tech's arrival at my property. We needed to have our a/c unit replaced for the downstairs of our house 12 months ago and used Carl's Quality Cooling and Heating based out of Conroe, TX. They are a small family-run A/C company with nearly 80 years in the A/C business. They are prompt, professional, and don't take advantage of the customer. Furthermore, they know what they are doing! Based on my negative experience with Bradbury Brothers yesterday, I will never recommend Bradbury Brothers to anyone. However, I do highly recommend Carl's Quality Cooling and Heating for whenever a new unit is needed as well as any repairs needed on current units.

They came out and made an initial assessment. Parker was able to replace a couple of motors on the dampers to try and solve the problem at a much better price than I was quoted by my regular AC service company. This needed to be done regardless. Shortly after, the same problem persisted so I called again and Daisy scheduled another appointment for the very next morning. They came out the next morning and did some further investigating and discovered what they thought was the source of the problem and they offered a discount on the new part/labor considering that I had already paid for the motors.I never felt like they were trying to do an upsell or pressuring me to do unnecessary repairs. Their prices are very, very competitive. They were very persistent in trying to solve the problem and needless to say, my problem was solved today and their customer service is A++. I want to specifically thank the technician that worked on everything, Parker, he's a great tech and all-around good guy. Please support this local business, you will not be disappointed!!!

    These guys stand by their work and I appreciate that! My AC went out this past Friday. After doing…read moresome troubleshooting Saturday morning to see if it's a simple fix, I was unable to get it back working so I decided to give them a call. They did a service call later that day which revealed that the board on my furnace was bad and needed to be replaced. They put in a temporary fix which allowed one of my 2 thermostats to directly control the AC for the entire house until then. Monday roll around, they came out and replaced the board which took a few hours. After being told it was done, there was still no air coming out of the vents. I communicated my problem and the next day, the owner had another tech out investigating my issue which revealed a slightly different issue than what it was originally believed to be. They got it figured out and got my AC working. They also came back the following day just to further troubleshoot and make sure they had the issue fully resolved, then also fully explained to me what was the issue and the steps they took to resolve it. I felt like they took the effort to make sure my issue was resolved properly. I stand by any business that values customer service. I recommend these guys!
