Had the inspector taken a little more time to investigate these items, the report would have been much more accurate and reliable. An inspection report carries a great deal of weight in a real estate transaction, and it's important that findings are both well-supported and presented in the proper context. Unfortunately, this report created unnecessary concern and confusion. I would encourage more attention to detail and a more balanced approach before recommending this service.

DO NOT TRUST US Inspect I now have $28,000 repair that would have ruled out this house had the inspection done what I paid for. I'm devastated at what US Inspect has done to destroy my financial future! I trusted them and they didn't see a problem a non skilled laborer pointed out. BEWARE!!!! After reading reviews, and trying to find someone who specialized an older homes, we landed on Young's Inspections. Getting set up for the inspection was fairly straightforward and organized. It's quite pricey to have a foundation inspection at about $650 -from what I could read that's pretty close to the national average. Bob was thorough in his report and sent it our way the week after the inspection. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I felt confident in his expertise. If you need a structural engineer to inspect your foundation, I would recommend giving him a try. I hope you don't have to, though!

They responded to my message in a timely manner, answered all my questions and they weren't pushy about getting their services. I have a new build so when it was finally time to hire an inspector I decided to go with MC2. So glad I did. They were reasonable and the inspection took about 3 hours. It was a smooth process and Greg, my inspector, was awesome. He was VERY picky (which I love) and he pointed out things that I wouldn't have seen. Please do NOT purchase a home without getting your own inspection done (IMO). Greg was very professional, he came in with footies and he had the report done later that night filled the pictures, notes and suggestions.
