Bathrooms were spotless as any Sheetz restrooms I've ever been in. I went to the food order touch screens and ordered a grilled chicken wrap. No one seemed to be ahead of me and my food took a little longer than I had expected. It was about 7 or 8 minutes before my order was ready. In the grand scheme of things this isn't a long time to wait but in comparison to any other sheetz it was a little longer than normal. The wrap was pretty good, seemed like normal Sheetz quality food ingredients in which I really didn't have any complaints. My only issue was it seemed like the wrap was made very quickly and the wrap was torn in one spot. I didn't realize this and of course began eating it from the opposite end so by the time I was halfway through it was completely falling apart. If I'm in the area I'll stop by again, no major issues and the food was still enjoyable.

I still recommend it because it's pineapple one of my favorites. As for the appetizers I had tater tots, jalapeño poppers, and mozzarella sticks. All were cooked well and were fantastic! I would note the jalapeño poppers were especially hot...be ware. Service was quick. Employees were all pleasant. Plenty of space to eat. Overall this place is what I expected. Definitely make a stop here and enjoy a snack or two.

Kinda confusing since after the rebrand they never posted a menu so you have to assume they stuck with the old menu. Also kind of misleading because the prices on this old menu do not reflect the current price. The prices I paid for 2 western omelets and 2 orders of "extra crispy" hash browns was $10 more than what the menu says. When I picked it up, I walked in, paid, and waited. And waited. From phone call to food in the window was almost 30 minutes. Seemed a bit much for an omelette. Now for the food. Omelette was ok, felt like it took a while for me to find anything that came inside the omelette besides eggs. Last time I ordered the hash browns here, they seemed like they were shredded and microwaved. So I ordered them extra crispy this time. And while I guess they were more brown than last time, I would hardly even called these fully cooked let alone extra crispy. Pretty disappointing. Probably will make it myself next time.

Went in and bought a bag of ice, and much to my dismay there was no ice in the ice box. And they couldn't figure out how to give me a refund. Stopped for gas recently and the parking lot was nasty. No water in the windshield cleaning containers. No paper towels. No receipt from the gas pump. Not sure if they are under new management, but doubt I'll be eating anything there anytime soon. Hope they can get their act back together.

The Good - Easy to get to. Right off I40…read more - Rural area so you are not fighting traffic to pull in or to leave - You can pay at the pump - The store has the basics (drinks, snacks, etc.) - 3 rows of pumps so it is rare to have to wait to get gas - No bums hanging around asking for money - Diesel fuel available The Bad - The new Davie High School is right down the road so may want to avoid during peak school traffic - A few cents higher per gallon of gas, compared to gas stations right down the road (either direction) with competition - They don't really have prepared food if you are hungry for a sandwich or some cooked meal - Parking lot needs to be repaved. Lots of pot holes and patches. If you just want to get gas quickly, good place to stop.

I will say however, it's not in the best part of town and there's often questionable characters hanging around outside. Just beware of your surroundings while there. I've only been in the station once or twice, and it's your typical gas station, snacks and drinks. Nothing to write home about. I've rarely had interactions with the attendants, so can't say too much about them...again, if you're in the area, top off your tank,because you won't find cheaper gas anywhere else
