These days, I'll choose Shell over anyone else (and on top of that, the Fuel Rewards program to save a few extra cents per gallon). So when this appeared on my path through Winston-Salem, I went out of my way to visit. This is the coolest thing. It is the last survivor of seashell-shaped gas stations that were built in the 1930s. This last station remained open until the 1950s and housed a lawn mower repair business in the 1970s and 80s. In 1976, it became the first individual station in America to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Stick your nose up against the glass to see inside. You'll see historic black-and-white photograms, old Shell signs and other related memorabilia. The station will be here for a while thanks to Preservation North Carolina holding protective covenants. She does not need a job in customer service because she had the nastiest attitude I have ever seen. Idc if you're having a bad day or whatever is going on you leave that at the door when you clock in. I am not the type of person you want a problem with and I am super nice bubbly person and usually get along with everyone just fine. Please fire her she doesn't belong in customer service. Their praces are about the lowest in this area and the staff has always helped me in a friendly manor when I have made purchases there. I utilize the Exxon mobile app to authorize the pump and pay. I had $20 in rewards that I had earned. I chose to use $7 to offset some of the gas that I had to pay. I was filling up and Expedition that I'm using as a rental that was almost on E.. so I pay $81 for 26 gallons... Whew! This is double that I put in my Camry. Authorizing the pump was simple and smooth. No issues!

I always get my go to: an oat milk mocha latte made with three shakes of cinnamon powder. The espresso is rich and flavorful and it's always served just hot enough. I have also tried the other flavors they have added to my mocha, including peanut butter and banana and both were delicious. They also serve food here and we have gotten the chicken tenders and tater tots. That were surprisingly delicious! We've also gotten the cheese sticks, which were also warm gooey crispy and yummy. If you don't have time to go to sit and enjoy your latte at a local coffee house. I strongly suggest you try the coffee at sheets! My best friend also loves their regular coffees, but I haven't tried them. Gas stations are evolving into so much more than the old-school gas station/convenience store. They also serve Krispy Kreme doughnuts here. the attendance are always friendly and courteous.
