I waited in a long line (this is quite a busy station store, and parking lot traffic does not quite abide by the painted markings on the road) only to be told that the system was not working and to check back in the next days. This is rather unfortunate during the first weekend of the fishing year. On the plus side, there is free compressed air here, which sometimes works. It's really conveniently located just off the freeway, and it's either new or really well-maintained. It's clean, bright, and overall well-stocked with a good selection of treats. Add in friendly service from cashier Annika, and I am a happy camper.

They are honest, respectful, and friendly mechanics and workers here. Speaking as a woman, I have never experienced any condescension and feel very safe and not taken advantage of. Their prices are average, but the service is efficient, and the friendly staff make it worth it. They even gave my car a complimentary car wash after an oil change! They have a cozy waiting area in their office if you choose to wait for your car instead of taking one of their loaners. I highly recommend this auto shop for car maintenance, especially to women who are looking for trusted mechanics.

The gal was on the phone, the guy stuttered for a long seconds with "uhhhhhhhh.....it starts at $35". I asked him why does it costs less than an oil change, the stated price on the sign board, in their shop, for $30. He said: that's inside. I said: What's the difference between inside and outside? He replies: well...that's the advertised price inside, in the event that we run a special. Normally, an oil change costs $70. Really? They're in the business of slashing 60% off? Terrible liar. After sensing a complete bait-n-switch with a flavor ful of up-pricing, I just leave. How hard is it to move 2 tires from the back to the front, and vice versa? And, for $35? Ha! Did it myself this evening, anyway. Joke is on you if you get your car serviced here.

It's a little hard to get to with the construction- but I'm hoping it'll be finished by the end of the season. I waited in line for a quick service oil change for a bit before anyone noticed me. I interacted with two employees- one was a woman who was a 10/10 and had amazing customer service. The other was a gentlemen who directed me while pulling in my car, he gets a 3/10 because well he was rude. Had I not interacted with him I would've given this place 5 stars. I was given the option to stay in the car or go inside, I was pressed on time so I waited inside. It took about 15/20 minutes from the time I pulled in to when I left. There was a coupon online which brought my oil change to about $70, seemed a little high but at that point it didn't bother me- I assume they charged what was needed. If you're in need of quick service oil changes this could be a solid option.

And they 100% addressed the 1 billing glitch quickly and effectively during that time frame. I'm quite happy with Pace's. You really can't ask for anything more than that kind of workmanship and customer service.

Communication from all the staff at Pace Automotive is excellent, and I've even had some great conversations with them, which is rare for me at places like this. I've remained a loyal customer. I have yet to have mechanical service but I continue to purchase gas, since their prices are often lower than other places in the area. I also appreciate how they seem to look out for the community by keeping prices more affordable.

My wife brought in the car for an oil change, and on pickup the manager discussed the condition of the drive belts.. He told her that they were "the worst he had ever seen" and that they were "ready to fail at any moment". Now get this.. he quotes her over $350.00 for replacement! Yes, three-hundred and fifty dollars for one hour of labor and $30 in parts. I'm sorry, but that's nothing short of criminal. Absolutely shameful, trying to take advantage of a lone woman (who just happens to be married to a retired mechanic, unknown to him). Needless to say I'm thoroughly disgusted with his behavior and we will never return. Oh, I ordered the new belts (Continental brand, mid-range quality) from Rock Auto for under $20 total. A good neighbor installed them for us, for which I paid him $60 cash. Took a little over an hour.. for an amateur, who knows how to do basic to intermediatec car work.

The repair was completed, and I left assuming everything was taken care of. The next day my tire pressure light came on. I figured it probably just needed to be reset after the service. By Monday morning, the tire was completely flat. I called the store expecting them to take responsibility and help resolve the issue, especially since the tire was under warranty and they had just serviced it. Instead, I was told I would need to tow the vehicle back in. I explained that I didn't think I should have to pay for a tow when the problem appeared to be related to the work they had just done. Rather than working toward a solution, the manager, Jonathan, became combative and argumentative. The tone was defensive and dismissive, not helpful. When I asked for the name of his manager or someone I could escalate the issue to, he refused to provide it and acted like there was no one above him. I ended up having to call the main customer service line myself to try to get this resolved. I did not create this issue. The tire was covered under warranty, I brought it in for repair, and shortly after the service the tire was completely flat. A reasonable response would have been an apology, arranging a tow, and correcting the problem. Instead, I was met with resistance and poor customer service. Really frustrating experience, and not what you want when dealing with something that directly affects vehicle safety.
