I stopped by here around 6:45pm on Monday to grab some snacks and gas. There was a peculiar aroma…read morethat I can't quite name. There wasn't as many snack options I hoped or compared to as other gas stations. I did get a drink and a bag of Chex mix. At the register, there is a sign stating that there would be a charge of $0.60 for credit/debit transactions under $7, which I think it high. I've seen $5 at some places but never $7. What I ordered was under $7, so I had to pay that $0.60 charge lol. Cashier was friendly.

What really struck me was the service. My spouse stayed behind to pay while I took our child to the car to get buckled in. Someone came up behind me yelling and startled me. It was a store employee angrily saying something about a receipt. Long story short, my spouse put his card in at the register, the employee handed him a receipt, and he left. After looking at it, it wasn't even our receipt. My spouse went back inside and attempted to pay again, using two different cards, but they wouldn't work, even though he had just used one outside at the gas pump. He paid cash to settle the transaction. However much of an inconvenience that was, it wasn't the problem. The problem was the employee's behavior. He was angrily yelling and behaving in such a way as to imply we were trying to steal from the store, when in actuality, it was a complete misunderstanding. The employee didn't verify the transaction cleared, nor did he verify the receipt he handed out was the correct receipt. On the other end, we should have also verified the receipt we were given was the correct receipt. IMHO, this behavior isn't acceptable and this store is definitely not somewhere we would stop again.
