They are open on saturdays until 1pm. Most places online say ther are not open on satursay. But over all it is a nice place with good home town atmosphere. I'll review both the store and the pharmacy. The store is well-organized and the staff members are pretty friendly. I have never left this store without finding what I was looking for (I don't always buy because their prices don't always meet competitors). The pharmacy definitely has some problems. Part of the problem is that there must be a pharmacist on duty in order for the pharmacy to open. This Walgreen's seems to lack enough licensed pharmacists so it is sometimes closed without explanation. I've had really good luck and really bad luck with the staff. Some are super friendly and some are super rude. There doesn't seem to be an in between. I will also say that this Walgreen's does not seem to stock a lot of prescriptions regularly. I've had to wait more than a week for my prescription at times. I'm not sure that this store is much different than any other Walgreen's store.

When I arrived at the pickup time, they had not even started to print it yet (nothing was being printed so it's not like they were backed up or printer was busy). They said to come back in an hour. When I came back later, they said there was a printer error and had to restart the process and that it would for sure be done by the next day. I showed up the next day, and all the photos were printed, but no one there at the time knew how to make the book. The lady said the manager wouldn't be in until the next day (Monday) but took down my number for the manager to call me. When I showed up the afternoon of the next day, my photos were printed and sitting out on the counter, still not in an album. The girl had to get the manager because she didn't know how to make the book. 10 minutes later, the manager handed me what seemed like the finished product, I paid, and went home. When I got home, pages were falling out of the album as it hadn't been bound properly. I returned to the Walgreens (now my 6th time being there) described the issue, and was told it would take about an hour because the machine had to heat up. So now, I am currently waiting to return to Walgreens for the 7th time to hopefully pick up an adequate finished product, several days after it was to be done.

By 10:30, someone who came after me scheduled for 10:30 was present and received their shot on schedule, in and out. I don't know if the pharmacist in charge is just a poor manager of his staff or lacks the ability to direct his staff to remain on schedule, but this was the worst display of service I've seen in a very long time. It may be a lack of proficiency from the rest of the staff as well. At the end of the day, i can confirm that the team at the front counter didn't even check online to see if my wife was in the system. They took a printout, confirmed her name wasn't there and treated her like someone new. I addressed the leadership and they did NOTHING for us. Every other month I have an issue with my refills. This time I called to find out why I haven't received a text that my medication was ready. After being on hold for 10 mins a lady gave me two different answer of what was going on with my medication then put me back on hold. Several mins later a guy gets on the phone and tells me my medicine was entered wrong and the one I usually gets is not in stock and will have to be ordered. This is not a new prescription, I get this inhaler every month. I am out of medication and now it won't be in for a few more days. This pharmacy lacks respective employees and they don't care about their customers.

She was argumentative over the phone with me and refused to help me. She actually argued with me instead of helping me figure out why I was having issues with this prescription pick up. It took me having to call my insurance multiple times, local general practitioner multiple times and a previous Walgreens pharmacy to straighten out the situation. Turns out the employee at the Moncks Corner Walgreens did not know how to correctly run the system there and had messed up our prescription order entirely. Obviously there is a severe lack of training here, care for people's health and also lack customer service. I felt attacked, not helped. Will be changing pharmacies as soon as possible.
