Fuel Stop to top off the RV diesel tank before heading back to Florida, I used pump #21 at the high flow fuel island without much of a wait. Everything here looked pretty good, it took longer to make the pre-fueling and post-fueling trips to the fuel counter than it did to pump the 62.344 gallons, the prices are somewhat competitive at $3.609 per gallon so I got out of here for $225.00. The staff at the fuel counter were very nice and efficient even though they were very busy fortunately you can grab your actual receipt after fueling from a numbered slotted box on the edge of the counter without any additional interaction. The entrance and exit from the trucker's lanes have plenty of room to maneuver once you complete your fueling and it's only a short drive back to the interstate. The facility was well maintained and the restroom were very clean - not all Love Travel Stop are created the same but this one is well managed from the look of things... read more

We made a quick stop for Powerball tickets on the way home. I didn't go too far into the store since the register was by the door. I took a quick glance around the store and it looked clean. There's a fenced in gravely dog park area to the side of the parking lot where you get let your dogs run around for a bit. This location also has a drive through McDonald's and Subway. read more

This stretch of I-95 doesn't have many gas stations where I feel comfortable stopping when traveling alone. Recently, I visited Florence, and when I needed a gas and bathroom stop, I opted for Love's. I didn't want to risk running out of gas before I got to Manning, and I wanted to check out Love's since it is newer and let's be honest- the logo is cute. If you're hungry, McDonald's and Subway are both attached to the store. I loved that they have a little fenced in dog park as well- perfect for those traveling with pets. read more

I was parked outside the shop and my 81 year old mother was inside. She came out, got in the van and was very shaken. She told me what had just happened to her and she told me to go inside and thank the girl behind the counter for being so nice to her. My mom's story: She was at the register and she dropped one of her coffee creamers and it spilled on the floor. A customer started yelling at her for her to clean it up. Knowing my mom, she wasn't aware that she dropped it. My mom was caught off guard and not sure what to do. ILA, behind the counter was super nice to my mom and told her not to worry about it, that someone would clean it up. The other customer wouldn't let it go. She kept yelling at my mom to clean it up. ILA was so gentle with my mother and reassured her that she didn't do anything wrong. It may not seem like such a huge gesture to many, but without knowing my mom - believe me - my mom will be talking about ILA for the next few months. read more

As a result, I look out for Love's Travel Stops more often when I'm on the road. This location in Summerton, South Carolina is a prime example of that. My wife and I were driving from North Carolina to Georgia on I-95. We both noticed a sign for this Love's and decided to stop here for gas and restroom breaks. This Love's is located just off I-95 exit 108 (Road 102 - Summerton). When I drive between North Carolina and Georgia, I normally take I-85 in Upstate SC: https://www.yelp.com/collection/Ey266j_8lAHk7iQLDODC9g/Carolinas-I-85-Corridor. On that stretch, I prefer QuikTrip. I didn't see any QTs along I-95 in SC, so Love's might currently be the best gas station and convenience store chain on this stretch. This is Love's store #790. It opened in May 2020. So, it's still relatively new and nice, as most newer gas stations are. This one was bright, clean, and spacious. Big store on a big lot. 16 pumps. Everything I saw looked to be in good condition. And since this is South Carolina, you get great South Carolina gas prices. This station was bustling and with so much traffic, the inside of the store and the men's restroom seemed clean enough. There are McDonald's and Subway restaurants attached. Attached restaurants and truck stops with amenities like showers are things that typically differentiate Love's from other brands such as QT. BTW, the showers can be used by anyone, not just truck drivers. We are definitely travelers and this was BY FAR the worst Love's I have ever entered. The line to get into the women's bathroom was 15 people long. When I finally did get inside the lavatory only three stalls were open because the other four stalls were filthy with waste. When I was finished urinating, there was no toilet paper!!!! read more

The Speedco service center is not organized at all. Been here since 645 am. They didn't even come in until 7:15 am. The tech showed up at 8:30am. Got in the Bay finally at 8:45 am. It's now 9:45 am and they're telling me there missing at oil filter. Was told on yesterday afternoon that all filters for my truck was here. 10.am now and they are just going to a part store to get my filters. 3 hours shot to hell and probably 2 more hours to go. Alot of work could be getting done while waiting for this filter but they're sitting until the part comes in. If you use this place. Bring all your parts with you or do your own PM at home like I will be doing. Poor organization here in Summerton SC read more

Brand new store but a crap subway restaurant inside! We are truck drivers, stop here every week for the past month. Every week, the lazy workers in the subway don't want to perform their jobs. We ask for salads, they slam the bowls and get attitude because they have to make them. My husband asked for yellow egg this week and sausage last week and both times, he's told that they don't have any OUT! Which means it isn't out with the rest of the food. But it's most likely in the back but they are too lazy to walk back and get it. This place is THE WORST subway around. They need a whole new crew of workers because the ones there now are worthless. read more

Traveling from Virginia to Florida. The store Is clean, convenient and I love the choices but the female employees are rude from the Subway to the Loves cashiers. The lines were long with only a single employee trying to maintain and they treat you as if they have better things to do than their jobs. All while some employees were just walking around while others were eating. I think with better training it would be a great rest stop. read more
