The store and lot are always clean, bathroom is in great shape, coffee always fresh. They've had the same employees for the duration that I've been a customer (5ish years), so I feel that's a testament to how well they treat the employees. Super nice staff. This is our favorite convenience store by far.

I was trying to use my fleet card at the pump but the pump was refusing to read it. This happens…read moreevery now and then so I went inside and tried to pay there and the numb skull behind the counter had the nerve to tell me that my card was declined. I said that's not possible it didn't even prompt me for an odometer reading or driver number but he insisted that in front of a bunch of people in line at that. When I went back out to the pump my card worked just fine. It would be nice if he would not say stuff that's humiliating and inaccurate in front of everybody and told me to call my company. Thankfully I'm used to this kind of nonsense and I figured it out on my own.

The workers really try to do their best here, but unfortunately, it's the clientele that drag this…read moreplace down. There are always people begging for money outside all the doors. They have been shootings here. Before they rearranged the store, I've watched kids run out the door with handfuls of chips and whatever else they could grab. They have security now, but I don't know how much good it does. The coffee and soda stations are often a mess and not stocked well. To be fair, the place is always hopping and doesn't seem to have enough employees to keep the area clean. I will say the bathrooms are pretty well maintained, and the shelves are usually stocked. It's just a rough part of town, unfortunately. If you're a big QT fan, I suggest the Chouteau and Jefferson location, which is better.

Visited this BP station for gas. While I was there I suspect my debit card was skimmed by the young…read moreman working there just after 12pm on Christmas Eve 2022. I was unable to get the card to work at the pump. Went in to pay. But before I was able to pay, the clerk ran out to the pump with a device, then ran back in and then had me swipe my card to prepay for gas. His actions seemed strange at the time. That same day, someone used my card info to make several withdraws from a nearby atm. I have no way to know for sure but seemed suspicious to me.

The same folks have been there for years and will ask you about your day or tell you to feel better if they see you buying some cold medicine. After 11 they do close the door and complete transactions though the window but hey, that's perfectly reasonable and safe. It's true they are a couple of cents more per gallon than the conglomerates but I'm happy to spend that to support the owners and nice people who work there. (Whatever time, 2 hours later than the time I was there). No sense of urgency from the cashiers, they don't be caring. They will go as slow as possible, be outside smoking and not come inside when you do, and are always super rude and ignorant/illiterate as possible. Tonight I was told I could not pay for something in between $5 and $10 with all quarters. Yes, QUARTERS. You know, quarters--something cashiers almost ALWAYS NEED. The problem here is ALWAYS the problem. They're super rude.
