California Plumbing was able to quickly get a team out to our house to make their own assessment. The team at California Plumbing presented the situation to us in clear terms that gave us confidence in their knowledge and abilities. Their pricing came in much more realistic than the "other guys" and the team was able to get out to the house almost immediately (within a day) to get the permanent fix completed. The damage clearly looks like the snake was forced repeatedly into the line, not like a natural crack. It was obvious the technician did not know what he was doing. When I contacted the office to find a reasonable solution, I was met with extremely rude and unprofessional behavior from Sheree. Instead of taking any responsibility or even attempting to help, they immediately referred me to Easy Flow for repairs--repairs needed only because their technician caused the damage. The repair estimate is over $1,300 dollars and we are now without functioning restrooms on the 2nd floor because of this incident. Based on this experience, Affordable Drain Service shows zero accountability, poor workmanship, and terrible customer service. I strongly recommend staying away from this business. Jalen quoted a price that was initially pretty high (in my opinion) we discussed options and eventually landed on a price that was acceptable. They had to provide an emergency water rig since the leak was discovered on Friday afternoon. This was helpful as we then had water over the weekend. On Monday Jose and Derek showed up and got to work. They trenched the yard being cautious of the customer wall we have in front. They project took 3 days. On the second and third days Jose and a new plumber named Dan showed up to finish the work. Each day they left the work site clean and presentable which is a sign that they really cared and knew what they were doing. We had copper pipe installed. They installed it to the proper depth and the routing and connections were clean. When they were finished they returned the yard to a condition whereby you could not even tell they had dug up the yard. Over all we are very happy with the installation and would recommend John Padilla Plumbing for anyone wanting a clean and efficient repair of their main water line.
